at the end of the day, she finds herself alone. it's not a physical loneliness. it's not something that can be fixed by the touch of a lover's hand or a false life made up of people that adore her. it's the pain of knowing that nobody sees her. after all, how can anybody notice her if she isn't truly there?

she parades around in a mask created by those who told her she wasn't good enough. she abandoned herself for a society that doesn't understand how to accept her. she's alone because she doesn't have anyone. she's alone because she doesn't even have herself.
