A reminder that late assignments, even if only by a short amount of time, results in a strike and sitting out a round. The same goes for not posting your done comment before the deadline hits. The deadline is Weds 6 pm CST.

Also, when requesting a break, we need to know for how long you plan to go on break and the date/round in which you will return. You also need to contact your admin before your return date to let us know that plans have not changed and that you are ready to return. We will not hunt you down. If we don't hear from you, you will remain on break, and if said break exceeds the maximum of four weeks, you will be removed and have to reapply if you wish to.

We are now opening up to Idols that would like to get more feedback to join extra groups. This will mean reading more as well, so please keep that in mind. Please inform one of the founders if you'd like to join a second reading group, and let us know what book you'd like to use for the second reading group. (You will not have to read extra in the BOTW, just the usual one chapter, then your partners' books.)

As we said before, at this time of year we tend to either get a flood of new applications or lose a hefty chunk of our members. So far, it's been a bit of both. We've lost several members and have gotten a few new applications. That means we have to reevaluate who we think would work well together and move some of you around.

Of course, if you wish to move groups, we also offer that option as a prize you can cash your notes in for, though keep in mind you do not get to choose which group you move to. It's a gamble but we still do our best to place people in the best option available. That said, some groups may be closed until we get new members or we have people come back. So if you get moved around, just know it's only because we had no other choice. Make sure to pay attention to our reading groups and see if you've been temporarily moved.

Members, please remember you are free to leave the club at any time. We understand life gets busy, but please let us know that you want to leave and finish your assignment before you go out of courtesy to your fellow members. Ghosting has become a problem lately. If you ghost the club and want to come back when life slows down, your application will be denied. We normally happily accept members back, but ghosts will no longer be welcome. 🚫👻
