Chapter 14 : The Black Lotus Part 2

iu Xiao slowly woke up, his head throbbing and his throat dry. He looked up to the night sky and noticed that he's in a who-knows place.

'Oh my god what happened to me?! Did i get raped by that Lan Yang?! I can't remember anything!'

He agressively started to feel his body with his both hands and when he noticed nothing was weird, he let out a sigh of relief. He looked at the little wooden house that he was in, there was a small table with a candle lit, the ceiling is a little old but it was still sturdy and the cold breeze gently passed through the open window and door. Liu Xiao got up and he swayed a little because his body felt numb and weird, his hand rest onto the small table to maintain his balance and he sighed heavily.

Liu Xiao jumped on the table when he heard someone. He shifted his head on the figure at the door and saw Wu Qingge holding a newly cooked sparrow.

He cleared his throat and immediately fixed the tilted table and candle lit and pretended like nothing happened. Liu Xiao asked and looked around the wooden house.

(Shidi means Junior Brother in Chinese.)

Wu Qingge gazed at him and later on, he put down the newly cooked sparrow in the small table and stepped closer to Liu Xiao. Liu Xiao unconciously backed away and his slender back bumped on the wooden wall of the house. Wu Qingge stopped when he was a meter away from Liu Xiao, their breaths brushed away to each other and their nose were closely bumping. Liu Xiao let out an awkward smile while looking at Wu Qingge with a puzzled expression.

Wu Qingge mumbled. Liu Xiao raised his eyebrows and replied, He asked, his eyes narrowing.

Wu Qingge shook his head and backed away. Liu Xiao let out a sigh because he felt uncomfortable the whole time. Wu Qingge explained. Liu Xiao's confused face slowly disappeared.

Liu Xiao said. Wu Qingge remaimed standing infront of him, staring, like he wants to do something. Liu Xiao noticed him and raised his eyebrows,

Wu Qingge shook his head again and sat on the bed. Liu Xiao looked at the sparrow, he felt pity by looking at it's small body but he is hungry so he let that thought away. He sat on a chair infront of the small table and slowly chew the sparrow.

His chew became faster and faster as he savor the cooked food. Liu Xiao pointed at Wu Qingge. He praised. Wu Qingge let out a slight smile and replied,

Liu Xiao suddenly choked, he started coughing while hitting his chest. Wu Qingge ran outside to get some water and handed it to Liu Xiao. He immediately accepted the water and drank it. The stucked food on his throat slowly go down when it came contact to the water. As Liu Xiao finished drinking, he let out a breath of relief. He asked Wu Qingge.

The young man was just staring at him but his mouth slightly opened to answer,

Liu Xiao said. He finished the cooked sparrow and Wu Qingge handed him water for the second time. They left the small house and went down the mountain. No one dared to talk as they travel back to the Mount Hua Peak. Liu Xiao was just behind Wu Qingge while the young man walked forward with no hesitation, it was as if he knows his way back. Liu Xiao felt envious inside because he is basically lost if he ever tried to travel the cultivation world that's why he was always accompanied by a Mount Hua Peak's disciples or sometimes Chen Yi.

Liu Xiao called from the back. Wu Qingge suddenly stopped walking and turned at him with a gentle smile on his face.

Liu Xiao asked and ran beside him. Wu Qingge answered and started walking. Liu Xiao was beside him and started to ask again, Wu Qingge turned at him with a slight surprised expression. Wu Qingge asked. because you are the legendary descendant of the Former Mount Hua Peak Master! No one will be stronger than you of course! ╮(╯▽╰)╭

Wu Qingge's gentle smile widened. He asked Liu Xiao, his tone was a bit teasing and amused. Liu Xiao crossed his arms and hmped. Liu Xiao made a grabbing action with a weird face. Wu Qingge chuckled and found it adorable. He grabbed Liu Xiao's arms and pull it closer to him, his gentle smile still remained. Liu Xiao's weird acting stopped and shifted his head to Wu Qingge.

Wu Qingge smiled and said, Liu Xiao understood and unconsciously brushed himself closer to Wu Qingge. The young man was surprised and he wrapped his one arm around Liu Xiao's waist. Liu Xiao tilted his head and narrowed his eyebrows. What...his arms feels weird..

They traveled back to Mount Hua Peak with that position. Liu Xiao find Wu Qingge's hand on his waist uncomfortable at first but he get used to it in the end, in fact, he find Wu Qingge's arms comforting and he felt safe.

When they arrived at the Mount Hua Peak's entrance, an outer disciple whonwas guarding it was surprised when he saw the two.

Liu Xiao frowned when he heard it. Could it be that the Former Mount Hua Peak Master showed himself on the arena?! He turned at Wu Qingge's direction but the young man looked away, not planning to explain. Liu Xiao sighed and infused spiritual qi on his sword—Wait... Why didn't we do this earlier when we are traveling back?! I'm an idiot! I was so distracted! （¯口¯）

They flew on the very long stairs of Mount Hua Peak up to the main gate through the great hall. Wu Qingge was just following behind, not hopping on a sword and using his own spiritual qi to make himself float. As the three of them went nearer, a loud screaming and baming was heard echoing inside the great hall.

"Where is Wu Qingge! Why wont you show him to us, Master Mo Xian?!"

"How dare you shout here inside the Mount Hua Peak's great hall! Have you no shame?! You visit here unannounced and now you're yelling at the Mount Hua Peak Master?!" it was Tian Lang.

"Everyone calm down—"

"That figure who showed uo earlier was the Former Mount Hua Peak Master! Of course Master Mo Xian should take responsibulity and explain it to us!"

"No! You should hand out Wu Qingge and we'll ask him ourself!"

"Don't you think we don't know your true motives, you old geezers?! You just want him to hand out the Black Lotus Cultivation to you!"

"...Do not think of making weird thoughts! How could we cultivate demonic qi?!"

"Don't act pure i know you just want your name to go down in the book if history! You old geezers are disgusting!"

"Enough!" It was Mo Xian's voice. His gentle and soft voice that always sound pleasant and comforting was now full of coldness and authority.

A cold faint of spiritual qi flowed out of the great hall. After that, no sound was heard. Liu Xiao and the two silently landed in the hall and peek his head at the pillar of the hall. He did nit dare show up on the scary tension of grown ups.

On Mo Xian's body, was a beautiful color of Blue and Black spiritual qi flowing out. His gentle and serene demeanor was now dark and gloomy. He looks like he was about to kill someone. Liu Xiao felt surprised and amazed at the same time.

Isn't that the Frost Blue Lotus Flower spiritual qi?! It was mainly ice element and at the novel, It was the reason Mo Xian was known to the world of cultivation. He once saved a Frost Snow Heavenly Fox from being trapped in the Fiery Volcano because someone put the Fox there and make it perish. When Mo Xian put it back to it's original habitat, the fox gave him the Frost Blue Lotus Flower in return as a gratitude and Mo Xian cultivated it and rise up the rank into a Mount Hua Peak Master. Not until he experienced Qi Deviation and his cultuvation decreased. How sad. Master Mo Xian was truly a talent!

The black and blue spiritual qi flowing out of Mo Xian was spread all over the great hall. Liu Xiao's pale body becane reddish as the spiritual qi brushed onto him.

He saw Wu Qingge hold his hand and used his spiritual qi to warm it up. Liu Xiao was about to thank him when one of the elder spoke again,

Tian Lang scoffed. Mo Xian put his hand on Tian Lang shoulder to calm him down, Tian Lang looked away and fanned himself.

The black and blue spiritual qi slowly disappeared on Mo Xian's body. Mo Xian explained with his usual demeanor, gentle and serene.

The elders was speechless and couldn't say anything until one elder replied

Mo Xian remained silent for a bit and then answered, what the heck isn't Master supposed to banish Wu Qingge after he killed Liu Xiao and took Chen Yi?! Things are getting too fast and the originak plot becane messed up!

In the tension of the Peak Masters and elders, Wu Qingge slowly entered the great hall. His aura as the protagonist radiated and he calmly walked to the grown ups as his light blue fluttered in his every step.

He bravely looked to the Peak Masters and elders and said, The atmosphere suddenly became quiet and Mo Xian was speechless.
