《Help Me Heal The Cracks Of My Heart》Just a Normal Morning
Advertisement
Mr. L strolled lazily around the plaza of Castle Bleck, pacing its familiar shape with his feet. He did this often, especially in the morning. He was bored; he was always bored. This early in the morning he was not permitted to work on Brobot. Nastasia Had instigated this rule after he woke up the whole castle with an explosion due to a failed attachment. He always hated when he wasn't allowed to work on Brobot, so many ideas he needed to try in hopes to one day be Mario.
Mr. L couldn't help but lament on all his failures. So many failed Brobots and so many reprimands from The Count. He was beginning to wonder if he could ever build something that would beat the mustache menace. Something that could make his jester proud. Dimentio, the man who brought him here and gave him his mission. He couldn't help but let his mind wander thinking about his smiling mask and slender body hidden under his stylish poncho.
Lost in his daydreaming, Mr. L didn't notice the hand until it gently brushed across his hair. Immediately he flinched away, sitting up. Behind him floated Dimentio, giggling.
"Did I startle you?"
He asked, his tone innocent, the smile on his mask anything but.
"My apologies."
"No!"
Mr. L snapped, smoothing down his hair. He was trying in vain to hide the blush that had crept onto his cheeks during his daydreaming.
"You just- you didn't, okay? But maybe don't sneak up on people?"
Dimentio held his hands up, mirth sparkling in his eyes.
"I shall keep that in mind."
Still scowling, Mr. L turned around, crossing his arms as he studied the jester. (totally not checking him out)
"What's the deal? Why are you here?"
"I cannot hang around the plaza and visit my friend?"

"Some warning would be nice."
Mr. L shot back, trying to brush off his giddy feelings.
"No one else is even up yet."
"Oh, I don't wish to talk to anyone else."
Dimentio said. He shifted, cupping his chin in one hand as he took to a sprawled out position, despite the fact he was hovering several inches above the floor.
"I'm simply here to talk to you, my Dear."
Mr. L Could not prevent the little noise that escaped him when Dimentio said 'Dear'. Sure he had said similar titles to the others in the castle but it always seemed to sound different when he said it to him. Dimentio pretended to ignore it, but the smirk in his tone was undeniable.
"You see, It has been quite some time since I caused any mischief and I seek to rectify that fact."
Dimentio said, neatly ignoring the question.
"So, Mr. L,"
He waved a hand to their surroundings,
"Any suggestions?"
Mr. L leveled a look at him.
"So what, you want my opinion for once?"
"Of course."
There was a tone in his voice that gave Mr. L pause. The smile had dropped from Dimentio's face, and he tensed, fear prickled up his spine.
"As I just said. Need I repeat myself?"
In his delusion of romantic emotions he seemed to forget how terrifying Dimentio could be, he never liked repeating himself.
"No- no! I mean..."
He glanced to the side.
"You could turn all of Mimi's clothes gray, or turn Count Bleck's hat pink."
He shrugged, his skin prickling.
"You've just never wanted my opinion before. I was caught off guard."
Dimentio was silent for a few moments. Finally, Mr. L heard a laugh, and he looked back. A wave of relief swept through him as he saw the smile had returned.
"I'll take those ideas into consideration."
Mr. L relaxed, happy to have his fun jester back.
"I always love talking to you."
He paused, it seemed he had more he wanted to say but was conflicted about it.
"Well, I'm afraid that brings our time to a close. Until next time ~ Caio."
Then an instant later, he was gone.
