The sound of lightning flashed through Min Zhe's head, petrified of the General's sudden words towards him.

What?! Marry?! You?! Pei pei! What kind of beast that wants to take my younger brother?! As if!

"Guard 4? What is your answer?" The cold General looked at Min Zhe with expressionless eyes, as if wanting to scare the poor guard in front of him. In the end, the two would likely to compete from the staring contest. Min Zhe glared at the General, seems like the two were afraid to lose.

This ugly gorilla! Wanna steal my precious beautiful brother to us?! Who do you think he is?!

As Min Zhe prayed, someone did enter the from the General's office.

Lim Hao sir! You're my savior!

"You have to sign---oh."

Lim Hao seemed surprised as he saw Guard 4 talking to the General, but he was more surprised when he looked at him with those sparkling eyes. He them turned to the General and salute his farewell, annoyed.

After Min Zhe walked out of the General's office, he walked to his position again, half dead half alive. At the same time, he was so angry that he wanted to skin the General alive.

"Pei! Who do you think he is?! Did he eat shit that he lost his marbles!?" Min Zhe can't help but keep cursing the General. He was so furious about the fact that the General wanted his brother to be his concubine. "Oh. Damn peacock." Feng Delun raised his brow and grabbed the scroll of army affairs. It's still the typical strategy. He got bored about it then slumped it down.

"So, you've seen him these days?" Feng Delun asked as he remained looking at the scroll. Lim Hao on the other hand crossed his hands and giving the General a sassy look. He was still in distress with this General after being used as a spy instead of his assistant.

"He came in the manor 2 days ago and now."

"What?!"

"Do I need to repeat it?" Feng Delun glared at Lim Hao after he said the thing that made him wanted to come true. But, his 'faithful' assistant didn't even said a word to him.

"Don't blame me. I'm busy too." The truth is, Lim Hao just getting revenge at Feng Delun. He can't deny that the General is annoying sometimes. What can he do? He still can't defy his boss. Thus, excusing himself telling that he was busy seems to buy him a lot.

"Tch! You damn weasel!"

On the General's infirmary, Min Zhe's nose have been treated after he hit the pole with his poor nose. The doctor sighed and looked at Min Zhe hopelessly.

"What are you thinking that you hit your nose on the pole? You're the strongest guard here yet a mere pole took hit of your nose first. What a lucky pole!"

"Shut up. I'm stressed already." Min Zhe rubbed his temples and scrunched his nose. He still thinking about his brother's safety against the General. Now, it was clearly that the General was his enemy now.

"What's with that face?"

"Hey Hui Hua. The rumours about the runaway concubine, can you describe him for me? If you know..."

"Oh sure!" Hui Hua positioned himself on the chair and crossed his legs. He opened his fan and swayed it in the air as he started speaking.

"Well, actually, it was supposed to be the daughter of Minister Liu who should be betrothed to the General. However, Minister Liu seems unacceptable to send her daughter to the General to be his concubine so he ordered some men to look for beauties they encountered and will pay them large sums of silver." Hui Hua explained making Min Zhe shocked. He wondered where he looked up from this kind of imformation.

"And you know what? They did found a beauty! They said he is delicate, fair skinned and also his eyes, his eyes were unique! I even thought he was a Goddess but he was a man! No one could notice it of course! Well, this happened two days ago. He was sent off by the manor as instructed by the Minister to his men. Min Zhe's face darkened. Hearing these words made him convinced that Li Jie was the person he was talking about. But, he was more distracted of the latter. How did he obtain this kind of information?

"You seemed to know a lot."

"I am a good gossiper. I know what's happening inside this manor."

Somehow, the other seemed suspicious of Hui Hua. But he just shrugged it off and back thinking about his brother. He still can't leave the manor since he was on a duty. Maybe he could send a letter to his brother Chang Bao.

"Hui Hua, you have paper and ink? A brush as well."

Hui Hua slanted his head and handed the things he wanted, cluelessly.

Min Zhe wanted to explode hearing that Li Jie was really abducted by the scheming Minister Liu and made him wanted to behead him.

Just you wait, you old mutt.

Min Zhe quickly wrote a letter to send his oldest brother regarding this matter. He can't just sit and do nothing. His brother is in grave danger now. Not just the General who wanted him, but there are other people secretly wanted to abduct him. The veins running his forehead might be popped in a second, his blood boiled knowing that his brother is not safe anymore.

Now he blamed himself, he shouldn't have Li Jie came with him to the market that day. Not just he got lost, he got abducted and lost his memory too. How could he? Inside his head he was blaming himself over and over again.

Brother Chang,

It's urgent and I don't care if I interrupted you. But Li Jie's in danger right now. Please, don't leave him in the house with no one accompanying him. At least let him be with Cheung Chao or with you, or may be in the others. As long as he's not alone. I'm not reassured that he will be staying in the house alone right now. Min Zhe fold the paper to a scroll and looked at Hui Hua.

"What?"

"Do you have silver?"

"..." Even if I have one, I will not give you any!

Hui Hua looked away and averted Min Zhe's gaze. But to his surprised, Min Zhe didn't complain.

"Thank you for the silver. I'll be going now."

I didn't give him any...wait. What?! Where's my pocket!?

Hui Hua inspected his body and the pocket really disappeared! He looked and Min Zhe and there... The pocket is swaying on Min Zhe's hand.

"You thief!"

Min Zhe didn't care and hurried his steps. Right now, he looked like ninja hopping around roofs, hiding his face with a veil. He found himself a messenger and paid him with Hui Hua's money despite the other one wanted to cry because of someone who stole the precious money to him.
