i don't believe in shooting stars, fallen eyelashes, making a wish under a tunnel, or blowing out birthday candles. i don't believe in them but i can't help myself wishing for them anyways. it's addicting, wishing, wanting, i feel like i deserve better. i love myself enough to know i deserve better. but it never works. does it? they are never answered every wish i make, every sound i use, react three time to claim dropping pennies in wells. every superstition i follow for my good luck never comes. i don't believe in shooting stars but i really fucking want to.

Gaius Atiius Quadratus will not forget this kindness. The MC is based on the monk class of many rpgs, but the story isn't Litrpg. Also he will gain non monk abilities after a while. Fair warning I don't understand the rating system but I'll say M-rated just in case. This is my first story, I accept criticism but I would like the critic to explain the reasoning behind it. Also I'm still figuring how this site works and I have no schedule so updates may be sporadic, at least once a week. Not a native speaker but in the practices, too lazy to actually get the diploma, I got an average of 9.7 out of 10 at the Cambridge C1 level, the CAE, second highest european level for foreign languages, so it should be no problem. After bringing themselves back from the brink of annihilation, humanity's future seemed bleak. They theorized that their problems were born of an inherent sense of home and, in order to rid humanity, now comprising of the Terrans as well as all the other known species of the galaxy, of this burden, decided to move far away from civilized space, into uncharted depths, to start anew. Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. Mordikai York, Prince of Russia, is a werewolf. He can be arrogant, rude, and selfish. However, one thing for sure is that he is drop-dead gorgeous. You would think with the last quality, he would have some new woman next to him so he could have his way with her later on, but the good thing about him - he is waiting for his mate. Amorelli and Mordikai. The way they meet is extraordinary. But finding out your mate is a slave, and the prophecies all around them are going to go awry soon is concerning.
