《Dark Lord》Chapter 13

A lady stepped down onto the ground. In her hand, she held a majestic sword. Her eyes looked coldly at everyone before her eyes landed on Jin. Her eyes immediately softened as tears formed.
(Not my picture. Credits to original poster.)
The palace guard was on his knee, the aura leaking out was far too strong.
As she walked closer to Jin, she stopped and lifted one hand. With that, the palace guard was thrown back.
Her eyes stopped as she looked at all the wounds on Jin. His face was pale and his breathing was too slow. His heart seemed like it had stopped beating. She kneeled down beside him, gently lifting him up.
Jin opened his eyes as he looked at the lady in front of him. He smiled, blood dripping down his chapped lips.
"You're here." His voice barely came out, and it could barely be heard, but she responded.
"I'm here, you stupid brother." She said, her voice cracked as tears threatened to fall.
"Look at how stupid you are. You've been gone for so long and this is what has happened to you? Why did you let them harm you?" She held him closer to her chest.
Putting one of his arms around her shoulders, she stood up, supporting him. As she turned to walk away, a loud shout rung out.
"Who are you?!"
She turned around, her cold eyes piercing Wu Luiyin.
These people. They were the cause of her brother's pain. They were the reason her brother was barely breathing. And now, they were trying to stop her from saving him!
An attack launched at her.
Wu Luiyin knew that the woman in front of him was strong, but she couldn't be stronger than him. Who was she to try and take a prisoner right in front of his eyes? He got up, launching an attack at her.
"Firestorm!"
The woman lifted her head, staring at these stupid people. They have walked this land and had always minded their own business, but this was how they were repaid like. They had harmed one of their people.

She smirked as she stared at the attack that was coming at her. With her hand, her sword stuck down the attack, sending it back to the one who dared to attack her.
"Deflect!"
Wu Luiyin fell back, coughing out blood.
"Stupid measly people! How dare you try to kill my brother! I and my people have done anything but try to take over your land, and this is what you did. Know well, people of Xianghou, if we want to take over this land, it would be easier than breathing. From this moment on, prepare for your doom."
Her voice echoed into the sky. Sending waves of terror to all that heard. A strong power could be sense.
The Emperor bowed down in shock, the Empress followed. They knew that the person was strong, even stronger than their son. Her threat wasn't baseless. They knew that from her power, she could easily wipe them away, but she didn't. She was waiting for the correct timing.
As she flew into the sky her voice was heard once again.
"Crown Prince Of Xianghou, I will await our meeting in two years. In those two years, make sure that you rise in your cultivation. Because I will not be the only one coming for revenge."
Jin took a final glance at Wu Luiyin before closing his eyes. It would've been better to never have met him.
In the time that they had been together, he had never once betrayed him. In the end, it was still him who lost.
The snow blew, more and more. The cold wind caressed one's face, wiping all warmth away. Snow fell, like broken hearts. The sun disappeared, hiding behind thick clouds. The scenery was only filled with dashes of white, beautiful flowers and the trees filled with different colored flowers has long died.
Only the cold feeling of emptiness remained.
The harsh betrayal of one's promise.
The sadness of a broken dream.
The lost of someone who was still alive is more painful to him than the lost of someone who was dead.
The warmth of summer has long been gone. Love was like the changes of season.

They had once made a promise, in the beautiful ending of Summer, awaiting the beginning of Autumn.
Now that Winter has arrived, only the cold winds remained.
Tears fell down his face as he got farther and farther away from him.
If I could go back, I would've chosen to never fall in love with you.
He closed his eyes, a teardrop falling.
On that first day of Winter, it was also the first day that the snow had arrived. The day that the cold wind blew the hardest. The day that hope was distinguished by a huge mistake. Where someone had lost a true love, gained another enemy, and the anger of those who shouldn't be provoked.
The ending of love, is something that can't be changed. It was written by the heavens themselves.

Kris Wu- Time Boils The Rain
(English translation)
Raindrops are blown onto flowers by the wind.
Flowing time cannot catch up with the galloping white horse.
The silly words written on your palms,
Do you still hold onto them tightly?
The clouds are rolling up and down in summer.
Tears are evaporated with the flowing of time.
All of us along the way,
Has one of us gotten lost along this rough journey?
We promised to not leave each other.
That we must always be together.
Even if we had to fight against time.
Even if the whole world had turned it's back against us.
Snowflakes are blown into shining pieces by the wind.
Our hairs are whitened because of it.
We said that we would venture into the world together.
Do you still remember all of it?
In that summer,
We made an infinitely big wish.
Hand in hand, we may form a boat,
Carrying us along the river of sadness.
You said that you would not part with me,
And that we would be together forever.
Now I want to ask you,
Were every word you said, just a kid's babble?
I did not have the heart to cheat you in our green days.
Neither did I betray you at our young and stupid ages.
Oh, the heavy snow,
You must not erase the traces of our past.
Oh, the heavy snow must not be able to erase,
The memories we have left to each other.
What date is it today?
The green grasses are thick.
The bright moon accompanies you a thousand miles.
She traveled towards a valley, hidden deep inside a forest, away from people.
The lady had finally arrived home. Setting on the ground, she immediately shouted. She could tell that Jin may not be able to make it alive. Right now, he was far too weak.
Even now she couldn't believe what had happened. Her name was Nangong Mowan, she was Nangong LuJin's older sister. Nangong LuJin, also known as Jin.
"Help!!!"
Not even seconds later, two men showed up, staring at Jin filled with shock, as they hurriedly carried him to a bedroom.
"Hurry, get the sect leader, his father here." The older man said.
He was Mo Ruwen, an elder at this sect.
(Mo Ruwen)
The younger male, his son, Mo Xutian, vanished, and when he appeared, another male was beside him.
(Mo Xutian)
He was the sect leader, Nangong Jiantang, Nangong LuJin's Father.
(Nangong Jiantang)
"What happened?" Nangong Jiantang said, checking his son's pulse, sensing that he was in a very vulnerable state.
His son was invincible throughout the five nations. Why was he harmed and in such a critical state? He shouldn't be able to be harmed at all.
"Father, now isn't the time for questions. I will answer them the best I can, but we have to save him quick." Nangong Mowan hurriedly said.
If they wasted time, they may lose him forever. If that happened, the kingdom of Xianghou would be buried with along him. On that day, bodies would piled and blood would run endlessly.
"Mo Ruwen and Mo Xutian, go and find the rest of the sect and tell them to come here right away." Jiantang said.
All the other members of the sect were on missions right now. Although he didn't wish to disturb them, this matter was important.

Reinventing the Struggle
The (sort of) original working title for this was "Reincarnated into a neo-feudal world of mecha knights, I will reinvent the panzerkampfwagen and mess up the social political order!" or something along those lines. And honestly that's a good enough synopsis given the nature of isekai titles. This story is unapologetic trash but at least it's the least cringe stuff I have written so far, so here it goes.
