The Emperor stood up. Everyone was at a loss and didn't know what to do.

They too were greatly perplexed at why General Marcia was willing to help Ana.

They needed to ask Marcia in order to figure the truth out. The Emperor ordered Priest Dean to continue as head of the Dragon Birth Festival and ordered the others to send Mia home to receive the best treatment. He left the battlefield with Lena then.

As a reward, the emperor had granted Marcia a palace in the Palace City. She hardly stayed there, but Lena and the emperor both assumed that Marcia would take Ana there first.

As expected, when they arrived at the palace, Marcia had already exited the chamber. It was obvious that she had exerted great effort to treat Ana, as sweat poured off her in torrents.

' Lena burst out, unable to hold her tongue any longer.

Marcia obviously thought highly of Ana.

' the emperor asked.

' Marcia said calmly.

If Ana hadn't been in a coma, she would definitely protested at Marcia 's remarks.

The Emperor and Lena looked at each other, surprised. They both thought that Marcia had something else to hide. They knew that if Marcia was unwilling to tell them, they would never find out. Besides, she had shown a great gesture of goodwill and kindness.

' Marcia nodded at them respectfully, and swiftly left. But, what the emperor and Lena didn't notice was that Marcia couldn't help but glance back at the chamber as she left.

The Emperor and Lena went into the chamber and saw that Ana was lying in a spacious bed surrounded by a few maids.

The emperor and Lena felt relieved at the sight of Ana sleeping safe and sound.

‘ Your Majesty, I will stay here to take good care of Amelia. The Dragon Birth Festival is still ongoing. You have left the battlefield for too long’, Lena respectfully reminded him.

‘ Very well. That's very kind of you’, the emperor nodded, sighing with relief.

‘ Your Majesty, you have said that...’ Lena murmured.

‘ Don't worry! I've been waiting for this day. It seems that she hasn't let me down’, the emperor said very contentedly before exiting the chamber.

‘ You can leave now. I will stay here to look after her’, Lena told the maids.

Meanwhile, in her coma, Ana witnessed several shocking images in her dreams.

She was on a boundless land that was covered by corpses. The blood had merged into streams. Among the dead bodies were both humans and spirit manipulated beasts. It seemed that Ana walked into a battlefield.

An afterglow brought by dusk was shining over the bloody battlefield.

It seemed as if doomsday had come. Instantly, the land was shrouded in a giant dark shadow. Ana looked up at the sky and saw an enormous black dragon whose big eyes were twinkling with evil light. With six strong wings, the dragon gave the momentum of the ruler of heaven and earth. However, it's dark and evil power could also make people tremble in fear.

‘ all of a sudden, the black dragon almost deafened Ana's ears with it's loud roar.

The next moment, Ana saw the black dragon come at her with it's mouth wide open. Everything happened so fast. It was about to devour her.

Ana opened her eyes abruptly and sat up on the bed as sweat dripped down her forehead. She was trying to catch her breath.

‘ Ana sighed out of relief when she realised that the black dragon wasn't real. All of a sudden, she felt something move beside her. As she looked down, she saw a women's body lying right before her eyes.

‘ Ana recognised the women.

Ana gradually recalled the things that happened before she passed out.

‘ Ana muttered to herself in spectaculation as she looked at Lena beside her gratefully.

Since Lena slept soundly, Ana didn't dare to disturb her. She covered Lena with the quilt and got out of bed.

Ana streched her body as her shirt got lifted up slightly and her toned stomach came into view.

She then walked out of the bedroom to take a breath of the fresh air. A woman's figure then leaped onto her vision.

‘ Ana called as she saw her.

Seeing Ana standing out of her bedroom, Mia stared at her and asked,‘

Ana smiled.

‘ Mia was stunned but she added ,‘

Ana was a little surprised.

Mia found that Ana was confused so she told her everything that happened after she passed out.

‘ Ana was astonished.

Then she looked at Mia with concern and asked,‘

Mia nodded as she blushed at Ana's concern for her injuries.

Mia then thought of something and asked Ana in a puzzled tone,‘

Ana was confused with Mia's words.

Mia made detailed inquiries as if she had been dying to ask for a while.

‘ Ana pretended not to know the reason.

‘ hearing Ana's lazy response, Mia was keenly aware of the fact that Ana was hiding something from her.

Ana smiled .

‘ at that time, a call came from behind.

Upon hearing that, Ana looked back and saw Lena standing behind her and Lena's clothes were a mess. It was quite misleading that as if something had happened between them.

Seeing that, Mia glared at Ana with murderous intent.

Scorched by Mia's eyes, Ana immediately turned around to explain to her ,‘

Embarrassed at the sight of Mia, Lena hurried to tidy her clothes.

‘ Mia said.

Lena nodded. It looked like she had realised the intention of the emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire. There fore, she instantly ordered a maid to prepare Ana a suit of ornate robe and dress her up.

Compared with what Ana looked like two months ago, she had changed a lot . When she put on the ornate robe, she had more intimidating appearance than she did before. Born with fine features, her face was more handsome and beautiful.

When Ana stood before Lena and Mia with her new image, they watched her with the utmost admiration.

‘ Mia said as she went out first .

Ana walked towards Lena and followed Mia.

They climbed the carriage waiting outside. It dashed forward the entire way. Shortly afterwards, they arrived at the Grand Dragon Hall.

Presently many people were gathered in the Grand Dragon Hall.

The Emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire sat on the glided throne at the top of the hall with Priest Dean standing beside him.

On both sides of the hall stood a lot of people. The first row were the royals of the Holy Dragon Empire led by Edgar.

Since Ana walked in, many royals focused thier eyes on her. Instead of being friendly, they held Ana in contempt with overwhelming arrogance.

As for Edgar, who always treated Ana as her enemy, he wrathfully glared at Ana as his face was sullen.

Not intimidated by Edgar's provocation, Ana wore a sneer on her face and stared into Edgar's eyes.

Apart from that the royals, everyone else in the hall were the ministers of military affairs. Thier eyes also rested on Ana as they whispered into one another's ear about her. All of them was astonished by Ana's performance in Dragon Birth Festival.

‘ Your Majesty, Amelia is here to show respect to you...’ on thier way to the Grand Holy Hall, Lena reminded Ana repeatedly about the etiquette so that Ana would Bow down to salute the emperor.

‘ You can get up’, the emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire waved his hand. He then asked Ana,‘ How are your wounds?’

‘ They have been healed’, Ana replied.

Satisfied, the emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire nodded . After that , he looked around the crowd and said,‘ I gather you all here to announce two things. But before that I would like to reward Amelia in the name of the Holy Dragon Empire. She saved us from the critical situation in the Dragon Birth Festival. And has lead us to victory. As the emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire, it's my duty to show her our gratitude’, finishing his words , the emperor nodded , signalling that he was done speaking.

A few moments later, several maids walked in holding a few plates. The crowd was stunned.

There were two very valuable yellow spiritual crystals, some precious spiritual medicines, and furthermore, a cloak which was exclusive to the elites among the royal spirit manipulators of the Holy Dragon Empire.

The cloak wasn't allowed to be given to just anybody. If Ana put on this cloak and walked out, everyone would show her utmost respect.

All people present there couldn't help but feel jealous towards Ana, especially the royals.

However, none of them dared to say a word against the emperor's decision.

Ana's eyes lit up, overwhelmed by all this priceless treasures.

‘ Next, I shall announce the first important thing....’ the eyes of the emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire ran down. After pausing for a moment, he said,‘ Given the extraordinary performance at the Dragon Birth Festival. So today , I decide to restore Amelia's identity as the princess of the Holy Dragon Empire’,

The Emperor's decision caught everyone by surprise.

Everyone was shocked.

More than everyone else, Edgar was unhappy with the emperor's decision.

‘ Father, I don't understand why you do this’, Edgar would not so readily agree to Ana's admission back into royalty.

If anything, Ana was a direct threat to Edgar's ascent to power.

‘ I stripped Amelia because she touched the Holy Dragon Bead without permission. But what she had done at the Dragon Birth Festival can make up for that fault. But the main reason for this is that she possesses the Holy Dragon Bead, which is the symbol of royalty . Since my predecessor inducted the Holy Dragon Bead into scared treasure of the Empire, only the heir to the throne can posses the bead. It's only that I have chosen my successor, so Amelia may not ascend to the throne. But she should enjoy the same privileges as the next ruler. So I have every reason to restore Amelia position again’, the emperor explained.

‘ Your Majesty, though you want to reinstate Amelia, you cannot announce it in haste. She was demoted for only two months. If she is entitled as a princess again, she will make the royal family look like a cavalier in the eyes of the people’, Priest Dean started to beat around the bush.

‘ Why would they think the royal family is made of jokers? Everyone has seen Amelia's excellent performance. I am sure people will appreciate having her back to her right ful position’, Lena disagreed. She hated people like Priest Dean who were quick on bandwagon of trying to mud sling Ana.

‘ I will never agree with you on bringing Amelia back’, Edgar was determined. As the apparent heir to the throne, he had some influence in the empire. Right now, he was hoping that the emperor would change his mind.

‘ Edgar, what gives you the authority to speak and decide for dad? Who are you to disagree?’ Ana was quite surprised herself by the decision of the emperor but when she saw a chance to humiliate Edgar why give it up?

‘ Who are you to talk to me!’ Edgar shouted back.

‘ I'm sorry. Didn't you hear what our dad said just now? I'm a princess again. So the only difference between you and me is age . But we are both royalty now . This is the fact you cannot change’, Ana grinned.

Edgar was so angry, he looked like he might burst a vein.

Seeing Edgar and Ana bickering the ministers didn't know how to stop them. They waited for the emperor to act.

‘ as they expected, the emperor immediately scolded Edgar.

Then with finality , the emperor declared,‘

Seeing there was no chance to change the decision, Edgar snorted as he gave Ana an angry stare.

‘ Lena muttered unhappily.

Ana on the other hand couldn't help but smile in triumph as she saw Edgar angrily storm out of the venue. It was a sweet feeling of revenge for Ana. But this was not enough for her. One day she would trample over Edgar.

The Emperor looked around, as if he was reading what people were thinking. Then he said,‘

Everyone looked at the emperor again, with eager anticipation.

‘ the emperor announced immediately.

Ana was also surprised.

Everyone in the hall was dumbfounded again. So far except for Edgar, none of the royal children had thier own wife.

And marrying Marcia also means

Ana will get the inheritance of the Ximen Clan based on the conditions of engagement. And as the largest Clan of the Holy Dragon Empire, the Ximen Clan was quite influential. It's power was beyond comparison. ‘ But what about Marcia's opinion on this? Shouldn't we ask her? It's about her life!’ suddenly Ana said.

‘ That matter is already settled. And About the details of the marriage I will further discuss with General Bryant’, the emperor ignored Ana's words.

‘ You head back first . I will come and see you later’, Lena whispered as she walked past Ana.

Ana had no other choice but leave the Grand Holy Hall with the maids.

A war beast rushed to Ana quickly, as soon as she stepped into her chambers.

She hadn't come back here for about two months.

‘ You're here!’ Ana looked happily at Ananta. She held it close and gently patted it's head.

‘ Look around! It's your new home now! You can sleep where ever you like’, Ana said to Ananta.

Ananta roared excitedly, as if in agreement. It ran towards the queen sized bed in the centre of the chamber and leaped onto it at once.

‘ Goodness, you're enjoying yourself very much!’ Ana smiled at Ananta. She then turned around and told the maids to put down the emperor's rewards as they were still holding them.

They followed her instructions and left the chamber after bowing.

‘ Finally, I've come back! I have really learnt a lot in these two months’, Ana smiled. She was proud of her success.

‘ It looks like you're proud of your success’ a charming voice said from inside the room.

Ana looked around the chamber in surprise. She had thought they were alone.

A charming figure appeared beside her . She looked at Ana with a proud expression on her beautiful face.

‘ General Beauty!?’ Ana was surprised. It was Marcia standing next to her.
