Also, when requesting a break, we need to know for how long you plan to go on break and the date/round in which you will return. You also need to contact your admin before your return date to let us know that plans have not changed and that you are ready to return. We will not hunt you down. If we don't hear from you, you will remain on break, and if said break exceeds the maximum of four weeks, you will be removed and have to reapply if you wish to.

Reading groups may and have changed. With schools opening back up for a lot of people, we tend to either get a flood of new applications or lose a heft chunk of our members. It can go either way and we want to do our best to place everyone in groups we believe they'd work well with, so changes might be necessary. Of course, if you wish to move groups, we also offer that option as a prize you can cash your notes in for, though keep in mind you do not get to choose which group you move to. It's a gamble but we still do our best to place people in the best option available. That said, some groups may be closed until we get new members or we have people come back. So if you get moved around, just know it's only because we had no other choice. Make sure to pay attention to our reading groups and see if you've been temporarily moved.

Before you freak out, this change is nothing big and shouldn't really impact any current members. We're simply doing away with our , and no longer forcing current and future members to join/be in our Discord server.

This means if you are a current member and don't want to be in Discord, you can choose to leave the server at any time.

But, due to this new policy, . Especially for those who choose not to take part in our Discord server. Us founders aren't logged into the club account enough for you to reach us within a timely matter on WP. Though this isn't really a change as all communication should go through your admin anyway or should at least go through them first. Though if there is a reason to reach out to a founder directly, you can either direct message our personal accounts or stay/join the Discord server where we are more easily reachable. That said, admins will also begin to send reminder messages through Wattpad each Monday to those who are not yet done with their assignments.

Our Jam-Board 2022 Awards have officially closed for submissions! Judging has already begun the round 1 results for genre-based categories should be ready at the beginning of next month. We wish all of you who entered good luck and a big thank you to those of you who volunteered to judge!
