Lu Qianghuo raised his small hands to push the slick rectangular boulder, the boulder made a loud thud and a narrow passageway greeted their sight. Lu Qianghuo turned around and lifted his gaze at Liu Xiao who was staring at the narrow passageway with his mouth hanged open.
Liu Xiao immediately closed his mouth and cleared his throat.
Lu Qianghuo answered,
Liu Xiao's throat suddenly went dry that made him swallow hard, he stared at the narrow passageway and started to step forward.
Liu Xiao:
Lu Qianghuo:
Liu Xiao:
Lu Qianghuo:
Lu Chunxue:
Liu Xiao turned around with a frown and glanced back at them with his eyes raised.
Lu Chinxue hesitantly replied,
Liu Xiao frowned,
Lu Chinxue repeated,
Just what is happening?! I know that the underworld realm is in chaos right now but when did the demons gain a noble title? Wu Qingge, what have you been doing?!
Liu Xiao forced a smile and replied,
Lu Qianghuo:
The words he made pierced through Liu Xiao's head that made him cough blood inside his mind. His trembling mouth forced a smile and continued to speak,
Lu Chunxue tilted his head and spoke innocently,
Another words pierced through Liu Xiao's head again. The children's honesty made him lose his confidence on seeing Wu Qingge at this moment, but since he had come all the way inside the underworld realm, he might as well finish his goal.
Liu Xiao sighed and crossed his arms and gazed down at the two.
Lu Qianghio and Lu Chunxue:
The corner of Liu Xiao's mouth twitched. So you're coming all along! Why did you have to say those things to me?! Aahhhh! You brats! Your nasty attitude is staining your cute appearance! I will refine you after all of this are over!
The three of them walked through the narrow passageway, Lu Qianghuo was holding Liu Xiao's hand while Lu Chunxue was holding on to the other. Liu Xiao was grinning all the time as they passed through the narrow passageway down to the withered forest and to the other side of the cliff.
The gigantic black jade palace greeted their sight, but unlike three years ago where the underworld kingdom was full of red glowing lanterns and crowded demons who would always greet their king, the kingdom right now was filled with darkness and death. There was no signs of light, no people, it was just a dead silence that would definitely scare everyone on the spot.

Lu Chunxue hid behind Liu Xiao's sleeves while Lu Qianghuo remained beside him but his small hand was trembling and sweating. Liu Xiao took a deep breath before going inside the black gate of the kingdom. Since there was no guard and the kingdom was open, they were able to slip inside and trespass easily like a piece of cake.
The jade buildings were now empty and quiet, the red lanterns were nowhere to be seen as well as the demon folks who always sell things at the streets and talk about random things. The small kite that was tied on the roof was slightly fluttering and the bells on the other building that was hanged above the wooden door was making a low and gentle clinging sound.
Liu Xiao stared at the marble floor that ends up to the gigantic black jade palace from afar. Memories of their wedding materialized all over the quiet and empty place. The luxurious carpet, the delicious food, the demons who were cheering on both of them and Wu Qingge dressed in scarlet red robe as he waited for him to walk down the aisle and the demons staring at him in awe.
The unusual red blooming flower petals of the underworld realm that was scattered on the long golden carpet, his heavy wedding robe and his face covered in veil, how Wu Qingge lifted his veil and kissed him in front of the demons who were cheering on them wildly, everything materialized all over the place that made Liu Xiao bitter and his chest slightly tightened.
Even if he was clueless and the marriage was too sudden for him, deep inside his heart, it was still amazing and it made his stomach tingled as if he was so happy to the point that he could die.
Liu Xiao glanced down at his left hand, the black and purple wedding ring was already gone. He remembered that it was the only thing that saved Wu Qingge from the old palace master's grasp and made him wake up. Liu Xiao let out a small smile and continued to walk.
A loud roar followed by a weapons clashing on each other reverberated throughout the dark and quiet capital. Liu Xiao closed Lu Chunxue's mouth that was about to scream and pulled Lu Qianghuo inside an old broken house whose door was already opened. The two children were both trembling and panting beside him non stop.

Liu Xiao both patted their heads and whispered,
Liu Xiao:
The two were trembling in fear but they still managed to nod on his words. Liu Xiao smiled and ordered them to stay still at the corner while he tip toed and peek at the broken opened window.
A tall man with a blue skin and a ink black long hair was holding a halberd on his right hand. His pale white eyes were slanted and sharp, his brows were thick and his nose were pointed with a thick lips. His left arm was bleeding with a few scatches and a deep large cut.
On the other side, a man with a pale white skin and a fiery red unruly hair was holding a slim sword on his right hand. His golden eyes were straight and cold, his brows were thin and slick, his nose were round and sharp and his lips were thick and small.
All of a sudden the black haired man roared,
the red haired man yelled back.
Midnight Dew Pearl? Liu Xiao frowned. He once heard it from some Elder that the Midnight Dew Pearl was found deep down the ocean at the underwater volcano. It can pacify a person and quell their berserk state. The Midnight Dew Pearl was also good antidote for any types of poison butit was too hard to get so alchemists and cultivators could only rely by man made pills to ease themselves.
But when it comes to demons, the pills won't have an effect on them so they had no choice but to get a natural made spiritual materials from the four realms. Liu Xiao's eyes widened and his hand gripped tightly on the edge of the window. Could it be that Wu Qingge was getting berserk from tme to time?
Then what about the people on the capital? Don't tell me he.... Suddenly, the confidence that Liu Xiao had to meet Wu Qingge disappeared, if Wu Qingge won't be able to remember him and endup killing him for the second time, then the two children will be killed as well. Liu Xiao felt stupid fom letting the two come with him.
But if the two didn't come with him, they will also most likely killed by a hostile demons back at the plateau mountain and they will end up dying too. Liu Xiao felt like he was in a tight position and he didn't felt that the next decision he will made will make things messed up again. He remained peeking at the broken opened window while listening to the two.
the black haired man said.
The red haired man looked bewildered and he hesitantly replied,
The black haired man replied back,
The red haired man roared,
the black haired man said.
the red haired man——Hong Jin said.
The blue haired man——Lan Shuang looked at Hong Jin in disbelief and his right hand gipped tightly on his halberd. The two started clashing their weapons on each other again, venting their angers at each other in a fierce way. Swing after swing, clash after clash, wounds after wounds and breath after breath, they fought in a long time until the two of them were filled with their own blood.
But just bathing on their own blood is not enough to make them lie on the ground, lifeless and cold. Lan Shuang and Hong Jin rested their weapons on the obsidian ground to mainatin their balance while they catch their breath. Blood were dripping down on their black and gold luxurious robe down to their pitch black boots and the obsidian ground.
Lan Shuang said with a coaxing tone.
Hong Jin responded.
Lan Shuang pursed his lips and let out a low growl, his pale white eyes radiated a glow and the veins on his arms down to his hand slowly compressed and turned venous. The black blade of the halberd made a low shinging sound and reacted to Lan Shuang's anger.
Hong Jin remained calm and poised but his thin and slick brow were knitted tightly and his lipswre slightly pursed, as if he was restraning his anger inside of him.
Lan Shuang said calmly but his face was the opposite.
Hong Jin responded.
Lan Shuang snapped,
Suddenly a loud creak resonated on the quiet capital of the kingdom. Liu Xiao's eyes widened and glanced at the slghtly opnene door inside the place they were in that was slightly swaying and creaking.
Hong Jin suddenly spoke,
Liu Xiao bit his lips. Shit...
