It was impossible for Ana who was at the first grade of Earthly stage to successfully take a hit from someone who was far more powerful than her. Everyone thought Ana had bitten more than she could chew.

Despite her admirable courage.

Lena grew worried as she saw Ana take a hit to protect Mia who had been wounded.

The Emperor who had always been calm and steady was a little bit unsettled.

Edgar looked as if he was deeply concerned but deep down he was celebrating and wished Ana to get killed by Erica which would get his one obstacle out of the picture for his desire to get the throne.

Just as everyone was worried about Ana. She was also embarking on a dangerous stage. Although she absorbed Erica's attack but it was too much for ana. It would overload her body causing it to explode.

‘ Amelia, you need to step out of the way...’ Mia had never thought that Ana, who was giving a hard time would jump in to save her.

Mia knew that Ana could no longer withstand the beating in her current state.

Ana was indeed trying to save Mia. She was not a person of cold blood.

Ana suddenly looked solemn as she took a deep breath and sped up the process of absorbing the strong spiritual power until she took it all inside of her body.

The overwhelming power disappeared right infront of every one 's eyes.

Everyone widened thier eyes as they saw Ana take the hit but didn't have a single scratch on her.

Everyone including the emperor, Felicia and Lena was astonished.

Even Erica froze for a second.

The audience was still marveling at the extraordinary scene yet none of them noticed that Ana was standing a little weird way. She looked extremely calm but there was a storm raging inside her body.

Erica looked surprised when she saw Ana withstand her attack but deep down she was angry as she couldn't handle the humiliation.

She was getting very close to losing her temper.

‘ Your Majesty, the way I see it. Let's just call it a day before it gets out of control ’, seeing Erica's face was turning seldom. Lena immediately suggested to the emperor.

‘ Preceptor Felicia, what do you think?’ although the emperor has made up his mind to end the match, he still out of politeness asked Felicia for her opinion.

‘ Since we have a clear victor, there is no need to continue the fight. And please forgive my disciple ’, Felicia responded. Erica acted very rashly and impulsively.

‘ Priest Dean...’ the emperor turned to the priest beside him after getting Felicia 's approval.

‘ I'm afraid it's too late now’, Priest Dean said suddenly as he glumly stared at the fighting site.

The situation had changed quite drastically while they were talking.

Hearing what Priest Dean said, both Felicia and the emperor immediately turned thier attention back on the fighting site and saw Erica coming up to Ana to give her a deadly blow, swiftly closing the distance between them .

Everyone watched the scene was at the edge of thier seats.

And would not be able to dodge the attack in time and it looked like she did not plan on dodging.

‘ What the hell is she thinking? Does she wants to die here?’ Marcia was confused by Ana's behaviour. She rushed towards the fighting site.

‘ Get away, Amelia!’ Mia tried her best to stand up. She wanted to push Ana away.

Erica gathered a strong thunder spiritual power in her palm. As she raised the gathered power which was strong enough to kill Ana and launched it towards her.

Ana then did something unexpected that shocked everyone. She rushed towards Erica and faced her attack head on. She raised her left arm and used it to block the palm.

Erica did not expect that Ana would dare to rush towards her and block her attack. But she immediately smiled coldly as she realised it would be easier for her to kill Ana now.

She directly hit the dragon spirit mark on Ana's left arm without any hesitation.

‘ Am I too late?’ Marcia muttered as she arrived behind Ana just when Erica had smacked Ana. Although Marcia was powerful, she had no time to block the Erica's attack.

‘ General Marcia...’ Mia was surprised to see Marcia appear on the fighting site. She wondered why Marcia suddenly showed up.

Erica was certain that Ana would be badly damaged. However to her surprise, the moment her palm hit Ana's spirit mark, her attack was gone.

It was as if the power was being absorbed from her by something.

It was Ana who was absorbing Erica's power. But her body began to overload with too much power. Her face grew paler and paler.

‘ The wages of sin is death! I will give back to you what you have just sent me!’ Ana raised her left hand and aimed it towards Erica who was standing still dumbfounded as to why Ana was not harmed by her power.

Ana let out a loud roar and Erica sensed that something was wrong.

In a blink of an eye, the same attack that appeared in Erica's palm was now flickering on Ana's palm. It burst and rushed out towards Erica.

‘ This is impossible...’ Erica's eyes widened in disbelief.

Even though Erica had gathered all her spiritual power to block Ana's attack, it was not enough.

Erica screamed aloud as the strong power blew her into the air. However she steadied herself using her power a landed gracefully on the ground.

Her clothes had been torn by the intense impact, leaving her quite embarrassed.

Ana was not able to stand anymore and eventually knelt to the ground on one knee, panting and out of breath, sweat dripping from her face. She looked as if she was in great pain.

‘ Damn it!’ Erica exclaimed. The impact also left her bleeding.

‘ You want to fight me like that? Looks like you don't mind others appreciating your body’, Ana said with a sly smile.

At Ana's words, Erica glanced around at all the people and saw them staring lecherously at her body.

‘ I will make you pay for this one day!’ Erica vowed then immediately disappeared.

Being that Erica had left and Ana was still standing on the fighting site , she was technically the winner of the fight. Wounded, yes, but she was still on the site nonetheless.

All of a sudden, the crowd on the square erupted into a loud round of cheers at Ana's victory.

Felicia had never expected that her top disciple would be defeated by Ana who was weaker that she was.

‘ I'm sorry, Your Majesty. I have something important to do. I have to leave now ’, she then immediately left with other Phoenix spirit manipulators.

‘ Ha ha ! The Magic Phoenix Empire really lost its face this time’ the emperor of the Holy Dragon Empire laughed to himself as he saw Felicia leave in such a haste.

People began chanting Ana's name.

‘ How? How did she defeat Erica?’ Edgar fumed as he left angrily left after giving Ana a pissed off look.

Amidst the cheers ringing out for Ana, she suddenly fell hard on the ground. It was apparent that she had been hurt very badly.

Everyone grew quiet grew quiet concerned at the sight of her losing concious.

‘ Amelia!’ Mia shouted out at once. Before she could even make a move. Marcia had already run forward towards Ana.

‘ Amelia, well done!’ Marcia said as she immediately took out a bottle of the magical saliva and made Ana drink it.

After wards she picked up Ana in her arms infront of the whole crowd and told Mia,‘ Please tell His Majesty that i will bring her with me to treat her right now’, Mia nodded in agreement. Marcia then left the battlefield with Ana in her arms.

Chaos broke out at once.

‘ I can't believe my eyes. Is it really General Marcia?’

‘ You're right!’

‘ Perhaps General Marcia does have feelings for her fiance, Amelia’

Heated discussion broke out. Speculations broke out about all the possibilities of thier relationship.

The Emperor stood gazing at the direction they went. Everyone was at a loss for words and didn't know what just happened.
