"Are you okay?!" Li Jie was beyond scared when Delun's blood gushed out from his nose. Li Jie immediately grabbed a nearby cloth and stuffed it on Delun's bloody nose. Could it be that he didn't eat dinner last night? Or did he felt sick when Li Jie didn't know? Several questions filled his head as he prevented the blood from escaping.

"You should rest. You're sick." Li Jie grabbed Delun's hand and placed it from the cloth that was stuffed from his nose, preventing from falling off. However, Delun just smiled and said,

"No, this is just a normal reaction. I'm not sick at all!" This time, Delun's cute, silly wife throw suspicious stares at him. Li Jie doesn't know if he was an M or just plain sick. Who knows? Li Jie wasn't him.

As Li Jie got up from the tub, Delun stared at his wife's white and fair body. Delun was deeply attracted to the two pink beans on Li Jie's chest, his thoughts were running rampant on how he wanted to eat that pink beans. Delun's gaze trailed down from his beans down to his wife's dangling little birdie. For the love of God, he wanted to touch that little pet birdie that was dangling on Li Jie's lower half. If only, if only he could lick that thing, but his wife doesn't love him yet. Delun was drooling in frustration, his own birdie got hard. Really hard.

You know the feeling of staring at your favorite dish but can't eat it because you're on a diet? The feeling of your favorite chocolate was so close but can't grab it because you have a diabetes? This matter was PURELY! PAINFUL! TORTURE! Sending candles for Delun. A certain, innocent person was unaware of the wolf's hunger and was carelessly exposing his white and body from a certain, drooling wolf. Li Jie was wiping his body with a clean towel, his smooth skin touched the towel and felt the roughness of the clean cloth. Delun gulped as if he was running out of saliva. His exposed body had a tint of pink, as well as his face. Delun was having a hard time straining himself not to bleed his nose.

"Delun, you're not taking a bath?" Li Jie asked when he put on the pink hanfu that he coped to wear despite his hate on pink. Well, he can't contradict his husband's weird choices, saying that he looked beautiful wearing pink clothes.

Delun nodded slightly and reluctantly averted his gaze on his wife. He took a bath and got himself dressed. His clothes were plain black but his handsomeness couldn't hide despite wearing plain clothes.

Li Jie felt sour as he stared at his husband, then he thought why someone like him was not as manly as his husband. Instead, he looked like a fine, beautiful 'lady'.

"Let's go." Delun said as he grabbed his wife's hand. Li Jie was confused since Delun never mentioned him about going out.

"Where?"

"To the Capital." He said and got out of the room, together with his wife. Delun had imaginary flowers blooming all around him while Li Jie was having a plain confusion and even had imaginary question mark above his head. He was also wondering why Delun was happy.

'It's not like he's going on a date. But if it was so, with whom? His girlfriend? No no, since he's a cut-sleeve then it should be a boyfriend. And who is it!? And dare to bring me with him?!'

As Delun was swaying his wife's hand while holding it, the other had dark clouds hovering around his head. The other was happy because he was having a date with his wife, while the other was gloomy thinking about other things. They both had a unique way of thinking.

Since Li Jie didn't believed that his husband loved him yet, he was quite anxious as he thought those things. For him, it was simply impossible to be in love with someone else when he loved someone so much in the past. He was just afraid, afraid that when that person come to his life again, Delun might abandon him just like that.

Thinking about him made his heart hurt.

Luckily that his husband was too happy that he didn't noticed Li Jie's frown, Li Jie felt relieved in his heart.

Still, it was simply useless to think about it and Li Jie just enjoyed his husband's nagging for the meantime.

The two 'couple but not so couple' walked in the road of Xianyang. The people who saw these lovely couple would really say a match made in heaven. One was a tall and handsome figure wearing black, and the other one was dainty and beautiful wearing pink. The two held hands and was having a spring in the summer. The onlookers were extremely envious.

Since Delun is lowkey, no one have seen or familiar with his true face and Li Jie stayed on the manor all the time and rarely goes out, the people were wondering if they knew him or have seen him.

But for Delun, he was quite well known in the brothel. At least, Li Jie knows.

"Why are you so happy? It's not like it's my birthday nor your birthday. I don't think there is a festival. So, why do you have that wide smile? You almost ripped your face." Li Jie said as he rolled his eyes. Delun looked at his fierce wife and saw Li Jie's puffy face. He was just like a scornful cat.

"You're right by my side. That's why I'm happy." Delun said as he tightened his grip on Li Jie's hand. Delun's gaze felt warm on Li Jie's heart and at the same time it made him quivered.

"Tsk, you're just a sweet talker. Do you think I believed you?"

"Even if you don't believe me, i'll repeat and prove myself until you believe me." Li Jie raised his brows and feeling shy.

"Idiot..." Delun couldn't help but laugh at Li Jie's reaction and gave him a peck on Li Jie's cheeks. Li Jie's face went even red as a tomato.

The two walked until they reached the Capital. After that, Delun acted like a spoiled mother buying Li Jie with different stuffs. He bought dresses, hairpins, jade chopsticks (hair ornament), and cake powder.

He even let Li Jie tried all dresses that he caught interest but after he can't decide, he bought them all.

Li Jie wore a haggard expression while the other was beaming with joy. Before he was really going to die from exhaustion, Li Jie stopped his mother-husband and signalled him that he was hungry.

Delun was carrying all they bought without getting exhausted, showing that he was still lively making the wife feel helpless.

He asked himself, 'Am I really the wife?'

Not for a long while, Delun dragged his wilted wife to a restaurant. But as he passed to the brothel, Li Jie noticed that the girls in that brothel was trying to seduce Delun. Li Jie knew about him visiting in the brothel before and to his surprise, he was annoyed by it. Now, seeing these girls trying to get Delun's attention, he glared at Delun and stopped his tracks.

"Hey, tell me honestly. Why does this girls seemed to know you?" Delun flinched as he knew that those girls were looking at their direction. Delun silently looked Li Jie and saw the devil's smiling face. Delun gulped, he knew that Li Jie was in a bad mood.

"I don't know them."

Hearing that, Li Jie's smile grew even deeper. At this moment, Delun knew that he was screwed. But he did not give up and end up coaxing his wife. Delun may be a playboy in the past, but he has changed until he met his wife. His wife didn't believe him though.

"Li Jie please?!" Delun said as he had teary eyes as he looked at his wife.

'The hell? Is he a dog? No, is he a kid?'

"Let's just eat." Li Jie entered the restaurant first with a gloomy aura. Delun nearly cried because he thought he might screw it up.

Li Jie stuffed all the food that Delun ordered for him, including his food. Li Jie said that it was his punishment and Delun simply agreed to it. But it was Li Jie's excuse for he was very hungry.

After they ate, they explored the capital first and enjoyed the air of the city. Delun noticed Li Jie's mood getting better, he then lifted all his worries.

Delun's arms were numb because of the things he bought earlier. Li Jie insisted to carry half of the things but Delun refused, saying that it was too heavy for him to carry.

So, he had no choice but to see Delun suffer. Since Li Jie's arrival in this world, he have never explored the Capital since so many things have happened. He thought that he could relax but some certain, cruel person didn't let him so.

Delun was happy that his wife enjoyed the trip, even though his arms were suffering. But, all of the hindrance fade away when he saw Li Jie smile. It was as if Li Jie's happiness was his remedy. Curing all the impurities that lingered inside his chest.

He really felt happy.

When the sun was about to set, the two hired a carriage since they both exhausted themselves. As they both entered the carriage, Li Jie's vision seemed a bit blurry. It was as if it was knocked down twice and being circled around for 10 times. Li Jie scrunched his nose and rubbed his temples. It was painful but he managed to endure it since Delun was on his side.

Delun didn't noticed the other's discomfort due to the things that piled up on his sight. Li Jie sweated a bit and took a deep breath.

'What is happening? Why does it hurt so much?!' Li Jie's head was spiraling, as if he had ridden a rollercoaster. But as seconds passed, the dizziness he felt subsided.

'What was that just now?'

He just shrugged it off and thought that he was just exhausted.

After Delun sorted off thw things he bought for his wife, the two had their dinner. The dinner was happy, and Delun knew he made a progress. Even if it's just small, Delun was beyond happy about it. That means, he really need to work hard.

The two took a bath and wore their inner robes. Li Jie was snuggled by the certain wolf in bed and can't move.

"Delun."

"Hmm?"

"Nothing."

"Really?"

"Hmm."

Li Jie just wanted to ask, what it feels to be in love. And what it feels to be when the people in front of him were suffering.

Not long ago when they explored the Capital, many of the people seemed pitiful. Some were begging money on the street, others were maltreated. Just how cruel is this world? He thought.

Seeing Delun's smile earlier, does he have something on his mind? Or, is he hiding pain too? He was working too hard because the crisis seemed to worsen every single time. Yet, Delun still smiled when he saw him.

No matter how Delun said to him, he still just can't believe it. But at the same time, he wanted to believe.

Li Jie was different. He expressed his emotions very clearly. But Delun, or many other people, have many secrets that one wished he shouldn't know. Humans were complicated, as what the aliens have said. But, Li Jie wanted to understand.

But, he can't seemed to bring himself to ask Delun.

Li Jie looked at Delun. He never thought that Delun was asleep so easily. He must have been tired.

Li Jie doesn't understand his feelings. But he knew deep inside that he was happy when he felt Delun's presence.
