Chapter 49 : The Sea Kings Of The Ocean Part 1

After the gods bestowed a mystical guardian to protect the ocean, they then happened to see a dead octopus, seahorse and a shark at the same time. The thought that the Sea Serpent would be lonely if it was the only one who will be protecting the ocean. They gave those three dead water creatures a power of their own, and pledge for loyalty to serve and stand by the Sea Serpent's side at all times.

It was only a story of an old cultivater who was travelling the world, he would often tell children from different town the same stories and the children's eyes would be sparkling with amazement and listening in awe to the old cultivator's story. The old cultivator named them the Sea King of the ocean until his own story that he often tell to people became a famous legend generation after generation.

But no one knew if the the Sea Kings of the ocean wer real. Countless nobles, who were curious to see the Sea Kings of the ocean sailed all over the sea in one year to find them, but only returned empty handed, their faces full of disappointment.

After the return of those nobles from the one year of sailing, they said that the legend of the Sea Kings of the ocean was nothing but a made up story of some coy passing cultivator to amaze the naive children on their youths.

The legend of the Sea Kings of the ocean then became a joke until it only appeared as a children story told by some story tellers to make a living.

But who would've thought that after a thousands of years, the Sea Kings of the ocean would appear before their sight. Bai Lan and Lan yang were stunned and stood frozen, Chen Yi and Shan Ling were dumbstruck and terrified at the same time while Liu Xiao's jaw were open and nearly dropping while staring wide eyed at the gigantic Sea Kings.

They were much more bigger than the golde dragon he and Wu Qingge fought, it was like a three imperial palace combined into one. A massive and terrifying sight, just a wave of the octopus' tentacle, they were slammed thirty miles apart.

Liu Xiao was certain that another wave of the octopus's tentacle will smash them to death like smashing a bug. They never showed up fot the past thousands of years....Yet why are they here?

Are they tainted with demonic energy? But i think not, instead it seems pure and clean... This is bad... Chen Yi and the others are now terrified to think about anything. Just imagine yourself inside the attack of titans! We are no Levi or Mikasa! These creatures doesn't even have a nape to begin with! How are we going to kill them?!

Chen Yi's plan was impressive, it had no errors and it was a perfect plan to begin with. The thing she was only terrified about is the Sea Serpent that will show up in the morning, but to think that the Sea Kings of the ocean was true, her clear mind and operating brain stopped responding, staring at the gigantic octopus that was wriggling it's tentacles from afar.

They were knocked back and if they start sailing again from the start, the octopus might attack them and the barrier wouldn't hold out. It's tentacles slipped from the barrier earlier but it made a large crack from above, and much worse is their spiritual qi is nearly drained from the fight earlier and they barely meditated to recover a few.

Chen Yi tried to calm herself from breathing in and out heavily, she gripped Shan Ling's trembling hand tightly beside her to calm her down and repeatedly muttered her soothing words to stop Shan Ling from being scared.

The gigantic octopus made a loud shriekig sound that startled them, after a moment, a gigantic green sea horse and a gigantic white shark that only showed it's eyes and fin stood beside it, looking terrifying and godly at the same time.

Bai Lan and Lan Yang was still frozen in the spot while looking at th almighty Sea Kings infront of them and Shan Ling couldn't take it anymore and sobbed while hugging Chen Yi who was trying to calm her down but she herself was extremely terrified but still remained calm.

Liu Xiao on the back cursed under his breath and was about to step forward the four when a heavy steps resonated at the ship. The four and Liu Xiao glancd at the person who is none other than Wu Qingge, his eyes a bit drowsy but his handsome radiating protagonist halo that was the cool and golden look still remained, looking unbothered while looking at the Sea Kings.

His deep but pleasant voice echoed through the quiet place,

HUH?! WHAT DOES HE MEAN----C-Could it be that Wu Qingge was waiting for the Sea Kings to show up? But why would he know about them.....O-Oh, haha...As expected of the protagonist. Even his knowledge is vast and peerless.

Liu Xiao said, his face bewildered ad his head slightly tilted.

Wu Qingge noticed that Liu Xio's knees were slightly trembling, he subconciously raised hs hand to cares the jewel on Liu Xiao's forehead, the jewel made a low clinging sound and twinkled as if it was happy t be touched. Liu Xiao raised his hazel eyes to him, like a sharp eyes of a beautiful swan staring down at Wu Qingge, looking fragile on the outside but can actually scare even a tiger inside.

Liu Xiao's slightly terrified expression gradually faded and his knees stopped trembling, it was as if every words that was coming from Wu Qingge's mouth was all true and comforting, like a beautiful poetry that you would never get tired of hearing.

Liu Xiao nodded and let Wu Qingge touch the jewel on his forehead because he was long used to it.

Wu Qingge let out a gentle smile before withdrewing his hand nd took a few steps froward the front of the ship. He glanced at the four who were either dumbstruck or terrified and spoke,

Tfour followed his order, they took a few steps back until they were at the end of the back of the ship. Wu Qingge slightly waved his hand and a four to six black and purple demon flames appeared.

Wu Qingge glanced at Liu Xiao and the others and spoke,

One of the black purple demon flames trnsformed into a small boat that can carry fix to six people. Chen Yi and the others glanced down the boat, then glanced at the demon fishes that was massacred by the other demon flames that had transformed into different types of weapons.

The four didn't asked a sngle question and tipped their feets to jump down the boat carefully. Liu Xiao as about to jump down but a pair of hand appeared in his rear sight, opened wide and reaching on him.

He glanced at Wu Qingge who was smiling while re reach out his hand to support him from jumping down. Liu xiao awkwardly smiled back and also held out his hand, as soon as his fingertips touches Wu Qingge's palms, a countless black and purple little wisps came out of his palm, slightly dancing happily around Liu Xiao and clinged to his body, lightly letting him float and put him down the boat gently, like a fragile glass that would break at a wrong touch and improper care.

The black and purple little wisps that were dancing around him turnedinto small lotuses and gradually disappeared like a fire being put out. Liu Xiao glanced up the ship but Wu Qingge was not there anymore, the black and purple ship shrunk and turned into a black lotus flower, swaying slightly while slowly floating up to level Wu Qingge who was floating mid air.

Chen Yi frowned,

Liu Xiao from the front sneered. Heh! There's no such thing as impossible for the one and only legendary handsome demon king and black lotus wielder protagonist! He's the best! The strongest! The most mighty! (*´∇｀*)

Wu Qingge stared at the three enormous Sea Kings with an unbothered expression, as if he looking at a worthless trash. He liften his hand and the black lotus flower landed on his palm gracefully. Without a word, the black lotus spreaded out into a smoke and turned into a delicate beautiful longsword.

It was a different sword that Wu Qingge always used even at the war that Dao Ling started. the black hilt was much more longer and thicker and a red dragon was carved into it's length, curled beautifully with a shining pearl on it's mouth, the blade was longer and thicker, a color of black and red mixed and glowing slightly and a bright red jewel was embeded i the edge of the hilt, shining and overflowing with spiritual qi.

It was most likely his sword from the underworld. God's weakness were demons and demons weakness is all. All different gods had divine spiritual nergy, it was much more purer and sacred, a very clean type of spiritual energy that can bring countless miracles like bringing back life from the dead.

But demons are different. The thing that matters to them is strength. If they have strength, then the would think that they can rule the world and trample on the weak. Demons are greedy and cruel creatures, intelect or non intelect, the thing that matters to them is strength and power.

The weakness of the Gods were demons because their divine spiritual can easily be stained easily, that's why they always stay in the heaven realm because mortal realm is filled with demonic energy everywhere and in single step from the mortal realm can make their pure sipiritual energy get sullied easily, like how a pure white clean robe can get sullied when you encountered a small amout of dust, the sullied part would most likely be very noticable.

The Sea Kings of the ocean had the power of gods that was gifted to them after they pledged loyalty so Wu Qingge's demonic sword is the most effective weapon to harm them easily because of their pure spiritual energies.

Wu Qingge became a fragment of a shadow in a flash and the thirty miles distance was suddenly shortened and Wu Qingge's smll figure was already on the giant octopus' tentacles. Wu Qingge threw the demonic sword and widened his palm on the sword's direction, opening his mouth to speak.

In a blink of an eye the small sword became much larger than the octopus's tentacles and with Wu Qingge's hand that was in a sliced down motion, the sword that became extremely large chopped down the octopus's tentacles easily, like cutting a smooth and tender tofu.

Being chopped i an unecpected way, the octopus shieked even more while it's other tentacles went to attack Wu Qingge from all direction. Wu Qingge's hand motioned again, and the gigantic sword moved on top of him in a flash, blocking all the tentales by it's blade and sliced them all into pieces.

A loud shriek came from the octopus again. the two silent Sea Kings which is the seahorse and the shark became alarmed at Wu Qingge but seeing that the octopus is looking wild and aggresive, the two Sea Kings didn't dare to make a move.

The octopus released an ocean blue spiritual qi outside, focusing on it's chopped tentacle but the tentacle wasn't able to heal anymore. The octopus paused and shifted it's body on Liu Xiao's direction.
