The bounty was dark and quiet. It was early in the morning but still very dark, the sun wasn't up yet. Jay, Cole, Zane and Morro were on the deck.

There were decoys of serpentine and the ninja each knocked down a fair share of them.

Nya shined a bright light on the deck.

"Good training! Your powers are getting stronger." She said.

"But, where's kai?'

In another room, Kai found a green gi in a small cabinet. It was the gi of the green ninja.

Kai wore the green gi and shouted extatically.

"WHOOOOO-HOOOO!!!"

"Unlock fire! Uh, fire go! Shoot flames!" Kai spared with an invisible opponent in front of a mirror. He was hopping to unlock his true potential, as if this would help.

"Oh, come on! Everyone else can do it! So can you! Bring heat!!!" Kai shouted as he raised his fist in the air. Then kai herd laughter from behind him. He saw the other ninja's reflection.

"Very nice. Perhaps if you try "fire dork!" Maybe it might work." Cole said clapping.

"How long have you all been watching?!" Kai franticly took of the hood.

"The green ninja suit! That's so cool!" Jay exclaimed.

"Not. Cool. You aren't supposed to have that." Morro said.

"Well, I was looking for some kind of clue front Sensei then I found this." Kai explained.

"But you know, only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the green ninja." Zane said.

"And only he, should wear the green ninja outfit. So sensei would most likely be very--"

"I know, I know. But I thought if I just tried it on, it might help me see my true potential!" Kai said.

"Dude, it doesn't work that way. None of us have unlocked our true potential by wearing special clothes?" Morro stated.

"I get it. It's not fair that you all have cool powers and I still haven't." Kai said.

"Besides, sensei's gone and we don't know when he's coming back."

Then they herd a door slide open.

"Hello? I'm home!"

It was sensei Wu!

"Sensei!" Four of them rushed while kai panicked and struggled to take of the gi.

"Ah, its so good to be home." Sensei sighed.

"So glad you're back!" Zane said.

"Thank goodness you're safe." Morro sighed in relief.

"Did you bring us anything?" Cole asked excitedly.

"Oh sensei, have you missed a lot!" Jay started.

"Zane's a nindroid, Nya's the mysterious samurai, Cole's a dancer--"

"Zane is a... What?" Sensei cut Jay off.

"You've been gone for a while. We'll catch you up later. But you should know, all of us except for Kai have discovered our true potential." Zane informed.

"Have you now? Where is Kai?" Sensei asked.

"Here!" Kai shouted as he ran onto the deck.

"Right here. So glad you're back safe."

Just as Kai said that, Lord Garmadon emerged from behind Sensei Wu.

"AAH! SENSEI, LOOK OUT!" Kai shouted. He jumped up and drawled his sword. Zane jumped in front of sensei to protect him. Kai tried to slash Garmadon but he dogged it.

"Ah! He's got four arms!" Everyone watched Kai jumped up again to go for another attack. Kai pinned Garmadon to the ground.

"Urg! So we meet again!" Garmadon pushed back Kai a bit.

"He must have followed you sensei!" Kai shouted.

"YOU IDIOT!"

Morro grabbed Kai's collar and pulled him back, off of Garmadon. Kai was thrown onto the ground.

"What are you doing!?" Morro yelled.

"Uh... Attacking....?" Kai responded.

"Why do you think he's even here!?" Morro shouted again.

"To take the golden weapons!!" Kai responded.

"Yeah, but don't you think the situation his SON is in he would be here for a different reason!!?" Morro shouted louder.

"He is the reason I left! For so long as Pythor has Lloyd, he will be our guest." Sensei Wu said.

"We have to live with this guy?!" Cole exclaimed.

"But sensei, he has four arms!" Zane said.

"Uh, must I remind you, ever since he turned evil, he's been trying to get our golden weapons, just like Kai said!" Jay said.

"Enough!!" Sensei yelled.

"Yes sensei."

Kai got back up and joined the group.

Morro walked over to them and bonked them on their head with his fists.

"Ow!!"

"This isn't about the weapons, it's about my son!" Garmadon said getting up.

"I'm sorry for their very, very bad behavior." Morro said.

"I'll be sure to teach them manners. Be welcome here uncle."

"Wha-- ah-- uh..." The other four ninja stuttered.

"What? You need me to teach you how family works as well?" Morro glared at them.

"From here on out, you will obey me and you will respect must brother." Sensei Wu said.

"Yes sensei." They all bowed.

"Now to the bridge, we must pay our attention to more pressing natters." Sensei walked off.

As Garmadon followed, he grinned at Kai just before turning the corner. Kai glared at him angerly.

Morning arose and everyone was gathered in the bridge to discuss.

"So where are we at with the four fangblades?" Sensei asked.

"Oh, Pythor's managed to take the first two, but there's still two left!" Jay said.

"And we only need one in order to prevent him felon unleashing the great devourer." Cole said.

"Any luck finding their whereabouts?" Sensei asked.

"For as far as we know, their unlocatable." Morro said.

"But the falcon is programmed to alert us if he sees any suspicious activity." Zane said.

"Good. If we find the fangblade, we find Lloyd." Sensei said.

"Kai, Nya, Morro, prepare the deck and double check the anchor." Sensei instructed.

"We need to be ready when we first get word of activity."

"Yes, sensei." The three bowed.

"I have my eye on you." Kai said glaring at Garmadon. Kai bombed into the door frame when Nya had to pull him out. Kai peered back into the room when Morro hit him on the head again and dragged him out.

"Zane? You said the falcon was programmed?" Sensei asked.

Before Zane could say anything, Jay butted in.

"Haha, okay sensei, I don't know where to start!" Jay was gonna tell time everything.

On the deck, the three that were sent out prepared it.

"But Nya, did you see? He has four arms!" Kai said.

"Where ever sensei found him, he's now made it possible so that he can possess all four weapons at once! I don't trust him! Not one bit!"

"Do you meant me to keep hitting you so you get a concussion, or be able to fight when the time comes?" Morro asked pulling the sail ropes.

"You have to remember, he's not just the dark lord, he's also sensei's brother, Lloyd's dad, and Morro's uncle. Though he is pure evil, they child him close to their hearts." Nya said. Morro nodded with her statement.

"That's it!" Kai said.

"What?" The other two said.

"To unlock must power! Sensei said the heart is the key. Maybe if I stand up to Lord Garmadon, I'll find my true potential then everyone can see I'm the green ninja! Ha!" Kai flipped and swung a broom around like a sword.

"That is a terrible idea." Morro said.

"I don't quite follow your logic brother." Nya said.

"No time to explain, I have to go train!" Kai said sparing with the air.

"If I'm gonna confront Garmadon soon, I gotta be at the top of my game!" Kai said.

"But sensei said he's out guest!" Nya said.

"And with the situation out family is in right now, he won't be braking any trust." Morro added on.

"Garmadon might have fooled you, but don't think for a second I'm not keeping my eye on him. Guys, the Lord of darkness just became our roommate!" Kai said running off.

"How did you put up with him your whole life?" Morro asked Nya.

"Honestly, I didn't." Nya replied.

Through out the days Garmadon stayed with the ninja, there has been may differences with the way things are done. For example, he would brush his teeth with knives.

Or he would eat different things, like when the ninja are enjoying a nice cooked meal by Zane, Garmadon would eat a full plate of what looked like black sludge.

"What's he eating?" Cole leaned over to Kai who was still glaring at Garmadon.

"Condensed evil." The fire ninja said.

Also when Nya and Jay are watching a romance movie, Garmadon would change the channel to maybe fighting shows and laughed at the battles.

During a storm, Kai was behind the wheel, struggling to keep the bounty in one piece.

"Where's Garmadon?" Zane asked.

"Sun bathing." Kai pointed to the deck. There, Garmadon was laying face up on a beach towel, while the lighting flashed by.

At night, the ninja would try to sleep but be kept up with the sound and light of small bolts of electricity being toyed with in Garmadon's hands.

"Do you have to do that?! We're trying to sleep!" Kai shouted.

Garmadon had no response he just kept doing what he was doing.

Kai groaned and covered his face with his pillow.

One more day came and Kai, Cole, and Zane were watching Garmadon "play" videogames from the door way.

Morro approached to see what was going on.

"He's not even playing the game right! He's just shooting and destroying things!" Kai said.

"I've noticed when he isn't so focused on trying to turn Ninjago into his own image, he's actually quite fascinating." Zane said.

"Sure, the four arms are freakish, but all in all, he doesn't seem that bad of a guy." Cole said. They all turned to Morro.

"What? You want me to say something that I just realized about my uncle?" Morro crossed his arms.

"He might be pulling the wool over all of your eyes, but not mine. He's up to something. And I'm gonna be ready for it." Kai said. Morro sighed deeply them walked away.

The falcon has been flying everywhere, eventually, it came to a forrest and found serpentine on a path headed to the temple of fire. Also, they had Lloyd in a cage with them. The dude was being carried in a cage, with a metal rod that held him away.

The falcon projected it's findings onto the computer in the bridge.

"Garmadon, get ready to get Kai'd!" Kai stood on the table.

"Fiyaaaaaaaaa!!!" Kai yelled as he played an air guitar. He jumped up and fought an invisible opponent.

"This way, come come."

Kai herd sensei's voice echo. Kai jumped down the stairs and inched closer to where he herd sensei's voice.

"I have come to understand the mysterious samurai is no longer a mystery.

"Oh yeah, you heard about that. Guess I picked up a thing or two." Nya said.

Kai walked down the hall and peeked in a room to see Sensei standing before Nya with the golden weapons on a sheet with the green ninja gi.

"It was foolish of me to think that a girl could not be the destined green ninja." Sensei said.

"Nya's the green ninja?" Kai said.

"When the four weapons are laid out before the destined one, the weapons will react, revealing the identity of the Green Ninja." Sensei explained.

"But sensei..." Nya started.

"Approach the weapons." Sensei motioned for Nya to do so.

"What are you doing out here?"

Kai got startled and fell backwards. He saw that Garmadon was standing in the hall way.

"What are you doing out here?!" Kai responded sharply.

"Evil never sleeps." Garmadon approached Kai.

"Oh yeah? Well good never rests!" Kai said.

"Maybe we should take care if this right now." Garmadon neared Kai.

"I was hoping you'd say that." Kai narrowed his gaze. The two shoved each other around.

"Guys, guys, what are you doing out here?" Nya slid the door open.

"Perhaps you should be asking Mr. Snoopy Pants that question." Garmadon said referring to Kai.

"Kai, were you...? Spying on me?!" Nya asked.

"What?! No way! I was, uh... Keeping watch." Kai responded.

"So, are you the green ninja?"

"What? Of course not!" Nya said laughing a bit.

"So the weapons didn't tell you. Ah! That means I still have a chance!" Kai exclaimed.

"Truth is, she never wanted to know." Sensei Wu walked out of the room.

"At first, all I wanted was to be like you but, after seeing how obsessed you've become and discovered what I could do on my own, I'm happy being a Samurai." Nya said.

"So then who's the green ninja?" Kai asked.

"Perhaps we may never know." Sensei said.

Jay rushed into the hall.

"Kai! You were supposed to be in the bridge! Zane's falcon spotted them!" Jay informed. He ran off while the others followed.

"Looks like Pyhtor is at the temple of fire." Nya said examining the screen.

"That means the fangblade is there." Kai concluded.

"And Lloyd." Garmadon and Morro added.

"That's the same fire temple where Kai and Lord Garmadon first faced off!" Jay recalled.

"If my memory serves me correct, I'd say one of us cheated back when we last fought!" Kai glared at Garmadon.

"And I remember someone needing their sensei to save them." Garmadon called out.

"Guys! For the sake of the fangblade and Lloyd, can we please just get along?" Cole said from behind the wheel.

"Since the last time we've been there, it looks like the volcano has grown unstable." Nya pulled up live footage of the temple.

"That place is a powder keg just waiting to blow up. This will be a highly combustible environment." She finished.

"Oh great. Just what I like! Fighting armed and deadly snakes in a highly combustible environment about to blow up!" Jay shouted.

"We will do what we must." Sensei said.

"Yes sensei. But where are our weapons?" Zane asked.

"And why isn't Long Garmadon here either?!" Kai ran out of the room.

"Kai! Get back-- AAARRGG!!" Morro tried to stop kai but he left before anyone could say anything.
