Welcome back, contestants. Just to give you an idea of where you should be word count-wise, you should be around the 4,500-word count area. If you're under it, don't sweat, you've got plenty of time to catch up.

Also, I realized I made a mistake in saying I would announce the winner on the 31st of October, but that cuts off a day of writing. So I'll still add the word count update that day but will need the final word counts in the evening of October 31st. The winners will be announced on the 1st of November, and I will start handing out the stickers and certificates. I'll also be working on your other rewards.

Participants, you can update Mer on your word count daily, but we will only be releasing the weekly word count. Weekly updates will be on Mondays, the last being the 31st, when the winners will be announced. (Next update will be October 17th)

We are also offering a discord channel for participants to come to and encourage each other and find tools to help you reach your goals. Joining the discord is not required, and you do not have to be a club member. We only ask that you bring positivity and be respectful of each other. If you'd like to join, please tag . If you've asked for it, please check your DMS.

If you haven't joined the festival and would still like to, it will stay open all month. Just be aware that your number will start at zero.
