Dianite POV-

"What do you want?" Dianite asked, annoyed at his brother's presence

"I came to see how you have been. I thought being Jordan's...partner...for a few weeks may have done you some good. I see that even all her kindness hasn't been able to fix that anger of yours brother" said Mianite, taking a seat in the couch next to his desk

The same couch he had seen Jordan and him in when he first found out about them. Looked like he was thinking the same thing because he quickly got up from it and dusted off nothing but air particles from his suit as if to disinfect it.

"We just sat there you know. Im not that improper" he snapped back, enjoying seeing the discomfort in his brother's eyes

"The priest says otherwise, he washed his eyes with potions of blindness after he saw you two that day"

"What a jealous brat....Anyways, to what do I owe the torture of having you in my palace for more than 5 minutes. Are you so busy ignoring your champions that you need something to do?" Dianite scoffed

"Im actually here to discuss why you banished three of your champions, that's unlike you brother"

Thats what he wanted to know? Since when did he care about them? Mianite doesn't even care about his own champions.

Still, Dianite was talented with the ability of getting the truth out of Mianite since they were boys. That was portably why they never stuck around each other, that and because of other reasons.

Once they found out their mother was pregnant with Ianite, Minaite began crowding around their mother like leach, anxious for the baby's arrival. They thought he would be a girl at first, or so the future teller said so, that caused Mianite to want grow up faster to protect his little sister from all harm. That didn't really change once they found out he was a boy, Mianite clung to their brother like a puppy, always two steps behind him.

Dianite hated that. he was forced to grow up being scolded by their father, disappointing his mother, and having to become strong to survive. Everything Dianite did wasn't a big deal, even when he mastered the basic magics at a very young age, his parents looked past it because Ianite had found his connection to the end around the same time.

Once he was forced to center around dark magic with his father, nothing was ever enough. Learned all the spells to perfection, should have learned them faster. Burned his first forest, the fire was too weak. Killed his first human, it shouldn't be a big deal because they are just rats.

Meanwhile, when Ianite finally learned how to pick himself up, the world practically rejoiced in glee. When Mianite learned how to control lightning, it was as if he was the most powerful god in the universe.

Thats why he never tried to impress anyone, why he didn't care about anyone (Jordan being the exception).

Dianite wanted to prove himself to her so she wouldn't leave him or even lose her unless faith on him. Undoing centuries of evil wasn't gonna go away in a day of course, but even if he didn't want to admit it, she had changed him.

For instance, when they had dinner a few weeks back, he was about to punish one of his servants for dropping a bottle of wine, just the usual. His servants were like rats to him, unless and early replaced.

Jordan wasn't gonna stand for that of course.

She explained how he should be grateful for their help and that everyone makes mistakes, she even pointed out some of his mistakes to further prove her point, such as the wither incident. Jordan had him spare his servant because of it.

He would have killed him as soon as she left, but seeing the smile on her face and the pride in her eyes stunned him. It was a simple enough act that could be overlooked if it meant she was happy, a servants life for his lady's happiness...it was doable.

At least Mianite didn't know that, the last thing he needed was him thinking Dianite was becoming soft and weak.

With another sigh of annoyance, Dianite sank in his chair and closed his eyes to hide his anger.

"They were acting like children, I just got tired of holding their leash" he said

"Just tell me Dia..." his brother began to say

"I don't have to explain myself to you brother! I can do whatever I want with my glorified slaves. You know what, I'm off to see Jordan before I burn another forest down" he said, getting up from his chair, pushing it back so hard it hit the glass behind it.

"No...I'm not questioning your decision, I just though you wouldn't do that because of Jordan, I though maybe she would want revenge of some sort, I know your champion would at the very least" Mianite said quicker than he had ever heard his brother speak before

Odd.

"Though you would want her to stay pure, away from revenge. If she wishes revenge, I will gladly take her to them, but she is far to forgiving for that" he answered, sitting back in his chair

Now curious as to what his brother wanted to say, he decided to stay and snuff it out of him.

"I suppose she is, after all, she forgave you and you actually killed her" Mianite snapped calmly

"Now that we got all that unless blabber out what do you really want? Want me to bring them back or something? Because if so I will be on my way, I don't have time for unless blabber" Dianite replied, hiding a smirk

"Got him" Dianite though

"Don't go yet, I have an important matter to discuss with you. Its about our war" Miante said

"Go on then"

"I wanted to give you a chance to surrender" he said, as if searching the air around them for words

"Now why would I do that?"

"Because my forces will win, and you know Jordan will fight against you"

"Thats not certain and you know it, our forces are almost the same in size and skill even with your champions I could still win, Tom would easily kill them both"

"Well...I have backups. New reinforcements arriving soon, loyal to Ianite, strong warriors that will never fight for you and would die taking hundreds of your soldiers with them" Mianite said, shocked at his own words

Either he was bluffing or he hadn't intended to reveal such information

"Reinforcements huh? Maybe I will keep an eye out to give them a most pleasant welcome" Dianite said

"Don't you dare"

"Why not? Why would I spare them?"

"Jordan would be crushed, they follow Ianite, just like her, think of how alone she must feel. Once she meets them, she will fight for them, and if you kill them she will hate you"

"Not if she doesn't know they are coming"

"She will"

"Even so, I'll tell you what I told her, Ianite won't be around for much longer. When that happens she will come to my side and kill them herself"Dianite said, bored with the conversation

"You are right, she is a very forgiving young woman, but killing her god won't be something easy forgiven. Also, I would think you wouldn't want her on your team. If she was then she would have to spend much more time with your champion and you can't kill him. Must I remind you that we are to have at least one champion in hand in case of the need for duel during war, kill Tom and you have nothing, let him live and he will do what he is already unconsciously doing, stealing Jordan's heart" Mianite said

That woke up his anger once more..how dare he!

"Must I remind you she is dating me? Not him! Besides, whats an ant compared to a god? Of course she would chose me, no matter what"

"You know she won't keep the truth from him for much longer, they are friends. Once she reveals her secret, he will reveal his, and she doesn't have the evil to see him in pain like you do"

"Guards!!!!!! Get this filth out of my palace! I'm off to train, get me some villagers I can use for target practice and no one better bother me for the rest of the day" he said before grabbing Mianite by the collar

Mianite didn't look scared, but shocked at his reaction. when his fist around the edges of Miaite's shirt began to set ablaze, Mianite tried his best not to squirm.

"Don't underestimate what I will and won't do for Jordan. She is mine and none of you can take her away" he said before storming off to his private combat room

Miante didn't follow after him, didn't even fight the guards, he just walked out with all the grace their mother had taught him.

Though he couldn't see any of his servant following him, well....they knew better than to stand so close to him when he was angry...that didn't mean they weren't around.

instead of tuning around to see who walked at a distance from him he just screamed across the hall.

"Someone get me Champwan!!!! Him and Thomas...NOW!!!" he screamed

"Sir, Thomas just arrived a few seconds ago. He wishes to have an audience with you, I was about to send him off because you were busy with Mianite, should I..."

The servant didnt get to finish his useless blabbering, not today

"Then get him to my training room now!!!! what are you still doing here!" he screamed at the short creature

"Of course my lord. About Lord Mianite..."

This time he didn't yell at the creature, he cut off his head.

"Someone else go fetch Thomas now!!!! And clean up this mess staining my carpet" he screamed
