i miss myself.
there's nothing more to it.
every time i'm alone, i'm reminded of her absence. she continues to hold onto me while begging me to let her go.
and it hurts. it hurts because there's nothing i can do to make her understand how much i need her.
she's the answer to all of my pain. she's the only person i'll ever need. i just can't love another without wishing she was there instead.
but i keep screaming at the girl in the mirror, the same one who carries the weight of my broken soul. i hate her because i'll never understand how it feels to be whole.
