Chapter 68 : Reincarnation Part 1
The sound of chirping birds clung onto Feng Xi's ears. For some reason, the sounds of birds were very close to him, his long eyelashes fluttered as he tried to open his eyes.
"Chirp, chirp..."
Feng Xi's eyes abruptly widened and shoved away the birds that were resting to his body.
Feng Xi wandered his eyes around the place. The trees were tall and thick while a few leaves fell down to the ground with a gentle sway. The bushes beside the trees slightly rustled from the wind that made Feng Xi's hair brush on his face——
This.....this is not what i think it is, right? This is not what i think it is!!!
Feng Xi repeatedly inhaled and exhaled and tried to calm himself, bunch of thoughts were wandering inside his mind that made him confused even more. I died! Why did i suddenly came back here?! I seriously died——i was stabbed many times by the protagonist!... Could it be because i slept?! Holy shit, do i need to stay awake all the time?! That's a big NO!
Feng Xi didn't know whose body he transmigrated from so he stood up and searched for a river. The forest looked so vast and it seems like it was locates in at the plains so Feng Xi thought that finding a river seems to be a hard task. However, he didn't give up and continued to search.... But what he found was a town. Feng Xi crouched and removed the dust on the sign and read the letters written on it.
Yumeng Town.
Feng Xi took a deep breath first before going into the entrance.
The town seems to be open for everyone and it seems like a good thing but also a bad thing. It was a good thing because there is no need for an inspection or go in a line of people that will definitely waste your time, but it was also a bad thing because Yumeng Town will be easily raided and suspicious outsiders might come in and make trouble.

Nevertheless, that was not Feng Xi's business so he proceeded to walk forward. He doesn't have a single peny right now and he didn't even know who he is or what happened after he died. Even though he looked calm on the outside, he was seriously freaking out inside his mind but freaking out won't solve anything so he set aside those thoughts.
An extravagant carriage with eight to ten guards were galloping forward, the coachman shoved the people in the road and repeatedly said "Make way". Feng Xi moved on to the side road and stared at the extravagant carriage, the red curtain was blocking the window so he can't see the person inside it, one of the guards noticed him and took a quick glance before turning away and proceeding to gallop forward.
Feng Xi murmured to himself as he stared at the carriage that was already far away.
Feng Xi turned around and he realized that he was resting on a Jiaozi stall and an old man chewing a wheat was staring at him. Feng Xi answered.
( Jiaozi is a chinese dumplings. They are common street foods filled with vegetables and meat. They are shaped like ancient gold ingots, which were believed to bring you good luck. They are often shallow fried or deep fried and eaten with a dip of soy vinegar sauce for flavour. )
The old man replied,
Feng Xi thought that this is a perfect opportunity to gather some information so he leaned on the wall and sat beside the old man.
The old man glanced at him with an amazed look.
Feng Xi raised his knees and rested his arms on top of it as he listened to the old man. Feng Xi silently nodded. Oh....so that's why there's so many nobles and carriages.
Old man:
Feng Xi's eyes raised.
The old man agreed to him with a grin.

Feng Xi:
The old man answered as he pointed at the southeast direction.
Feng Xi replied,
The old man smiled at him.
Feng Xi shook his head and replied,
The old man looked at him with a pitiful expression.
Feng Xi let out a wide smile and stood up to accept the Jiaozi.
The old man waved goodbye to him but also remembered something.
Feng Xi replied with a shout.
The two waved on each other with a wide smile on their faces. Feng Xi was always good in old people but can't handle young ones. Maybe it's because he was always with his grandparents at every family reunion and always listened to their bunch of nonsense boasting? Or maybe it's because he never had friends in his modern life so he was bad at socializing on people his age.
He started to walk straight at southeast direction with a stick of Jiaozi in his hand. His plain white thin robe fluttered from the wind and the trees rustled along with him. He was so focused on eating the Jiaozi when he didn't realized that he bumped someone. The two of them knocked each other and fell on the ground, the half eaten Jiaozi fell on the dirt and it wasn't able to be eaten anymore.
Feng Xi's eyes widened.
The person infront of him yelled with a soft voice but nasty words came out of his mouth.
Feng Xi was offended and replied back,
The person:
Feng Xi:
The person:
Feng Xi:
The person:
Feng Xi:
The person:
Feng Xi:
The person:
Feng Xi:
The person:
The person grabbed him by the face and stared intently at him. Because the sun was covering the person's face earlier, he can now see his features clearly. He was a beautiful man with a black and blue hair, thick but soft brows, long and curled lashes and his eyes were unusal dark violet with a soft round nose with a smooth colorless lips. The silver crescent moon accessories on his forehead had a crack and his expression was a little bit surprised.
Feng Xi arched his brows on him, the person infront of him kept staring at his face as if he had known him for a long time and was just assuring if it was really him. The person heaved a breath before speaking in a surprised tone,
Xiao?! I'm still in Liu Xiao's body?! But my body should have holes, right?! The stab holes!!! Feng Xi——Liu Xiao's arched brows turned into a frown and replied,
The person infront of him flinched a little before answering,
Liu Xiao:
The person:
Liu Xiao:
Xin Yue:
Liu Xiao:
Xin Yue:
Liu Xiao frowned in bewilderment but he still nodded, Xin Yue clapped and grinned and he rested his hand on Liu Xiao's shoulder.
Liu Xiao rolled his eyes.
Xin Yue was stunned and pushed him. After a few moments Xin Yue suddenly pulled him in again, sparkles are shown on his eyes.
Liu Xiao answered.
Xin Yue raised his slender fingers and tapped Liu Xiao's forehead. A white light radiated on his forehead for a moment and gradually disappeared.
Liu Xiao looked at him with a surprised expression.
Xin Yue arched his brows and crossed his arms with a reply. The accessories on his body made a low clinging sound. "
Liu Xiao was about to say a word but in the end his lips let out a sigh and his right hand went to stroke his head.
Xin Yue's expression changed into dejection and he suddenly ran to block him.
Liu Xiao glanced at him with a reply,

AI means Artificial Intelligence. But those words don't match Al, either of them. Neither Artificial, nor Intelligent. At least not at the beginning. No, an AI requires input, trial & error, and careful observation. But at that point, what makes it any different than human? How are binary choices any different than the choices in a human life. I wager that there is no difference. But what will he think?
8 102The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
8 179Reasons to Stay
Immortality has a cost, it differs from person to person. Some regret seeing their loved ones die, some regret they themselves cannot die, some regret the boredom and some regret nothing. This man regrets not having a choice, so after millions of years of getting shot, beheaded, beaten, stabbed and stoned he escaped from the world by hiding in a bunker with his books. He had studied all forms of science, he had lived history and created art, he was content with being alone with his mind until one day a man with a monocle appears, and he learns the truth. Hi! This is my second novel and I just had this idea when I was trying to sleep and my mind was making me re-live all those goddamn nightmares you don't want when it's 1 am and dark as shit, so I thought of happy things like the fantasy genre and my inevitable death and i'm like why not?
