i can feel my loneliness surrounding me. that's the problem. it always has been. i feel so painfully empty inside. it's as if something that's meant to be there is missing.

i don't know myself anymore. i can't remember who i am or who i used to be. i can't remember what lights me up inside or what puts a smile on my face. all i know is that there's an emptiness inside me that i can't seem to fill.

i can no longer recognize the girl in the mirror. she's become a stranger. i keep on asking her who she is. but she never answers back.
