After Priest Dean left, Lena led Ana to the bed and helped her to sit down. While she was talking to her , a girl dressed like a servant walked into the room .

This girl bowed respectfully to Lena and said, ‘

Lena nodded as she waved the servant away . She turned to Ana and said ‘Amelia, just stay here and have rest . Don't run away ! Remember that? I'll come back soon’.

‘Okay’ Ana answered.

After Lena left the room, Ana sat on the bed for a while. She was lost in her thoughts . There was too much new information for her to process. Although she had confirmed that she was a princess, she still found it hard to believe! She could not help but rub her temples to soothe a raging headache. She was also wondering about the so-called spiritual method which Priest Dean and Lena mentioned in thier previous conversation. What did it mean? Ana sighed and stood up and walked out of the room .

There was a long corridor outside, at the end of which a ray of dazzling light was sparkling.

Ana walked to the source of light slowly. As she got closer, the light gradually grew brighter . When she reached the corridor 's end , she was greeted with a warm breez and sight of sunshine filling acres of land. What she saw next totally stunned her .

Every building she saw around her was towering and sumptuous. She was in a majestic imperial palace, and she now stood in the dome of a grand mansion. Next to her was a helix stairway, streching down to the darkness.

As her eyes followed it downwards, she was greeted with a scenic picture. A wide moat encircled the palace, glistening under the sun . Across the moat , numerous houses were scattered as far she could see. From a distance, she could see the houses lined and streched like a fan. There were thousand of figures as small as black dots walking on the passages between those houses.

All of a sudden, the sunlight over Ana was gone. She looked up in confusion and exclaimed in shock, ‘

A colossal creature was flying over her head . A pair of large wings , dozens of meter wide , swooped in perfect arcs over the sky. It's giant body cast a vast shadow over the dome. The shape of it's head looked like a crocodile, with two sharp and long teeth sticking out of it's mouth. Smoke kept spurting out of it's huge nostrils.

‘ What popped into Ana's mind first was the image of a creature living in prehistoric times. It shared many characteristics . ‘

Ana almost jumped out of her skin as she noticed that a human was sitting on the creature, who was riding it like an experienced pilot. Under the Rider's direction, the flying monster brought a perfect and breathtaking performance of aerial - acrobatics .

Before Ana could recover from the shock , the flying monster took a sudden turn and rushed towards her.

Ana turned pale and widened her eyes as she saw the monster flying towards her. The four sharp claws of the monster seemed to be able to tear apart anything easily, frightening Ana to the core. She stepped back instinctively but tripped and fell to the floor . There was nothing she could do but watch the scary monster reaching out it's sharp claws to her.

‘ Ana thought to herself .

When it's sharp nails were only an inch close to her face , Ana's head went blank. But the monster flew past her right away , a strong wind blowing by her face. Lying on the floor, Ana was gasping for air to calm herself down.

‘ Ana cursed loudly after she collected herself. She then stood up and turned to look at the flying monster, which had landed on the platform behind her. The rider jumped off spritely .

Ana was not a wuss, she would never stand such a humiliation. She walked to the platform angrily , but she froze for a while when she saw the Rider's delicate features. What a pretty face! But from the way that person dressed , it seemed he was a boy! And his chest was flat so Ana assumed that the rider was a boy. He was only around seventeen but stood quiet tall and had an emperial air. Ana felt that it was a shame that someone with such a comely and attractive face was a boy instead of a girl.

‘ the Rider's androgynous voice rang out as he looked at Ana with disgust .

‘ Hey ! You damn lady_boy Ana yelled , glowering. But her lean and fragile figure couldn't make her words threatening at all

‘the person questioned, shooting Ana a disdainful glare .

‘Ana answered airily , with her arms folded in front of her chest.

‘ Rage sparked in his eyes upon understanding that Ana was calling him names .

‘ Ana smirked .

‘ the rider said looking at Ana with scorn.

‘ Ana sneered.

‘ The Rider's eyes narrowed in rage . He was even trembling in anger as he glowered at Ana .

All of a sudden, a ray of bright light surged up from his right arm . The sleeve of his garment was somehow torn apart into pieces and burnt into ashes by a strange but powerful force . Then his arm appeared , white and slender like a girl's. Sparkling streaks appeared around his arm one by one, which formed a delicate and unique mark.

Ana's jaw almost dropped on the floor as she witnessed the bizarre scene. She could not believe what her own eyes saw . ‘ . As that person waved his right arm , Ana was raised up by a strange force . Then , after a brief moment of being stuck in mid-air , she was hurled away. Ana let out a scream before she was smashed against a hard stone wall. She fell to the ground and groaned in pain .

Ana held on to the wall to support herself and finally stood after a while. She then yelled at the person angrily, ‘

he yelled back , a smirk creeping over the corner of his lips . But it seemed that he wasn't satisfied just yet. He raised his right hand and started spinning it . In a matter of seconds a vortex appeared around his arm . Then the vortex sprang out , rushing towards Ana . Looking at the vortex spinning as quickly as a drill , Ana gulped in fear . This person really wanted to kill her! .
