《I'll Be Good, I Will (Brahms Heelshire × Reader)》28

-I woke up with my chin on my chest and my neck aching so painfully that I could barely lift it up. I was in the kitchen dining room, and it was an hour before seven I imagined. My vision was blurry and I felt nauseous, but I hadn't left the kitchen. When I lifted my head, it took me a moment to realize just how terrifying the sight before me was.
-Allen was wearing Brahms' mask, arms crossed on top of the table. I can tell the sick bastard was smiling under it as he laughed at my reaction. "Man! You are fun to freak out.. It's so hard getting a reaction out of you but I have to be honest, it's so fun when you get one.. I knew I liked you."
-"Wh-What the fuck did you do to me?" My voice was groggy as I got it out of my throat.
-"Nothing, I just left you there. You passed out good too. Nine hours! You must've been stressed."
-"What are you doing with Brahms' mask?"
-"Oh, the bitch put up one hell of a fight to keep it on. He's an ugly sonofabitch too, understand why he keeps it on. Got real mad when I called him ugly too, claiming that you don't think he's ugly and that's all that matters. I get feeling bad for him but lying is just cruel."
-"B-Brahms isn't ugly.." I foolishly attempt to get out of the chair, but lifting myself even slightly causes my head to swim. "He's not.."
-"Wow, lying to yourself. Even more cruel." Allen rests his chin in his hand, that mask growing creepier and creepier the more that I stare at it on Allen's face, so I look away. "What? Are you scared? You have every right to be.. Get up. It's time for breakfast."
-"I don't think I can." I flinch as I hear the gun cock, and I only need to see it from the corner of my eye to know that I'm in danger. I sigh through my nose, and as I get my hands on the table. "Fuck me."
-I feel my legs buckle under me in an instant as I get up, and I manage to stop myself quick enough to not fall to the ground. I glance at Allen before I look away, forcing all of my strength to go into my legs as I make my way over to the counter. I feel so drained, my entire being was going to collapse at any moment. Either this is a symptom of the drug he put in me, or it had to be laced with something. Either way it was just horrible.
-"You don't have to act strong for me." Allen cooed. "I've seen people after. It's not the first time.. You can fall down and cry if you need to."
-And give you the satisfaction? You can kiss my ass. I ignore him and I pick up the first item for breakfast. It'll be a basic American breakfast today, and I will force myself to stomach it this time around. Just as long as he doesn't touch it.
-"12,500 dollars left to go. I can't tell if you're going to make it or not." Allen mocked me, even as I leaned heavy against the counter and put as much effort as I could into making the meal. "You've definitely got the determination for it though. You must really love your dog. I mean, he is a good boy isn't he? Did you know he mutters that he's a good boy when he's having a panic attack? It's adorable."

-My hands grip the end of the counter. I wanted to turn around and lunge at him, but I knew I was too weak now, and that I should've taken my chances yesterday. Then I heard Allen chuckle, his steel toed boots hitting the table. I turned around as his gun pointed up at the ceiling.
-"You know, I told him that if he heard a gun shot it'd mean that you were dead. I thought it'd be funny, because if I felt like shooting you right now it'd be one hell of a chain event. I want my breakfast though."
-"I-I'm not going to do anything that'll get you to shoot me."
-"Good!.. Make my breakfast."
-I look away from him, and I feel my body tense as I hear his gun click and shift as he moved the barrel. The scent of bacon sizzling against the pan was sickening, the crack of eggs making my stomach rise. I wasn't hungry, far from it--
-I let out a shrill and short squeal as I hear the gun behind me go off, and I tensed. I look behind me, and then up, a bullet hole in the ceiling. Allen then chuckles.
-"Imagine the look of hopelessness." Allen cooed, like it was just the most satisfying idea in the world.
-I hear Brahms scream loud from upstairs, and I give up on holding the counter. I cover my ears instead, not wanting to listen to that agonizing sound. I try yelling back, but my throat feels tight and parched and I am incapable of raising it from an indoor voice. I had no idea how dry my mouth was until my heart was pounding.
-I feel the barrel of his gun come under my chin and his free hand force my own palm away from my ears to force me to listen. I close my eyes tight, holding back everything I can, as I listen.
-The bacon is beginning to hurt my nose.
-Brahms stopped screaming by chores, and I finally started feeling like myself by play hour. Lunch was nearly as bad as breakfast, but all that happened was I had to listen to Allen talk on and on about how he and Loki never got along.
-"Lilly stole all of my friends!" "Lilly always had the last ice cream cone." "All of my guy friends wanted to date Lilly and they stopped being friends with me for her."
-Each time he mentioned Loki's dead name, I thought about Loki themself. I remember everything about them, and each time I recall their being, it's once again brought to my attention that Loki is dead. I didn't realize it until now, the heaviness of this situation--
-A knock at the door sends my alarms going off, and I look out the window. Winona. I look at Allen who tilts his head to me, his eyes peering through the mask. I clear my throat.
-"Only Winona makes deliveries." I say, my voice hoarse. "She'll drop them off at the door and leave."
-"What, you don't want to say hi?"
-"I don't ever say hi." I lie straight through my teeth, and I look forward. "Besides, she's busy with her groceries--"
-Allen stands up, and I rush over, grabbing his arm. Just as sudden as the moment is, I am suddenly knocked to the ground and my nose is covered in blood. I cover my face, my eyes watering as I groan in pain, and then sob a couple times before clenching my teeth to hold it all back. Allen chuckles quietly.

-"Well, lucky for Winona, now I have someone else to take my anger out on."
-Allen grabs me by the back of my shirt and suddenly I am being dragged across the ground, my hands grasping at the hard floor for anything, but I can't see much to know where to grab. Then we're out the back door, and I'm thrown onto grass, my arms wet with the night's previous rain that I was too drugged up to notice. I rise on my elbows, and I feel the gun at the back of my head.
-"Tell me when you can see. I know how fucked up your nose is."
-I blink, taking deep breaths before I notice the giant gaping hole in the ground. I furrow my brows at it, confused as blood drips off the tip of my nose. Then I catch on, my breathing picking up.
-"I'll take it as you can see; I buried you a grave!.. You see, I don't really need you much. Your dog? He's the one with all the money, and he's a selfish bastard too. I mean, you follow his rules, his everything, and in reality you are just his servant. He isn't any dog, he's a genius, and you are a damn fool.. He's selfish, so he'll do anything to keep himself alive, and if that means getting on his knees and following me, then so be it."
-"Y-Your shit plan isn't going to work." I cough. "You don't know who the hell you're dealing with."
-"Oh? Don't worry.. I can get him a leash." Allen chuckles, then reaching down and grabbing me by my shirt again.
-I'm pulled up onto my feet and I groan as my head rocks, brain knocking around my skull as he pushes me to the ledge. The gun goes to the back of my head, and I can feel my ribs crushing in on my lungs.
-"Last words. I wanna hear them."
-"... You're a dead man."
-"Funny.. Good luck on the other side."
-I close my eyes tight, and then I am dropped abruptly to the side, landing on my hip. I groan, before getting onto my back to see Allen on the ground and.. Loki, above him, pinning the man to the ground and slamming their fist into his face. I get onto my hands, panting heavily as Loki wails on him, and then Allen drops unconscious. Loki lifts their head, and their eyes are on me in an instant, chest heaving. Then they're rushing towards me, causing me to flinch as their hands grab at my shoulders.
-"I'm a damn sight for sore eyes, huh?" Loki laughs, getting me onto my feet.
-"Y-You're alive?!"
-"A belt buckle goes a long way in a makeshift wooden box, I tell ya.. That and my long sleeved shirt and fuck-ton of fuck you."
-"How'd you get in the house?"
-Loki points, and I spot Winona who has her hands on her hips, looking down at Allen's bloodied figure. "I haven't seen someone take a beating like that since highschool!" Winona exclaimed, and I turn back to Loki who is absolutely filthy with dirt. Then my worry kicks in.
-"Brahms, I gotta get to Brahms."
-"Shit, you know where he is?" Loki asks, and I nod, rushing away from them.
-I'm in the house, stumbling up the steps before I rush into Brahms' room. I stop at the doorway, heaving with air as I spot Brahms is no longer in the chair and all the ropes are on the ground. I jump when he rushes from the wall and at me, and abruptly drops the large item in his hands as he realizes it's me. Then his hands go to my face, his body nearly knocking me down as his lips are crashing into my face with no consideration for my blood.
-"B-Brahm-Brahms!--" My hands go to his shoulder as he presses his lips to mine and then hugs me tight, causing me to cough. "Slow, slow." I grunt, and he breathes into my shoulder.
-"."
-I slowly wrap my arms back around him, my hands going into his hair as he holds me horribly tight. I then close my eyes, finally feeling a sense of comfort as he holds me. But then he lets me go, looking down into my eyes.
""
-"B-backyard, but-- Brahms wait!" He grabs my hand and then he's pulling me out the door, picking up that blunt chair leg with him.
-He rushed through the back door after he spots Allen, letting me go, I am caught by Winona as I stumble and almost hit the ground. Loki flinched when the chair leg collided with Allen's cranium, and Winona simply gasped. The second thwap causes Loki to rush over in a walk towards me and they grab my shoulder. The third was expected.
-"Well, he's angry." Loki grumbles.
-"He's killing your brother, are you not upset?" Winona looks up at Loki who just shrugs.
-"Ain't no brother of mine." Loki says, simply watching Brahms knock another strike into the mush that used to be Allen.
-I rush out of Winona's touch, and my hand goes to Brahms. Before I can say a word, he grabs my shoulders and pushes me back gently, watching me stumble before he's back at it.
-"Brahms he's dead! Brahms!"
-One less hit, and then he stops, breathing loudly as he drops the chair leg. Then he wipes his hands of sweat, and turns to look at me.. Then around, which causes him to freeze.
-"Good job Buddy, finished the job." Loki claps their hands together, and Winona simply stares at Allen's corpse.
-"...Well now we can't call the police." Winona mutters.
-"Oh don't worry, they burn bodies here."
-"Oh okay."
-"Loki!" I snap, and Loki looks at me funny before catching on to my confusion. Loki points at Winona.
-"Sh-She's a messenger, y'know? Groceries aren't all she delivers."
-I furrow my brows, and Winona clicks her tongue.
-"That reminds me! I have delivered your groceries and I left them in the kitchen for you."
-"..So we're good?"
-"Everything is fine love."
-I let out a sigh and I look at Brahms, who's standing there awkwardly, body covered in blood. Then he looks at me, and then rushes over and hugs me one more time.
-It's over.. Or at least it will be once we get rid of Allen's body.
