《Dark Lord》Chapter 3

Forcing himself away from his thoughts, he looked at the sky.
It had been almost one week since Wu Luiyin had stepped into his house. He knew that Wu Luiyin would have to leave soon, and soon enough, everything will go back to normal.
Jin didn't know why, but maybe he had been gone for too long. He remembered that he had left his family at the age of 10 and lived in the wilderness. He had two older sister and a great father and mother. He also had his childhood friends and their parents that he was close too.
They were all well known, but they liked keeping their whereabouts a secret. Jin had chosen to leave to get a glimpse of the wilderness. Though he intended to stay only for a few years, 8 years had gone by in a blink of an eye.
He still was in contact with his family, they just hadn't seen each other during this period of time.
Pushing away his thoughts, he focused on one thing. Wu Luiyin had become somehow clingy these past few days. He was suppose to leave yesterday, but even after a whole day of trying to convince him to leave, he stayed stickier than trees in the ground.
He was beginning to have a headache.
He had already met Wu Luiyin before. This was probably when he was 15 and Wu Luiyin was 17. The same exact thing had happened, and he had clean up Wu Luiyin's wound, before dumping him back into the forest.
Jin already knew that Wu Luiyin didn't remember him, and he was intending to keep it this way. He couldn't let someone know about his secret.
He snapped out of thinking when he heard Wu Luiyin shout out his name.
"Jin!"
He turned towards the direction of the voice.

"What is it?" He questioned.
For a minute, Wu Luiyin was breathless. Even though he had saw Jin almost everyday, he still was awed by how Jin looked. He wasn't feminine, nor was he short. He was slim and had a slight muscular build and he was the same height as Wu Luiyin was. But something inside of him just made you want to continue looking.
Although he hated to say this, he had to.
"I will be leaving by the end of today." Wu Luiyin said.
He didn't want to leave, but he was a crown prince to his country. He had to go back to meet his parents and his wife, Ru Lian. No matter how hard he tried, his heart no longer started to beat faster at the thought of Ru Lian. The one who he had fallen in love with at the age of 17, when she had healed him.
Though he loved her, nothing felt like how it did with Jin. Now that Jin had entered his world, he no longer felt his love for Ru Lian. Everything seemed to had dimmed when he thought of her.
"En." Jin replied shortly, nodding his head.
Wu Luiyin's heart pulsed in pain by Jin's answer, but he knew that the man was clueless about his feelings toward him.
"During the time that I will be gone, would you miss me?" Wu Luiyin asked, even though, he may never come back.
"En. I would miss having someone to talk to, and it would take some time to get use to not having someone laying around in the house." This was Jin's honest answer.
Though he was quite smart, he was really dense when it came to love.
Hearing this answer, Wu Luiyin was able to smile a little.

This could be the last time they get to see each other, and this may not be. Whatever is decided, he still wanted the chance to see him once again.
The rest of the day continued as normal. When it was time for Wu Luiyin to leave, he stepped out of the house with Jin following behind.
"Goodbye, thank you so much for taking care of me during the time I was injured." Wu Luiyin's short but heart filling statement.
"Come back to see me once again after you leave." Jin said, with a smile on his face as he watched Wu Luiyin turn his back and walk away.
Wu Luiyin, who heard Jin, carried on with a hint of a smile on his face.
Jin watched as Wu Luiyin's figure disappeared from sight and entered back into his house.
After making sure that he was out of Jin's sight, only then did he use his power to fly. He didn't want Jin to see, because Jin didn't seem to have any cultivation power on him at all.
Within 2 hours, he had already hit the ground of Xianghou's palace.
The maids and eunuchs bowed at the sight of him.
"Greeting Crown Prince, Wu Luiyin."
Wu Luiyin nodded, indicating them to stand up.
After getting the signal, the maids and eunuchs scrambled off to finish their task.
Ru Lian had gotten the news almost immediately, and had walked as fast as possible to met Wu Luiyin. Ru Lian didn't have beauty that could cause a nation to fall. She was slightly above the average, although still lacking, when compared to Jin.
After 1 year of staying in the palace, she had learned all the rules and had also began cultivating. Right now, she was at Bronze level 9 and could break into Silver at anytime.
She walked, with a maid following behind her.
"Greeting Crown Prince." Ru Lian said, as she bowed down.
Seeing Ru Lian, Wu Luiyin felt almost no emotion. He only nodded his head before hurrying off towards his courtyard.
Ru Lian was still bowing, and in shock. Most of the time, Wu Luiyin wouldn't even let her knees touch the ground, but today, he didn't even bother to help her at all.
They had been separated for only a week, what had happened during that week to cause them to drift so far?
