Claire POV-

Jordan had been looking all over for the pirates for a few hours nonstop. She searched their ship, everyone's homes, a few isolated areas on the island and didn't find a single trace of them.

Exhausted, she sat under a tree by a forest area near the pirate's ship, just in case they showed up.

Hopefully Stefan would show up again tonight and heal the soreness that was slowly building up in her muscles, or so a part of her hoped he would, the other was just annoyed at him showing up uninvited.

What she told herself would be few minutes of rest turned into a very tempting time for a nap. As Jordan felt herself dozing off at a very surprising rate, a twig snapped next to her.

Jordan didn't have time to asses the situation and quickly ran for cover behind the tree she had been carelessly leaning against. The sound of steps rang nearby at a quick pace from the left side of the forest, they seemed quick yet stopped everyone and then in caution. Still, she didn't dare glance from behind the tree in fear of being caught.

A few dangers crossed her mind... the mysterious Furia, her angry boyfriend, or potentially dangerous pirates who clearly didn't want company.

The footsteps slowed down and sounds of apples being picked from the surrounding trees signaled that whoever it was seemed to be taking a break. It took all her will power to not look, reminding herself of the possible danger it would be of being noticed.

Jordan's listening told her there were at least two pairs of feet stumbling around the trees, a disadvantage to her if the situation turned into a fight. That also assured her it wasn't Dianite at least, he doesn't travel with people, much less eat apples.

In her mind, Furia seemed like such a horrible monster that he probably wouldn't stop for a snack.

Another relief.

A few minutes went by and no one spoke until more footsteps ran their direction. The sound of a person panting filled the forest in a matter of seconds and Jordan did her best to hold the gasp of fear inside her.

Furia? Dianite?

"Guys.." Jordan said to her friends in the world communicator, not able to hide the fear in her voice as well as she wanted to.

"Woah!" multiple voices screamed around her

Crap....The pirates could hear her....

The pirates must have understood how to work the world communicator because soon their voices rang across it loud and clear. Whether or not they were aware others could hear was a different story so she sent a private message to her friends to not answer anything the pirates said.

"Our treasure be gone!" a very deep raspy voice said

"Yar?" said a gentle female voice shortly after

A girl? It must be Capsize... that makes two of the pirates nearby. And, Yar? Jordan almost gave away her position because of that ridiculous pirate talk but the continued conversation kept her focus elsewhere.

"Thieves?" another masculine voice asked, that one seemed less raspy and more masculine.

Jordan wasn't so sure who the two male voices were, her memory failed her again. The only pirate she could remember clearly was Captain Capsize, yet they had seen multiple pirates yesterday. Who knew how many crew members she had with her, and who knew which could be trusted...

"Must be!" the first male voice said "It was there yesterday before we ran!"

Jordan was listening intensively when her friends decided to finally ignore her very simple and specific instructions. Something she should have realized was bound to happen...

"It was Tom!!!" Sonja screamed for all to hear

Jordan mentally face palmed herself and rose her fists to the sky, screaming silently in frustration.

There were sounds of movement around her, they probably thought Sonja was around, something that could get her caught.

After a few seconds of searching, the pirates finally settled back, but Jordan had heard them draw out their swords and it didn't seem like they had been put away.

"Anyways, our ship seems to be wrecked! Nothing left aside from a few bottles of rum" said that same raspy voice from earlier

"Ah scallywags!" said the other male voice, Jordan had to bite her lips shut to keep from bursting out laughing.

Jordan decided to throw caution in the air and sneaked a glance at the figures she had only seen from behind yesterday.

Now she could see them, truly see them, and a part of her firmly believed she was dreaming.

The man with the raspy voice was the only one in the group to wear a red suit with golden shoulder blades. The suit itself wasn't like the one's Tom had stolen yesterday, it was very formal. The odd thing was, she couldn't see his face. He wore a giant skull on his head like a helmet with an eye patch covering one of the eye socket holes. What kind of creature that skull came from, Jordan didn't even want to know, it was strangely human but way too big. The strange man carried a sword in hand, the skull helmet making him seem utterly terrifying even without the weapon.

The second man...he looked much different. He wore a suit much like the one worn by the other male but his was dark blue with slightly discolored golden shoulder blades. He had more weapons than the former, blades and knifes visible in contrast with his fine clothing. The man looked to be around his early twenties surprisingly, but he had a husky voice and defined jaw as if he were older. His shoulder-length light brown hair and brown eyes looked almost gold under the sunlight, adding an angelic feel to his features. Overall he seemed human, normal even, or he would be if he wasn't wearing a pirate hat...

The last person amongst the group was standing in between the two men, both standing protectively next to her. She was much shorter than the men, yet she seemed about the same height as Jordan. She wore the same dark blue outfit as the man to her left, yet hers had a feminine touch to it, plus she wore a thin coat-like attire over it that flowed behind her. Despite her heigh, she seemed just as dangerous as her companions. She too had multiple weapons and a fierce look on her dark brown eyes. As for her hair, it was the same shade of brown as the good looking pirate, but hers was long enough to reach her hips.

The woman was Capsize, but the man next to her had a striking resemblance to her. Her mind seemed to snap into place just then.

Capsize had a brother in the show, one who's name she couldn't remember.

Before Jordan hid back behind the tree, she noticed something very peculiar...Capsize had an eye patch on her left eye.

Had they been attacked?

Perhaps Dianite or Furia had found them last night and she had been to injured to help.

A pang of guilt expanded through her mind at the thought of someone she was supposed to protect getting hurt, one she had promised on Ianite's name she would protect.

At the very least she seemed ok now...right?

Jordan turned back and leaned against the tree she was hiding behind, too many thoughts swirled through her head for her to want to listen to the pirates until she heard something odd out of the corner of her hearing capabilities.

Jordan turned back to face the pirates and saw they seemed more relaxed, so at odds with their previous behavior.

"Lucky for us Rupert, I have our most priced possession around my neck at all times" Capsize said, patting her hand over her chest, motioning at a string that hung around her neck.

She hadn't used the world communicator when she said that, meaning she was the only one who knew about this priced possession. What it could be, Jordan didn't have the slightest idea.

She contemplated the idea of telling her friends, but then thought better of it.

Tom would rip it out of her neck at all costs, specially if Dia found out she was carrying something potentially powerful.

What Capsize had said earlier stomped her mind as well, she had referred to the pirate with the skull helmet as Rupert. For some reason that name didn't bring back memories.

"Foolish thieves" the good-looking pirate said as he shook his head in disappointment and with a visible hint of rage by the looks of it.

That felt like a jab right to her gut because she had been one of the people who had thieved on them.

As for the others who had thieved, they were on a private mental chat asking Jordan where she was. After brief hesitation she decided to keep quiet for the moment, using the privacy she had with the pirates to gain information.

Unfortunately she messed up.

When Jordan tried to back up into her hiding place, a twig snapped under her foot that brought 3 pairs of eyes her direction in the blink of a second.

"I'm not here to hurt you guys!" Jordan blurted, a little louder than she wanted to "I'm here to help"

The pirates drew their weapons but their eyes assessed her statements, and for a second she swore she saw shock on Capsize's face and the man who was most likely her brother mirrored the same shock.

Capsize's expressions softened and sword dropped ever so slightly, that was until she saw what Jordan was wearing that the sword rose once more.

Those were Capsize's clothes Jordan was wearing, she might as well have written the word thief all over her.

The other pirates noticed as well and gave her threatening glares, taking a few steps her way, slowly, as if they were predators playing with their meal.

And thats what Jordan was...their meal...

Jordan knew for a fact she wouldn't be able to take them all on, even when she wasn't completely sure how skilled they were something told her they knew how to hold their own specially the man with the skull helmet.

Luckily for Jordan, she noticed her friends running towards them a few feet away.

They were screaming victory cries as they approached, loud enough to send the nearby birds flying off into the sky in shock.

A part of her wanted to laugh, specially because they looked so different with their pirate outfits, almost as if they were kids on Halloween running around the streets on a sugar high.

As her friends approached, Jordan noticed the pirates went cold, not with fear but rage.

A part of her thought they would attack her and the others until they began running away...again.

"Scallywags!" Tom said as he passed by Jordan, mocking Skipper's earlier statements.

Jordan joined them, running in pace next to Tom.

"Found them" Jordan said to Tom as they ran, a mocking grin on her face

"You got lucky! I was on my way here" he said, bumping his arm against hers, almost knocking her off balance.

They laughed and continued chasing after the still incredibly fast pirates like they had yesterday.

Sonja and Tucker began laughing in excitement, screaming 'Yarrrrr' as they ran along, Jordan soon found herself wanting to do the same and join her friends in their crazy ways.

Tom then went ahead and used some of the pirate phrases he learned from their movie nights of Pirates of the Caribbean instead, phrases Jordan now shouted with him to chase away the growing frustration of having to chase the pirates again.

The Pirates looked back once.

Their faces showed confusion and terror at her and her friend's weirdness, which Jordan had to admit was an acceptable reaction.

They must have seemed like a bunch of crazy kids running around with weapons, a dangerous combination.

Still, they ran and ran until they had probably circled half the inner island area...twice!

To her frustration, the pirates turned a corner suddenly like the last time they had chased them, and just like last time they vanished from sight.

Tom let out a loud scream of frustration the rest of them were holding in.

Jordan decided to look around a few times in disbelief before collapsing on the grass in equal frustration.

"Common guys! Lets go check the ship, maybe they went back to it" Tucker said, and began heading that direction, not bothering to wait for the rest of them.

Sonja looked back at where Jordan was laying on the ground, encouragement shown in her features, before turning around towards Tucker and Tom.

Jordan picked herself back up and ran after her friends, and as she ran, she had this awful feeling she was being watched from multiple directions...
