i'm afraid that i've forgotten who i truly am. the girl in the mirror feels like a stranger i can only vaguely remember. we share the same mouth, eyes and hands. we have loved the same people, though in different ways.

she's the voice in my head that's begging so hard to be released. after all of these years, i can still hear her dark, lonely and pained screams. she cries out during the night, "why am i still not worthy of loving me?"

i can see it in her eyes. the longing to be no one but herself. i've grown tired of the masks and the empty games of charades. i want her to come home. i miss every hurting part of her beautiful soul.

so let me love you back to life. let me give you everything the world couldn't. it doesn't make you broken to be different from the mold.
