《Tᴀᴋᴇɴ {A Dimentio X Reader}》Chapter 2

You woke up. This time, you weren't startled. In fact, you were happy. It hurt to think about, but you were better off here than you were at home.
Soon enough, Dimentio came back. "Count Bleck wishes to see you." he announced, then paused. "I'll take you to him."
You got out of bed. "Is there...something for me to change into?" you asked a bit nervously.
"Hm? Clothes? I feel you should ask Mimi or Nastasia about that. Nastasia is just down the hall." Dimentio definitely wasn't fit to talk about women's clothes.
"Okay, I'll be back." you said.
You walked down and stopped at a door with a Twilight poster. You cringed. Well, what did you expect from Nastasia? You knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" called Nastasia.
"Uh.... (Y/N)." you answered.
"You're the new recruit? K, come in."
You opened the door and did your best not to back out. Nastasia has the cringiest interests.
"So...do you have any clothes I could borrow? I currently have nothing with me besides these clothes." You pointed at your plain (F/C) tee shirt and black basketball shorts you were wearing.
"Oh, of course I do!" Nastasia seemed to disappear into a walk-in closet. She returned with a (F/C) dress shirt and a white skirt. "I wanted it match your current shirt color, because that color is fabulous!"
Who knew all you had to do to befriend Nastasia was to have a good fashion sense...
You went to the bathroom and changed. There was a hairbrush on the sink, thankfully. When you felt you looked presentable, you returned to your room's entrance, where Dimentio was waiting.
"Are you ready?" Dimentio asked.
"Yeah, just had to get past Nastasia's cringy room." you joked.
"Ah ha, I understand what you mean. I can hardly stand her room myself. I avoid her room and Mimi's at all costs." Dimentio said.
"Yeah, I can't imagine what Mimi's is like. So, we're going to see Count Bleck, huh? What for?" you asked.
"It seems he wants to ask you some questions. I...have requested he doesn't ask anything too personal, for your sake." Dimentio admitted. He extended out a hand. "Let's go."

You took Dimentio's hand, an ever so slight blush on your face. He teleported you both to Count Bleck.
"(Y/N) is here, Count." Dimentio said, motioning you forward.
"'Very good.' said Count Bleck. 'Before you officially join, (Y/N) I would like to ask you a few questions.'"
"Okay." you said.
"Dimentio tells me you have prior knowledge to our team. Where did you get it?" Count Bleck asked.
"I found it online in my dimension." It was a half lie, but it was true enough.
"'There is public information on us online?!' exclaimed Count Bleck. 'Why is this?!'"
"I'm not sure myself. Nobody from my dimension even believes you guys exist, besides me, of course." Hopefully, he'd believe you. He'd never believe the truth.
"'Very interesting.' mused Count Bleck. 'Why do you want to join the Bleck team?'"
"Well, from my research, you guys are awesome! I admire you all, especially Dimentio." you excitedly said.
"Dimentio, did you know you have a secret admirer here?" Count Black chuckled a bit.
"Ah ha ha, Count, don't say such things. Perhaps...I will talk to her about it, but now is not the time." Dimentio replied.
You blushed.
"Where does your magic come from? Dimentio told me that it is immensely strong, and that the small blast you made would have blown a hole in him if it had actually hit him." Bleck asked.
"I'm...not sure myself. It was out of desperation. I was initially terrified when I arrived." you answered.
"Do you think you could do it now?" That almost seemed like a challenge.
You concentrated. Now that you thought about it, you could feel the abnormal energy. Never once did you try to use it in your home dimension. You sent energy to your fingertips. A blast formed. When it was about medium size, you realized you had nowhere to go with the blast. "What do I do with this?" you asked.
"Now, return the energy to your body." Bleck told you.
You did as told. The blast disappeared.
"I have one more question, (Y/N). Will you swear your undying loyalty to your team?" Bleck asked.

This was pressuring. You really wanted to say yes, but the question itself was intimidating. Finally, you said, "Yes, I will stay loyal until my dying breath."
"'That's all for now!' exclaimed Count Bleck. 'You may go. Perhaps you should get to know the others?'"
"Maybe I will." you grinned.
Dimentio teleported you back to your room.
=-=-=-=-=-=
Why was Dimentio teleporting you around? Well, whenever your hand was in his, he felt....happier. He just enjoyed being with you. He wanted to express these feelings, but how would he convey them?
=-=-=-=-=-=-=
There was a definite change in Dimentio. There was a sense of awkwardness about him at times Why, though? Maybe he's awkward around me because he...likes me? You felt it wasn't the biggest possibility, but who knew?
You played on your phone until you noticed your glass desk had an item on it. Upon further inspection, you found out it was a laptop. Bingo.
You opened the laptop. It was completely new. You'd meet the others tomorrow- you had setting up to do.
You personalized the laptop to your liking and soon began to play Minecraft. You began to build Castle Bleck- since you lived here now, you had a perfect model to build off of.
Your door clicked, and in came....Mr. L! "Hey, figured I'd tell you about the- Wait, you've already gotten it set up?" He looked at your screen.
"Yeah. I'm playing Minecraft." you said.
"Minecraft? Oh, I have to see this. What's it about?" Mr. L asked.
Huh. You'd think that Mr. L would know about Minecraft. "It's a sandbox game. You build whatever you want in creative mode, and you have to find resources to live in survival mode." you explained.
"Could I try creative mode?" Mr. L asked.
"Sure, just don't destroy my build." you offered.

Dimentio peered in, and couldn't help but feel a bit jealous. He didn't want Mr. L to steal you away, even though he had never actually admitted anything to you himself. He didn't want anyone else to feel romantically about you. It felt threatening. And it was funny- Dimentio, who would constantly joke about Nastasia and Mimi's little crushes on the Count, was now....interested in you. If he were to make extra room in his plan for anything, it would be to let you create a perfect world with him.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=
"Wonderful! This game is amazing! I could use this for machine graphs and so much more!" Mr. L cheered.
"I could get you a pirated version. I don't think you want to pay 26 bucks for it." you offered.
"Really?" Mr. L asked.
"Yeah, it's no problem. I'd do it for anyone." you said.
"Thank you so much!" Mr. L exclaimed. He ran back to his room excitedly.
Guess I'll pirate it for him later.
After gaming for some time, you came to the realization that you were tired. You turned off your laptop and got to bed. You already liked this new life. It would be even better if you had mutual feelings with Dimentio, but that still seemed outlandish to you....
You fell asleep, forgetting about the note you were writing earlier.

Dimentio was wrapping up his pranks. Everyone was going to bed, and he had no new nighttime pranks.
He figured he'd check on (Y/N). Maybe she was awake.
He went into her room ever so quietly to find her sleeping. Dimentio looked at her fondly. Something told him to stay there. He didn't know what, it just tugged it him. He pulled the computer chair over by the bed. While taking the chair, he found a piece of paper that he slipped into his pocket.
Dimentio doesn't sleep that often, so he stayed and just watched you sleep. He felt the most peace he had in years. Nobody really knew, but contrary to his general personality, Dimentio was tormented. Constantly. Yet, just by seeing you sleep, he was put completely at ease.
.....so much ease that he actually did fall asleep.
