Prologue
Few snowflakes were falling down and compressing into a pile of snow. A traces of footsteps marked the pile of snow followed by a pants and cries.
A young boy who looked like six years old pushed aside the people that were grouping around the foot of thousands of stairs up to the Yun Sect. The young boy was wearing an luxurious green robe filled with pure gold jewels with a golden dragon embroidery. A maid was following behind him as he tried to pass through the people around him.
After a few push and shove, the young boy was able to pass through the group of people but he was blasted by a blue barrier as soon as he tried to take a step on the thousands of stairs. The young boy stubbornly stood up again and tried to take another step but an old monk carried him and put him away to the blue barrier.
the young boy kept crying, trying to call his father who was inside the Yun Sect.
The monk stared at him in an apologetic look and only patted his head.
( Yun means cloud in chinese. )
the child cried again. He tried to approach the stairs stubbornly but the monk held on the back of his collar.
The maid had successfully passed through the groups of people and held onto the young child.
The young child pushed her away and yelled,
The maid glanced anxiously at the monk as if she was asking for help. The monk only sighed and crouched down on the young boy, a warm golden light emerged on the monk's fingertips and he tapped it on the young boy's forehead, making him turn drowsy and immediately fell into a deep sleep.
the maid said and cupped her hands with a bow then carried the young boy in her arms.
The monk smiled at her and replied,
the maid bowed once again before running back to their Manor.
"What is happening up there?"
"There's too much stench of blood..."
"Where are the three renowned cultivators? Why aren't they helping Yun Sect Master Shao Ling?"
"I heard that the Darling Of The Heaven's parents died and he cut ties with the Yong'an empire then traveled somewhere."
"What about Mount Hua Peak Master Lim Yuan? I heard he had a good relationship with Yun Sect Master Shao Ling?"

"The Mount Hua Peak Master Lim Yuan had gone crazy after learning the demonic cultivation arts! The others were trying to subdue him last time but their spiritual qi were only sucked and died."
"Heavens.... What is happening to the cultivation world now?!"
"What about Zan Lingyin? The Legendary Wanderer?!"
"I haven't heard about him for the past eight months..."
"Me too..."
"Yun Sect is done for...."
Inside the barrier and up to the thousands of stairs at the marvelous entrance of the Yun Sect, a heap of cold lifeless bodies laid on the ground and the marble floor of the Yun Sect was already bathed in blood. A sound of boots resonated throughout the Yun sect's disciplinary hall and a tall muscular man was seen, walking forward with bravery and elegance.
His ebony black hair was tied in a high neat ponytail and a few strands of his hair gently swayed from the winter breeze. He was wearing a white and blue robe layered by a black and gold belt and bottom. The snowflake rushed down to his soot black eyes that were big and sharp, to his thick brows, brushing down on the tip of his pointed nose and to his thin and slick lips.
Shao Ling didn't answered. He remained kneeling in front of the Yun Sect's disciplinary hall as a transparent blade with a slight glow of blue was penetrated on his pale skin deep inside his flesh. Mist of breath was escaping from his small and pale lips as he panted and trembled from the cold white snow on the ground.
His soot black eyes that is soft and round were looking lifeless and tired as his gaze lowered on the pile of snow, his brows were thin and neat and his lashes were thick and curled while his nose were slim and pointed.
The man snorted and took a few steps to shorten the distance of him and his master. His heavy boots made traces on the snow and the gold jewels on his robe made a low clinging sound.
Shao Ling remained to lower his gaze, trying to endure the pain of his flesh being pierced deeply as he shivered on the cold breeze of the winter season. His white and blue clothes were ripped and it looks like a fabric of rag that was clinging on to his skin to cover his cold body. Blood dripped down the corner of his mouth and he immediately swallowed another mouthful of blood that was about to gush out of his mouth again.

Suddenly, a cold big hand gripped Shao Ling's jaw and made him look up. His metal black eyes met his disciples penetrating gaze that made him shudder for some reason. His long loose midnight black hair that length down to his knees slightly brushed past his shoulders down to his thighs. His disciple spoke in a baritone voice once again.
Shan Ling lifted his gaze and met his disciple's bloodshot eyes that was full of hatred and loathe. His frail hands that was full of frost bites clenched tightly as he gathered courage to look at his disciple. Shao Ling opened his trembling lips and spoke.
His disciple, Lian Ren, let out a cold smile as he gazed down on Shao Ling.
Shao Ling didn't answered and only bit his lip to endure the pain of Lian Ren's sword that was pierced in his chest. Lian Ren roughly withdrew his hand on Shao Ling's jaw and stood up, gazing down at him like a tall mountain gazing down on a plains.
Lian Ren asked mockingly, referring to the heap of dead bodies all over the Yun Sect. Lian Ren let out loud sigh before talking,
Shao Ling opened his mouth to say something but his throat suddenly went dry that made him cough loudly. Lian Ren stared at him as he took out one bottle of water inside his dimension ring and drank a mouthful of water, he leaned over on Shao Ling and pressed his lips onto him roughly, as if he doesn't care if Shao Ling was hurting or not.
The water slid down on Shao Ling's throat, his hand that was still on the snow flinched. Shao Ling desperately accepted the water inside his mouth because of the thirst he was feeling, as if he hadn't drank water for a long time. Lian Ren withdrew his lips and let out a sneer,
Shao Ling begged, his other hand gripping tightly in the hem of Lian Ren's robe.
Lian Ren gazed down at him with a reply,
Shao Ling closed his eyes and pleaded.
Lian Ren ignored his plead and replied,
Shan Ling lowered his gaze and muttered a word,
Shao Ling yelped in pain when Lian Ren gripped his hair tightly, his head felt as if it was about to split open and the scalp of his hair felt like it would be pulled out. Shao Ling raised his trembling hands and gripped Lian Ren's hands that was grabbing on his hair, pleading him to stop.
Lian Ren roared as he gripped Shao Ling's hair even more.
Shao Ling swallowed the blood that was gushing out of his mouth and replied,
Lian Ren cut him off in disbelief, he leaned closer to Shao Ling's face and spoke.
a words came out of Shao Ling who was slowly trembling. Lian Ren paused and leaned even more closer to him, making their noses slightly brushed on each other.
Shao Ling muttered weakly.
An azure blue light radiated on Shao Ling's chest, slowly spreading wider and wider. Lian Ren's eyes widened and his other hand let out a blue demonic qi and pressed it tightly on Shao Ling's chest, stopping the azure blue light to spread even more.
Lian Ren roared.
However, the azure blue light continued to spread on Shao Ling's body. Lian Ren's brows knitted deeply as he treid to release more demonic qi to stop the self destruction. Lian Ren yelled.
Shao Ling's eyes was half open and the blood that he was swallowing repeatedly earlier is now streaming down on the corner of his mouth. In a blink of an eye, the whole Yun Sect was enveloped by an Azure Blue light and the crowd of people down the thousands of stairs stared in shock.
"What was that?!"
"Is it the Frost Demon?!"
"Master Shao Ling!"
"Where is the other Sects and Peaks?! Why are they not coming here?!"
"Why aren't they using the paper messenger?!"
"No one is coming!"
The monk clenched on his staff and proceeded to continue praying on his beads as he stared at the light that emitted at the Yun Sect, the monk then shook his head and sighed.
The monk turned around and slowly walked away. Finishing his prayer beads with a sad smile on his face, he muttered words as he continued to walk with a staff on his hand.
