"Li Jie! Are you hurt!? Are you harassed by someone!? Tell me and i'll make sure i'll turn that bastard into pieces!" Tu Fai cried out that made Jin Ping sigh. Though Jin Ping was always with his calm and cold demeanor, inside he was about to explode when he thought he would lost his younger brother. Now that he sees him, he was so happy and relieved that everything was okay.
Li Jie was still petrified as Tu Fai was hugging him and Jin Ping was with his sparkling eyes while staring at his lovely younger brother. You all know the sitation, they were all bro-cons. The two brothers were beyond happy as they found their precious younger brother, but they freaked out when they saw Li Jie whose eyes full of tears. Their cute little brother is crying! Who would not be angry woth this situation?!
"A-jie, please don't cry. We're here now." Jin Ping said as he hugged the crying Li Jie while patting Li Jie's back, same as Tu Fai. Li Jie sniffled as he cried for the first time in years. He missed his comrades, his fathers, and deeply heartbroken when he knows he hurt his fathers' heart. Tu Fai carried Li Jie in his arms and the trio went back to their cozy home.
*************
Li Jie arrived in their home a few hours ago. He was struggling of how he would act since the original owner was a feminine and innocent lovely flower, while the current Li Jie was, well, you know him well. He was as wild as a daunting lion.
And worst of all, he's bad at acting. He was a straightforward and cunning person. He doesn't mind to say anything he wants to say, maybe that's why he had so many enemies.
'Should i say i had a memory loss? But i remember anything about this owner's body. What should i do? Should i lie? Well, my personality isn't the same with the owner so i may have an advantage! I hope my lying skills would be effective here.'
Li Jie was in the balcony, sitting on the floor along with his brothers who stared intensely towards him. His eyes twitching and averting his gaze once he met one of their eyes. Li Jie felt nervous for the first time.
'What the hell are they thinking about? Their gazes wanted me to pluck their eyes.'
Li Jie kept his expressionless face, but no one could see how he was tensed inside.
"Brother, are you okay? Are you hurt?" Min Zhe asked, awfully guilty of his own mistake. Min Zhe could tell that all his brothers' eyes flared at his own existence making Min Zhe shudder.
Min Zhe's eyebrows twitched as he asked those. He looked at Lie Jie, who was clueless of what was happening inside. That was an act though. Li Jie knew it all.
'It's best to silence myself for now. I really don't what to respond.' Lie Jie thought to himself.
"Li Jie, come on! Talk to us! We won't know if you don't talk." Chang Bao pleaded, knitting his brows as he looked at Li Jie's frail body.
'Is he okay? Is he hungry? Why won't he talk?' Chang Bao talked to himself in his mind, worrying on Li Jie's behalf.
"I-i'm fine." Li Jie said coldly, making his brothers stunned.
'What's happening to our lovely brother?! Why is he so cold?! Is he angry?! Should I punish Min Zhe for him?' Chang Bao was aggravated. His brother's aura changed from lovely little flower to a cold winter snowflake. What is happening?

"Where am I? Who are you all?" Li Jie said, putting up a lying face.
"Li Jie, we're your brothers! Why can't you remember us?" Tu Fai said, this time. His eyes saddened and lips frowned. How can their lovely brother forget them? Is he having some sort of accident? Tu Fai can't help but to glare at Min Zhe, who keeps lowering his head redeeming his mistake.
"Sorry. Did i offend you?" Li Jie asked, making the room silenced. Jin Ping sighed at the situation as he rubbed his temples.
"No, no A-jie!" Jiang Hua spoke, making Le Jie smile faintly. Jiang Hua didn't care if he loses his memory. As long as he's safe, then it's alright.
"Now, now, Li Jie is a bit dirty. Let Li Jie take a bath first. Let the erupted volcano prepare dinner and Min Zhe? Prepare your brother's bath." Cheung Chao exclaimed. Chang Bao scoffed and head back to the kitchen and Min Zhe went out to fetch water for Li Jie's bath. Min Zhe looked like a lost puppy being scolded. It was his mistake after all, he doesn't mind getting scolded.
The sun was already battling the darkness so Jiang Hua, Jin Ping and Tu Fai went on some errands leaving Cheung Chao and Lie Jie behind. The two was sitting on the wooden floor, without making noise. Li Jie looked at Cheung Chao. He was indeed the younger version of Cheung Chao in the present. His features were somewhat feminine and skin as white as snow without any blemishes. His hair was somewhat black and the other strands had white hair. He was wearing a black colored robe and his hair reaches his waist.
'He was so young yet he had a white hair. Is that really white hair or it's just a highlight?' Li Jie lost in thoughts as he stared in Cheung Chao's hair. He was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't know that his hand unconsciously caressed his hair.
"Does Li Jie didi like my hair?" Cheung Chao asked, he then quickly backed his hand and rubbed his nape, smiling awkwardly.
"Hehe! Chao ge, how old are you?"
"..." Why? Do i look old?
Cheung Chao doesn't know if he should laugh or cry in his brother's question, thus he wouldn't mind since Li Jie loses his memory. However, he was quite an observant person. He could definitely tell that his brother wasn't his brother at all. Not that he meant 'not his brother', he's just wondering why his behavior is changing too.
Normally, the previous Li Jie would just smile innocently and cover his mouth as he speak. His movements were delicate and and it seems like he is a woman himself. However, the current Li Jie...how should he explain this?
He was rough, childish, cunning, and honest as well. He could easily depict that he rubbed his nape when he was feeling awkward. He was naughty and right now, Li Jie was rolling on the wooden floor as if that was a golden mattress. Li Jie was already cute when the time his memory is still stable, however, in his eyes, Li Jie was much more cuter right now. He can't even stay at the same place every second. He was either rolling, sitting with the other legs propped up and then walking leisurely.
"Li Jie calm down. Min Zhe will be arriving soon." Cheung Chao pleaded, making the outer pout as he shifted his gaze from the walking ants to his brother.

"..." Cute! Cheung Chao was amused at Li Jie's actions. He muffled a sound which makes Lie Jie pouted even more.
"Brother, there's nothing funny. Why are you muffling right there? You looked like constipated." Li Jie looked towards his brother. His head slanted as his eyebrows scrunched making the other laughed loudly.
"Nothing! Nothing! Ahh! A-zhe is here. Come, let's take a bath." Min Zhe carried the two buckets to the bathroom, placed it in the bath tub. He then put a lavender scented perfume on the water, the perfume spread across the room. The sweet scent of lavender stuck on Min Zhe's nose making him smile and soothing.
He then went to where Li Jie is and asked Cheung Chao.
"Brother, can i help Li Jie to his bath?"
"Hmm, sure. If Li Jie doesn't mind." Cheung Chao looked at Lie Jie. Li Jie nods telling that it was fine. Min Zhe smiled as he led Lie Jie to bath.
Li Jie took off his clothes, revealing his snowy skin and delicate body.
"The bath smells good. Did Zhe da ge prepare this by himself?" Li Jie asked as Min Zhe nods, showing off a faint smile. He then went into the water. The lavender scented water nudged at Lie Jie's fair skin. His whole image really looks like a bathing goddess.
"Then, let me wash your hair." Min Zhe offered. Li Jie didn't deny him so Min Zhe urged to let himself close to him so that he could rub his hair with soap.
The room was silent except for the dripping water on the tub as Li Jie squirming inside the tub. Min Zhe wshed his hair and scrubbed his back. Though Min Zhe noticed his brother's behavior is quite odd but he didn't mind since he had a memory loss---my ass.
"A-jie, are you angry at Zhe da ge?" Min Zhe asked, still feeling guilty of his mistake.
"No brother! I'm not mad at all. I don't know but i think i had a mistake as well. Not that i remembered it! I just feel it." Li Jie acted innocently, acting just like the previous owner. He even bragged himself for having such acting skills, but it was actually bad. Very very bad.
"Okay then. Don't be too naughty this time. It is dangerous to go outside. Not to mention your delicate body and your eyes. They are too precious. Someone may want to snatch you if you're too careless, well, i'm careless too but...i'm just saying that you should be careful okay?" Min Zhe warned Li Jie. Even though Li Jie wasn't thinking seriously about it, he still have to follow his brothers' care. Of course, he believed that they was his fathers in the future. He swore himself that he should protect them because in his heart and the previous soul's heart, they were special for him.
"Okay brother. I won't. By the way brother, did you make this lavender perfume?"
"No, Chao-ge made it. Believe me, he's so good at combining medicine and flower perfume! Look! He made it just recently! Isn't he cool?"
"Mn!" Li Jie replied cheerfully. 'As expected, their hobbies and work are the same. I knew it was Cheung Chao who made it but i'm just following the flow. Then, does Cheung Chao owned a pharmacy?'
"Then Zhe dage, what are all your occupations?"
"Cheung Chao owned a pharmacy in the capital, Jiang Hua is a doctor, Chang Bao is a royal guard, Jin Ping is a renowned scholar so he works at a bookstore, Tu Fai works at the armoury, and i worked at the General's place as a guard. Though i had 2 days off so i'm going off to duty tomorrow."
'General? Did he say General? It's not 'that' general right? Oh hell! I can't believe he worked from that ass penetrator!'
Min Zhe noticed that his brother's face went pale so he immediately rushed off to get a cloth for him to dry off the water.
"A-Jie, you have to get out from the water now or you'll catch a cold. Here." Min Zhe littered the towel to the younger's head that made the younger glared at the older. Min Zhe chuckled and dressed him the bath robe and Lie Jie went inside his bedroom. He opened his wardrobe and left dumbstruck.
'Is this my clothes? Why did they looked like...why...i'm not a girl!'
His clothes were all for women, some clothed had a pink chiffon fabric with peony embroidery, i mean all of the color of his robes were yellow, pink, baby blue and so many bright colors that only women wear.
'Don't tell me, this body is a femboy?' Li Jie cursed inwardly, why would he wear this kind of clothes? It's better if he had wear armor or a male hanfu. Goodness! His favorite color is black!
He sighed as he picked the simple white robe. After he dressed himself, he flopped into hos bed with no hesitation. He was tired and sleepy, he was hungry too. He got up first and went to the kitchen.
"A-Jie, you're here. Come let's eat." Chang Bao said, sitting in in front of the table. Li Jie looked at tge table and his heterochromia eyes sparkled, looking at the delicious meals in front of him.
Meat! Meat! Meat! And spicy too!'
Li Jie drooled as he ran towards his chair. He was about to stuff his hands with chicken meat but Chang Bao stopped him.
"Let's wait for your brothers, shall we?"
Li Jie wilted like a wilted sunflower, he eyed at the meat and his stomach rumbled.
"Brother, my stomach says he's hungry." Li Jie looked at his brother with his puppy heterochromia eyes.
"..." How can i resist his cute little face?!
"Fine fine. Eat now. Your brothers will join you later." Without further ado, Li Jie dived in like a hungry wolf, devouring his food placed on his plate. Chang Bao was struck.
Why did Li Jie turned into a wolf?! My cute innocent Lie Jie's nowhere to be seen!
Not too soon and his brothers arrived. They were quite stunned as they looked at the wolf Li Jie devouring food.
They chuckled and joined dinner too. After their dinner, Li Jie was tired so Tu Fai tucked him to bed.
Li Jie remembered how his father Tu tell him a story every time he sleeps. He missed those days and kept wondering what has he been doing now.
Tu Fai was about to leave the room when Li Jie grabbed the hem of the sleeves on Tu Fai's robes, making him to look back.
"Brother, I can't sleep. Can you tell ne a story?" Li Jie pleaded, and it was impossible for his brother to deny him so he sat beside Li Jie's bed and touched Li Jie's forehead.
"Okay, I'll tell you one."
Tu Fai tell him a story 'A Ballad of Mulan'. He was in the middle of the story when he heard Li Jie snoring. Tu Fai chuckled as he covered his body with a blanket, only his face was shown. Tu Fai leaned down and kissed his little brothers forehead.
'Good night brother.'

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

They wanted to taint it, corrupt it, revel in its dark side. This is the story of a boy who was tainted. Of a boy who unintentionally bore a seed of sin and who in his naivety let it out. This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.
