《The Lost Boy's Girl》Michael

Humans ran around the boardwalk like happy meals on wheels just waiting to be picked off. There were hundreds of loud teenagers and kids causing chaos throughout the boardwalk. This gave me the perfect opportunity to sneak of when the boys weren't looking. We had already fed on four surf nazis to make sure we were strong as possible in case the frog brothers attacked again.

Paul was high out of his mind. David and Marko were drunk and surprisingly even Dwayne was high. I think this whole situation had really affected them. I could tell that they wished all of this had never happened. I couldn't help but feel guilty about ruining their perfect lives.

"I'm still hungry guys. I'm gonna go find someone to eat." I said whilst walking off.

"You sure you don't need someone to come with you." Shouted Paul with concern in his voice.

"I'm fine." I said trying to remove any suspicions the boys might have about where I was going.

"I know you are babe!" He shouted back. I laughed at his joke as my cheeks flushed red.

I walked to the edge of the boardwalk before setting of me towards my home. Well old home I guess I should say.

The night was as beautiful as ever. The moon was joined by beautiful twinkling stars. I never noticed how peaceful Santa Carla was away from the boardwalk. It was tranquil but also quite lonely.

I eventually made it to my old home. All the lights were on and a strong smell of garlic surrounded the house. As far as I am aware garlic doesn't hurt vampires but I was still going to be cautious.

I looked through Michaels window to see him sat on the bed alone. He looked upset. His eyes were red and puffy like he had been crying. I entered the room as quietly as I could. He didn't seem to notice me standing behind him on the other side of his room.

"Michael?" I said gently. His head whipped round to look at me his eyes were still red and sore.

"Ash I'm so sorry I didn't mean it. I wasn't thinking straight." He tried to explain. He practically flew of the bed and was now on his knees in front of me begging me to forgive him.

"I don't want your excuses Michael." He suddenly went quite as if he was at a loss for words.

"I just want to talk." I said as I walked over to his bed and sat on the edge. Michael followed and sat next to me.

"Please just let me explain Ashley." He pleaded.

"Michael just listen." I snapped. I just wanted him to listen to my perspective on everything.

He sat on the bed with his hands awkwardly placed on his lap. His head was down and he was shuffling his feet nervously.

"Look I know you don't like the whole vampire thing but I'm happy and you need to accept that." I explained to him.

"I don't accept it though. I look at you and I don't see my sister anymore. I see a monster." He said. His words were like a stake to the heart. How could he say something like that to family?

"I'm sorry for how I treated you in the cave but my feelings have been hurt as well. I have feelings to you know." He added.

"You sound like Dad." I said as I backed away from him.

"I sound nothing like Dad!" He shouted at me.

"All your excuses and what about my feelings? I'm the one that has gone through the most in the past few days! How do you think I feel?" I hissed at him. He had pure shock on his face.

"Ashley!?" Shouted Sam and with that I flew out the window and away from the now strangers living in my old home.

"What did you do?!" Shouted Sam whilst hurriedly walking towards me.

"Nothing I swear." I said whilst lifting my arms up in defence.

"It didn't sound like nothing Michael." He said sternly.

"I know it wasn't nothing it was much more than nothing." I sighed.

"I don't act like Dad do I?" I asked whilst tears started to fill my eyes.

"Yes" he sighed. "But it's not your fault." He added quickly before I could get a reply out. "We all do sometimes. I mean he raised us after all." He explained sadly.

I walk up to him and hugged him. He accepted the hug surprisingly. I thought he would reject me after everything that has happened.

"I'll try my hardest to get Ashley back." I whispered in his ear.

"U better try!" He snapped at me but it wasn't intimidating it was kinda adorable.

"I will squirt." I said as I ruffled his hair and laid my arm over his shoulder.

"I hate him! I hate him! I hate him!" I screeched at the the top of my lungs. My screams echoed in the cave sending shivers down my own spine.

I let out all my pain as no one would hear me in the cave and the boys weren't back yet. I screamed and cried until I couldn't anymore. I had finally ran out tears and I finally couldn't care less about Michael or Sam.

This is what I am now if they can't accept it then that's their problem. I'm sick of trying to be the good daughter and making up for what I did.

My eyes started to feel heavy and body started to ache. I walked over to my bed and flopped down onto it falling asleep almost instantly.

I followed after Paul and Marko as they entered the cave laughing and cheering.

"She's definitely here!" Exclaimed Marko with relief.

Her scent hit my senses which relaxed my entire my body. Inhaled deeper hoping to sense where she was exactly but instead all I could smell was Michael. Had she gone to see him? I thought I made it clear about seeing him after the attack.

"Where is she?" I hissed.

"David just calm down for a second." Said Marko whilst walking towards her room.

"I am calm." I lied.

"David she's confused. She didn't disobey your orders to hurt you." Explained Dwayne as he came up behind me.

"She needs to understand that being in this family means no secrets we tell each other everything!" I said sternly as I stormed towards the door to her room. By time I got there Marko and Paul were stood in front of the door.

"Don't hurt her David." Pleaded Paul. How could he think I was going to hurt her. I could never hurt her.

"I'm not going to hurt her." I snapped.

"David look at yourself." Said Dwayne gently from behind me.

I took a moment to look down at myself. My hands were scrunched up in fists and my muscles were tense up. My face was contorted with rage and my teeth were bared.

I took a moment to unclench my fists and relax my body. I took a few deep breaths to calm down my racing thoughts.

"Better?" Asked Marko. I nodded in response to his question.

Marko and Paul moved away from the door and went to sit down on the main part of the cave. I walked slowly towards the wooden door. I turned the golden door knob and slowly pushed the door trying to be quiet.

I saw Ashley fast asleep on the bed entangled in the red satin bed sheets. She looked like an Angel. Her brown hair perfectly messy and her face just as beautiful as ever.

I moved closer to her which is when I noticed that her eyes were red and sore like she had been crying and her lips were bleeding and sore as if she had been picking at them nervously. What happened between her and Michael?

I sat on the bed and pulled her close to me. I laid her head on my chest. She relaxed into my body and feel deeper into her slumber.

My eyes started to become heavy due to the sun rising. I let myself fall asleep with her in my arms.
