"Ama force me drink this different water called 'alikoli'. It burns my mouth and make me sleep. I wake up with head pain and forget many things. But I wake up full until I vomit. I think outside people drink alikoli for fun. It is not fun or nice taste."

"I don't want to go to civilization because I cannot do what I want even it do not hurt anything. They will look at me not nice way. They will think I am ugly."

"Meyanna 'paint' his face many times, I think Ama force him. He looks more pretty after that. I wanted to paint face to become pretty also. But they just hit me again."

"Ama and Ada always cut each other many times. They don't like each other but they force sex each other many times. I cannot understand Vuzinia people."

His anecdotes always made you shudder in disgust, but Mayanka seem to treat (most of) them as something normal.

His hellish life may be an explanation as to why he's extremely unstable and mentally abnormal, but it DOES NOT excuse his actions. He still needs to be held fully accountable for what he has done to you.

...And to you, the only way he could do that is to suffer a very long and painful death along with the rest of his family. Of course, only after getting you to safety.

How does Meyanna look like? If Mayanka is 'ugly' in their eyes, imagine how beautiful Meyanna is. So beautiful, that the citizens of Vuzinia would throw away every single trace of humanity in them just to rape Meyanna, to rob him of his innocence and to break his mind.

You would shed tears thinking about the other 'pretty' citizens there. They are probably subjected to Meyanna's abuse too.

You tried not to think about the 'uglies' there, if you do, you're going to be dehydrated by crying so much.
