Back at the bounty, Lloyd was furiously tapping buttons, hoping to do something that would help. Nothing worked. Lloyd decide to try something else. He left the room and came back wearing the green ninja gi!
The thing was too big for him, and Lloyd had to roll up the pants and sleeves for him to wear it properly.
"The green ninja is here to save the day!" Lloyd shouted proudly as he ran back to the controls. Lloyd flipped his hold on and started to push buttons again.
"Lloyd? Lord Garmadon? Is anyone there?" Nya asked through the radio.
"It's me Nya! I'm here!" Lloyd responded.
"But my dad... Left. How are you guys holding up?" Lloyd asked. The radio buzzed and they weren't able to comunocate.
In the center tomb, Nya's samurai x mech was hanging on a different chain, across from the ninja. Nya took a rock and threw it at the metal suit to get the radio working.
"We're fine. But we're a little... Held up at the moment." Nya said.
"Our weapons have been taken, and we're looked in cages!" Nya looked down at the serpentine below.
"And Pythor's returned with the fourth fangblade!" Cole announced.
"Lloyd? Where did your father go?" Zane asked.
"I- I told him to leave! He was trying to steal secrets." Lloyd said with a sad tone.
"Ha! Big suprize there. I told you about that guy! You guys wouldn't listen." Kai nudged Jay.
"Especially some dude with a glider." Kai coughed.
"Shut up. Did you dad say where he's going?" Morro asked.
"My dad's going back to where he came from. But don't worry! I'll save you!" Lloyd informed.
"You are not ready Lloyd. Your destiny is too great to risk!" Sensei Wu said.
"I hate to break it to you sensei, but if we don't get out of here before Pythor unleashed the great devourer, I think this will be the end of all our destinies." Cole concluded.
"Ah, uh. I'll get you out of there in a giff!" Lloyd ran off to open a closet with all the weapons. He reached for the staff but in doing so, all the weapons fell on him.
"Ouch...."
Pyhtor held the last fangblade up in the air while the other serpentine cheered.
"Together! We have taken back the four fangblades!" Pythor slid the fourth into a holster with the other three.
"When we return them to the city of Ouroboros, together, we will unleash we great devourer!" Pythor announced.
The serpentine cheered louder.
"To the city of Ouroboros!" Pythor shouted and started for the exit.
"We spent so much time digging those underground fortress." A serpentine came up to Pythor.
"It'd be a shame not to use it a little bit more."
"At least let us celebrate in capturing the ninja." The venomari general said.
Skales slithered up to Pythor.
"Give them this victory, and tomorrow we will return the blades to Ouroboros." Skales told Pythor.
"Fine! I don't want anyone here to let down their guard you hear me?" Pythor leaned in. Skales nodded.

"Then tonight, we celebrate with a slither pit!" Pythor announced.
The serpentine created a ring and did one-on-one matches.
Up, in the cage, the ninja had nothing to do. Zane sat down and meditated, Morro examined the bars around them and concluded it was vengestone. Kai impatiently paced around the cage, while Jay and Cole played checkers with rockes and objects they had.
"Ugh. So all we can do is just wait? This is killing me!" Kai said.
"Patience. Lloyd will figure something out." Sensei turned to the fire ninja.
"We're putting all of our trust in the son of the greatest villain Ninjago's ever seen." Kai stated.
"Is anyone else having doubts about this plan?"
Kai walked over to the bars of the cage.
"Just because we don't have our weapons, doesn't mean that we can't use our powers." Kai reached his his hand out of the cage.
"That's where you're wrong. This isn't made out of any ordinary metal." Morro said.
"The chamber was built out of vengestone. Our elemental powers are rendered useless. Patience." Sensei said.
Kai sighed and walked over to Jay and Cole's game of checkers. Kai snatched a bottle of hair oil that Jay had put out for one of the pieces.
"Hey! That hair oil was just about to be kinged!" Jay said.
"Yeah? Well I'm just about to get us out of here." Kai opened the bottle and squirted some hair oil onto his hand. He when rubbed it all over his torso.
"Woah, grease ball! How 'bout warning us before you do that." Cole said.
"Make jokes all you want." Kai said.
"But I don't think we need our special powers to get out of here." Kai walked back to the bars of the cage.
"Just a little ingenuity!" Kai used the hair oil that he put on himself and slipped right through the bars.
"He made it!" Jay exclaimed.
"Look at that!" Zane said impressed.
"All right slickster! But now what?" Cole asked.
"Now? We quietly do a little ball and chain." Kai said grabbing the nearest hanging chain. Kai slid it in and out of the cage, weaving it around one of the bars. Kai then lowered himself down to the bottom of the hanging chain just above the fighting.
With the fights, the arena quickly changed to a pit of acid with small bridges for the fighters. On the chain, Kai pulled his body in different directions to get the chain swinging.
"It's working! Keep going!" Nya told Kai.
"Come on everyone! Let's see if we can throw our weight around!" Cole got up and ran back and forward. Jay and Zane got up to help, but Morro nervously walked to the ledge.
"Kai, this is a bad plan! Something just feel like this won't work out!" Morro whisper shouted at Kai. Kai, however, ignored and kept swinging. Pythor spotted Kai and slithered up the path.
"Next one and I got it!" Kai said. Kai used the next big swing to hop off and grab onto the ramp. Kai looked up and saw that Pythor had been waiting for him.

"Ah-ah-ah! Trying to escape are we?" Pythor said.
"Ahah! I bet this looks kinda bad doesn't it?" Kai said.
The next thing he new, Kai was back in the cage. This time, the were cuffed to the bars so the couldn't move around freely.
"Great! We're in such a better place now!" Cole said.
"Ugh. Why you ever listen to meeeee??" Morro sighed.
"And now we can't even play checkers." Zane said.
"I was gonna be kinged Kai!" Jay complained.
"Don't worry sensei." Nya said.
"I have faith in Lloyd!"
Outside of the mountain, Lloyd had been making nessessary jumps as he claimed up the mountain.
"Whoosh! Ninja roll! Flying drag-- woah!" Lloyd tripped over his gi and fell.
"Ninja recover!" Lloyd quickly got up.
Lloyd rolled down the ramp to the entrance and slid down the rope.
Kai looked up at the entrance.
"Hey! Look up there! It's Lloyd!" Kai announced to the others. Everyone looked up and saw Lloyd peeking over the edge of to ram leading down.
They all stood up, holding looks of hope.
"Come on Lloyd! You're the green ninja! You can do this!" Lloyd ran down the ramp, but easily tripped over a rock. The ninja's expressions turned to pity.
Lloyd tumbled his way down to the bottom of the fortress and past the crowd of serpentine. The place became quiet as Lloyd got back up to his feet.
"I really gotta grow into this thing." Lloyd sighed. Lloyd tuned his head.
"Well, if we don't meet again Pythor."
"He's..... Really bad at this." Morro whispered to the others.
"He's almost as bad as Kai trying to make up one liners!" Jay said.
"Unhand the ninja, or suffer humiliation against the green ninja!" Lloyd went on.
Pythor laughed, causing the other serpentine to laugh as well.
"Oh yeah?! You and what army?" Pythor shouted.
"Uh, how 'bout my army of fists!" Lloyd shouted as he punched the air, losing his balance. The serpentine laughed some more.
"Or this army!"
Everyone turned to see Lord Garmadon standing at the entry way with the skulkin army behind him.
"Dad!" Lloyd called out.
"Lloyd! You help me realize I do have a choice!" Garmadon said to his son.
"If there is anyone who is going to threaten Ninjago, it better well be me!" Garmadon announced.
"The skeleton army? Why would they fight beside you? You betrayed them and Samurai long ago!" Pythor stated.
"Because everybody hates snakes!" One skeleton said. The army behind laughed at that statement.
"Attack!" Pythor commanded.
"Attack!" The skeleton shouted back. The two army ran at each other and a battle commenced.
Pythor took the four fangblade and exited, but not before pulling a lever. The lever moved the chamber the ninja were in.
"Hey, we're moving!" Jay said.
"Yeah! The wrong way!" Cole shouted as the cage lowered closer to the acid below.
The ninja climbed up on the bars to avoid the acid as the cage lowered down and started to disintegrate.
"Lloyd!" Nya pointed out.
The found green ninja was rushing through the battle and reached the lever. He pulled it and the cuffs on the ninja came off. The bars lifted up and everyone flipped out of there.
The weapons and mech came down as well.
"Told you I'd save you!" Lloyd shouted.
"Way to go little bro!" Morro shouted.
"Go, ninja, go!" Kai said as he grabbed his sword.
"Ninja-go!!" The five ninja activated their spinjitzu and blazed through the fight.
Garmadon blocked Pythor's way and the two started clashing. Pythor turned away but ran into Cole while doing so. All the ninja turned around and pointed their weapons at the purple snake.
"Going somewhere?" Cole said as he pushed his scythe closer to Pythor.
Cole then took the four fangblades but then Pythor disappeared from the crowd.
"Where did he go?!" Cole looked around.
"Who cares? We have the fangblades! Let's get out of here!" Kai said.
The ninja, along with Garmadon, ran up towards the exit. The battle was left between the two armies as the ninja escaped.
With everyone on the bounty, the flying ship took off.
Lloyd walked into a room and saw his father packing.
"You're leaving?" Lloyd asked.
"Now that you are safe, and the ninja have the fangblades, there's nothing else I am need for." Garmadon said.
"I need you." Lloyd pleaded for him to stay. Garmadon turned his gaze away.
"I know you have to leave, but know this." Lloyd looked up.
"When we meet again, I'm gonna do everything I'm my power to defeat you."
Garmadon patted Lloyd on his head.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." Garmadon walked towards the door.
"Oh, and son? You're a good boy. Soon, you'll be a great man! Although we are now on opposite sides,I'm still very proud of you."
"Wait! I can get you one of Jay's gliders!" Lloyd tuned to the closet.
"You probably don't need it but it--" Lloyd turned back around. The room was empty. His father had left.
"--Might help..." Lloyd had a sad look on his face.
"So long dad."
In the bridge, the ninja were celebrating their victory. The fangblade lay on the table, while they lit up the room with bright colours.
Lloyd walked in the room.
"He left, didn't he?" Nya asked. Lloyd nodded.
"Hey, don't worry. Focused on the now! With out you, we wouldn't have won!" Morro walked up to Lloyd.
"Then have some Snogfruit Punch. Cole made it, and it's actually not bad. To Lloyd's dad!" Nya proposed a toast.
"Here, here!" The ninja said in response.
"To dad!" Lloyd raised his glass.
"Tomorrow, we arrive at Torchfire mountain to destroy these fangblades once and for all." Sensei announced.
"And it couldn't have been done without your father. I'm going to miss him." Sensei said.
The ninja raised their glasses again and had a good time laughing.
What they didn't know, is that Pythor had snuck onto the ship and was hiding.
"You're going to miss more than him when I get through you, ninja." Pythor laughed then disappeared again.

Touch
Touch is a story about a boy named James, and his friends: a group of young, superpowered people brought together by trauma; all trying, in their own ways, to come to terms with what that trauma means to them and who they want to be in response to it. This is a learning process, and mistakes are made, but they grow, learn, and adapt to these difficulties in ways that some might say only young people can. While it may look it at first, this is not intended as a sad story, merely an honest one. I wanted to make the characters human, and unfortunately, that means that difficulties hit them in very real ways through the story, but then again, they have some equally human moments of warmth between one another as they grow. Triggers: Explores the aftereffects and recovery process of sexual abuse, and some other forms of physical abuse. I like to think I avoided making it edgy, but you deserve to be informed. Some readers have told me that it can feel a bit too real at times. A bit too honest. If you like what you read, feel free to comment or review. I like the feedback. At his side: a wandering barbarian who teeters on the edge of savagery, a girl who would have a heart of gold if she didn’t pawn it off to the nearest fence, a wannabe knight who is absolutely overcompensating for something, and the last person in the universe who should be anywhere close to magic. But, as most mercenaries find, the right decisions are quite an expensive luxury, and the wrong ones happen to pay very well. Then again, what are the value of morals to a hungry wolf?
