Lu Chunxue started squirming and Lu Qianghuo covered his mouth to shut him up. Hong Jin tilted the hilt of his slim sword and stared at the old broke house from afar.

Liu Xiao screamed internally. GAAAHHHHH! WHAT DO I FUCKING DO?! SHOULD I RUN AWAY? BUT WHAT ABOUT TE KIDS?! I'M A BIG DUMBASS IF I LEFT THEM ALONE HERE! THEY'RE SO CUTE! I WON'T LET THEM DIE!

Liu Xiao kept chewing on his fingers and taking a quick glance at the broken opened window frequently. He glanced at the door that keeps swaying and creaking then glanced at the small hole uner the table that leads to another house.

Liu Xiao whispered.

While Liu Xiao was explaining their plan, Lu Qiangho was slowly knitting his brows and grimaced. Lu Qianghuo stared at him for a long time before slowly nodding and crawling to the table with Lu Chunxue in his arms. Liu Xiao smiled at him from behind and prasied his bravery silently.

Hong Jin shouted again, his arms holding the hilt of his sword in a battle stance and started walking forward the old broken house.

Before Hong Jin could destroy the house, a slender man shoter than him with a pale skin and a beautiful face walked out on the other side of the house. His soft pitch black eyes looking alarmed and calm at the same time and his both slender arms clenched tightly.

Hong Jin raised his brows,

The slender man didn't answered and only sealed his lips to shut himself. Hong Jin frowned and rasied his sword to point at him.

Liu Xiao cut him off. he demanded impatiently.

Hong Jin was staring at him with an astounded look and eventually withdrew his sword back to it's scabbard and snorted.

A red glowing snake went out of Hong Jin's dimensiog ring and the snake crawled aroung Liu Xiao and eventually stopped on his wrist to wrap itself on him tightly. Liu Xiao stared at the snake that was wrapping on him like a handcuffs and raised his eyes an slightly nodded. Wow, awesome.... a snake handcuffs...

No, the handcuffs are not the case here! If i can enter inside the black jade palace and get jailed from somewhere, i might found my way to escape eventually and come back for the kids and also see Wu Qingge and his whereabouts! It's killing two birds in one stone!

Hong Jin looked at him from head to toe before turning around.

Liu Xiao smiled from behind and started walking.

The corner of Liu Xiao's smiling lips twitched and tightly closed his eyes to stop himself from yelling in anger. Lu Qianghuo beside the old broken house was staring at Hong Jin with his bloodshot green eyes and a faint demonic qi was flowing out of his small palms. Lu Chunxue was behind him with a mixed expression of fear and anger.

Hong Jin took a quick glance at Liu Xiao and shifted his gaze back at the two children again. Lu Qianghuo was obviously trembling in fear but his bravery was overwhelming his body, making him took a step froward and bare his single fang at Hong Jin.

Lu Qianghuo shouted again.

Liu Xiao remained closing his eyes and slightly smiling but deep inside, he was crying and banging himself repeatedly. WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME?! I SAID WAIT FOR A WHILE AND I WILL BE BACK!!! I WASN'T MAKING IT SOUND LIKE I'M BIDDING MY FAREWELL JUST SO I CAN SURRENDER MYSELF TO DIE! WHY ARE KIDS SO STUBBORN?!

Hong Jin glanced at him and asked calmly,

Liu Xiao didn't answered and remained closing his eyes, he then abruptly opened them when he heard Hong Jin unsheated his sword and saw that the sword was pointed to the children's direction.

Seeing that Liu Xiao doesn't have a good answer that will come out of his mouth, Hong Jin raised his sword and was about to strike the two kids when Liu Xiao immediately shouted.

Hong Jin halted his sword and the two were dumbfounded. Liu Xiao heaved a breath before he started shouting again.

Hong Jin asked calmly again,

a loud sound of chains resonated throughout the dungeon deep inside the black jade palace.

Liu Xiao glanced at the two children beside him, the one was trembling and the other was calm. He then sighed and glanced at the surroundings to find a way to escape.

The whole dungeon was dark and it stinks with a stench of blood and a rotten flesh. Liu Xiao ripped the hem of his old robe and covered his nose, he also ripped more of his robe that made his pale slender thighs exposed and gave the two fabric to Lu Chunxue and Lu Qianghuo.

While watching the two kids cover their nose with an old fabric, Liu Xiao glanced at the sturdy stone wall of the dungeon. A small hole was embedded on the wall followed by a loud sounds of chains. Liu Xiao leaned closer to the wall and peeked on the small hole to see the other side.

His eyes widened. What the.... The demon folks?! Why are they here?! They're one of the demons who arranged the wedding all around the underworld kingdom! Why are they locked up here?!

The demons were all weak and malnourished. The others were only a pile of bones and a few of demons were eaten by their own kind because if starvation, their rotten flesh were all over the stone floor of the dungeon and the walls and floors were full of blood. Liu Xiao bit his lips and withdrew his eyes on the small hole with a frown. Just.....what is happening?

A one bread and two raw meats were served on the tray beside the iron bars. Liu Xiao grabbed the two raw meats and the blood stained his pale palms, he handed on Lu Chunxue and Lu Qianghuo with a smile.

The two glanced at him and nodded before accepting the raw meats and started munching on it. Liu Xiao glanced at the iron bars of the dungeon and swallowed hard, there were no guards or people guarding the place so escaping is abit hard to do.

Liu Xiao was only a mortal right now, if he was on his original body, he would've exploded the jail in no time and get out if the underworld realm but he had no strength right now. He felt frustrated on his weak body but he can't blame the body at the same time, he was lucky enough to be reincarnated again so he must accept it with gratitude and not complain.

Suddenly, a sound resonated again but this time, it was not the chains but a heavy steps of a boots. Liu Xiao suddenly thought of an idea and let out a sinister grin. A demon wearing a heavy silver armor halted in frokt of them, holding a tray of three bowls of water.

Lu Qianghuo was about to acceot the tray but Liu Xiao stopped him and leaned forward the iron bars Liu Xiao shove the tray away and the bowls of waters fell on the ground that left a soaking wet image.

The demon growled at him.

Liu Xiao gasped.

All of a sudden, the crescent moon mark on Liu Xiao's forehead radiated a glow again and the demon guard was blasted away, his unconscious body fell on the soaking wet floor.

Liu Xiao just recently figured out what gift Xin Yue had given to him. It was like a protection barrier that erase any objects or creatires that had killing intent, their strong killing intent will backfire to them and it will seem like a full counter skill because the killing intent will trike back to you in a double amount.

For example, the Lang Zai, the wolf that nearly ate him. Because the enormous midnight black wolf attacked him with his full killing intent, the barrier that Xin Yue gave him reacted and countered the killing intent with a doubled amount and bounced back to the wolf, blasting him away with a large force.

Hong Jin on the other hand is a different case, because some demons can hide their killing intent and attack with an empty bloodlust. Or maybe Hong Jin wasn't olanning on killing him in the first place and was only interrogating him. Liu Xiao grinned and reached his hand on the unconscious demon's belt to grab the key.

The iron bar was opened and Liu Xiao had successfully escaped the jail. With a victorious smile on his face, he glanced at the demon folks who were locked all over the separated jail. If he let them escape now, they would only wreak havoc and eat everyone, Liu Xiao took one last glance at them and shifted his gaze at Lu Chunxue and Lu Qianghuo.

Lu Qianghuo said while Lu Chunxue hid behind him.

Liu Xiao sighed and started explaining. After the three of them climbed up the dungeon, the two kids went to the separate way to find a empty room to hide. Liu Xiao started wandering his eyes at the surroundings while continued to walk bare footed. The cold black jade floor of the palace lingered on the arch of his feet.

The hallway was dark and quiet and the doors were tightly shut, there was no signs of guards and servants passing through the hallways and no sounds of gossips and giggles resonating throughout the cornes of the hall. Liu Xiao continued to cluelessly walk on the dark hallway. Because it was too dark, he could only walk forward, not knowing where he was going.

Liu Xiao bumped on a study thing. He raised his hand grope the thing the he bumped on and suddenly, his eyes widened and his body froze as he slowly lifted his gaze.

Even though it was too dark the red outside was showing the features of the person in front of him. The deep browm hair that was brushing down his shoulders, the sharp red eyes that was gazing down on him, the pointed nose and the thin wide lips that was slightly pursed.
