《Dark Lord》Chapter 9

"What is the reason, that you have come and visit us, son?" The Emperor said, looking down at Wu Luiyin and Jin.
"Your son has come back with one request." Wu Luiyin stated, as he took a seat, dragging Jin with him.
"And what is that request?" The Emperor asked, amused that Wu Luiyin was taking his time instead of cutting right into the chase.
"I wish to take in a consort." Wu Luiyin said, stating clearly that he wanted to take in a consort and not a concubine. This meant that the certain someone must be in his heart, since most princes take in a concubine, a status lower than a consort.
"Who is the consort that you will be taking in, my son?" The Empress decided to take this process by quicker, knowing what he wanted to do.
"I wish to take Jin's hand in marriage." Wu Luiyin said as he grabbed Jin's hand and pushed him closer together.
Jin could only stare dumbly at Wu Luiyin. Did he hear correct? Him, as the consort? Why didn't Wu Luiyin decide to talk about this to him first, and instead just did it like this? Even so, Jin didn't refuse.
The Empress showed a smile, that wasn't mean looking. Instead, it was the look of a mother favoring a a consort that her son would be taking in.
The Empress totally supported this idea. This young man, named Jin she presumed, was just so likable. He was extremely attractive, had nice manner, and looked extremely kind too. She could already see that he had love filled in his eyes whenever he looked at Wu Luiyin.
"Ahh. Then we have to get a wedding date set up. How about the second day of the tenth month? Yes, that would be an excellent date for your marriage." The Empress excitedly rambled.

The Emperor could only stare as his wife started to think of many ideas without his help.
Jin was still shock. What was going on? He found out that he was suddenly going to be married four days from now on. Glaring at Wu Luiyin, he pinched Wu Luiyin's side. His calmness had disappeared.
Wu Luiyin jumped slightly from the pain he felt at his side. Turning to look, he saw Jin glaring at him, as Wu Luiyin tried to smile. Without missing a beat, he hurriedly grabbed Jin in a princess-hold and hurriedly walked back to their courtyard.
The Empress was still talking about the wedding, but when she turned to look at her son and his soon-to-be consort, they were already gone. She didn't mind. Merely shaking her head as she continued to plan their wedding for them.
"What?! You said that the Crown Prince is taking in a consort? Worst of all, a male consort?" Ru Lian angrily screamed at the maid, who was shaking in fear, by her side.
She threw the vase by her side onto the ground as she glared at the maid.
"I'm going to ruin that man. I wonder just how beautiful he looks, that the Crown Prince would fall for a man." She said as she looked outside. The expression on her face had turned ugly.
They couldn't ruin her plan. No matter what, that place rightfully belonged to her. Nobody can take it other than her. Nobody.
Jin was left, trying to get out of Wu Luiyin's hold as he was carried to his courtyard. When that didn't work, he started to punch Wu Luiyin's chest, only to earn a laugh from him. He, once again, glared at that man.
As they entered his courtyard, Wu Luiyin set him down on the bed before taking a seat by him.

"Are you mad?" Wu Luiyin asked, as his hands softly touched Jin's hair.
"Mad? Mind telling me why you never bothered to talk about this to me at all and instead announced it like that?" Jin said, not being able to stop that anger that flared in his eyes.
"Do you know that you look so cute when you're angry?" Wu Luiyin couldn't help speaking as he looked at Jin's face.
Jin's cheek had become a bright pink and his eyes were glowing with anger. His lips seemed as if they were pouting and Wu Luiyin couldn't help but speak about this.
"That's not what I'm talking to you about!" Jin said, as he pinched Wu Luiyin's thigh.
Wu Luiyin grimaced in pain before suddenly hugging Jin, making them fall down on the bed.
"Don't try to get out of it. You are now mine and only mine, and I will never be letting you go." Wu Luiyin said, as he nuzzled his nose against Jin's pale white neck.
Jin couldn't hide the blush on his face as he turned into a dark red. His ears also started to turn red, as he tried to turn his head away from Wu Luiyin.
Wu Luiyin chuckled lightly before turning Jin's face towards him. Then, he suddenly dipped his face towards Jin's, capturing Jin's lips. He lightly nibbled on Jin's lips, before running his tongue across Jin's soft lips.
Jin was shocked by what Wu Luiyin did, but when Wu Luiyin licked his lips, he unconsciously opened his mouth.
Wu Luiyin's tongue entered Jin's mouth as he licked every corner of Jin's mouth. When they finally separated, a string of saliva ran from Jin's mouth and Wu Luiyin's mouth. Jin tried to get some air as he breathed.
"Rest. I won't do anything to you, I promise." Wu Luiyin said, as he kissed Jin's head.
Jin closed his eyes, listening to the soft breathing of Wu Luiyin. He could feel Wu Luiyin's chest rising and falling every time he breathed.
He didn't know when, but he had already fell asleep faster than he had thought he would.
Wu Luiyin's hand softly caressed Jin's soft, long hair. Finally, he could hold him in his arms, without a care in the world.
Finally, he was by his side.

I was a webnovel junkie for a long time, but I found it hard to find novels with solid characters, decent plot, philosophical underpinnings and a fully painted world to keep me going. I've taken from every genre I've liked to make a story that satisfies my own cravings for a good story. If you like the story or have suggestions please leave a comment or review. I hope this novel is fun, provocative but above all fun. Enjoy. Yours truly, James Paul Addington PS I will release at least two chapters a week, or one really long chapter. Concerning the tags: The story is primarily Fantasy with Wuxia influence in some elements. Romance won't happen for the first two arcs or so (roughly 40 chapters), I want to build the world before I do that. Tragedy is because of an event that occurs in the book, not the tone of the book. The book is more lighthearted. Slice of Life doesn't occur till the third arc (the romance happens during that arc as well). Magic will also show up more in later arcs, but appears throughout. Reincarnation it's not a reincarnation like in the traditional sense, but it has a similar concept.
