Jordan POV-

He woke up to the sound of his alarm, screaming in annoyance at the very familiar sound.

It was 7:30 am, it was an early time for him to wake up at, very unusual.

He stretched out his hand outside the bed sheets, blindly searching for the off button of his alarm to enjoy a few more minutes of peace before forcing himself down to the kitchen.

Of course those minutes would turn to hours if he didn't get up right away, with even greater annoyance, Jordan removed the covers and turned off the alarm.

With one swift movement, he got out from bed and turned on the flat screen on the wall beside him.

As the TV sparked to life, a familiar voice rang from it. The news people were always up incredibly early, ready for gossip for the most part.

"On today's news regarding Mianite, celebrates all over the world have expressed their content over Claire's and Tom's dance from last night. Later on today we will have our sports team analyzing the highlights of the latest purge as well" the newscaster lady announced brightly

"Don't forget that tomorrow we will have an exclusive with the Youtubers famous for bringing the story of Mianite years ago though the game Minecraft, and later on this week a talk with the leader of the newly founded Mianite church" the man next to her added

That was the whole reason he had woken up so early, they had to go rehearse for the live interview tomorrow. Though he wasn't very excited for it, Tom certainly was, he couldn't wait to rant about his thoughts and opinions, clearly enjoying the attention.

As for Sonja and Tucker, they were as excited as Jordan was, next to zero. Although they didn't like spending too much time around each other since their breakup, the Claire situation had forced them to see each other more often to the point were they barely showed any discomfort.

They all hung out often, mostly indoors, going outside would just cause unnecessary attention that none other than Tom liked.

Tucker and Sonja were always pressed about their relationship, Thomas on his doubles feelings for Claire and allegiance to Dianite, Jordan was asked about just anything they could come up with.

Questions to which he was never able to muster an answer to.

As the news blabbered on about the recent "Tom and Dianite competition" as they call it, Jordan put on a new pair of black sweatpants and his black Maron Music shirt. He slowly coped over his hair and splashed his face with some water before descending to his kitchen.

The TV in his living room was on as well. Thankfully the news had shifted to an architect examining the new structure that was Jerry's tree.

When Claire had mentioned it had something to do with him, his heart nearly stopped. How could someone as great and kind as her idolize him enough to bring his vision to life in his honor.

It was just as he had imagined it, of course she added a few things herself but the tree was magnificent nonetheless. He could never picture himself as a role model for anyone, even with his You Tube career.

A part of him knew he wasn't worthy of her praise, if anything, she had done more good than he ever could have under all those circumstances. Even after she had lost her world, family, and was placed in an unforgiving world with endless dangers she managed to pull through and rise above it all.

Even though she didn't owe that world a thing, she became everything they needed her to be, an angel in a sea of destruction and pain.

If only he could tell her how much he admired her, how much she had inspired not just him, but many others.

"For those of you who missed it, here is the video clip of last night's Syndisparkles' moment that left many heartfelt, well aside from Lord Dianite, thats for sure" The news lady spoke with a laugh

"Most certanly, if you look closely you can even see him in the shadows ready to tear the world apart. Wouldn't want to the Tom in that situation, surprised he even made it out alive" the man joked before the clip played

Jordan had seen it while he stayed up late editing a few videos. It caught him by surprise, seeing them together dancing in the dark was certainly unexpected.

Though her relationships were none of his business ( or the world's for that matter) he found himself wondering when Dianite would have enough of it and tell Tom of his relationship. Poor Claire couldn't tell her best friend had feelings for her, but everyone here did.

At times he saw pols on Twitter on whom would win her heart, most still loving Dianite's relationship with her over anything. Jordan could tell that relationships weren't her main focus, sure, Claire cared about her boyfriend and was the perfect girlfriend when she was by his side but he could tell that nothing could stray her from her need to help others. Even her friendships couldn't fall behind, there was more to her than just whom she loved.

Survival and duty were stronger than heart and desire from what Jordan could tell, only a strong woman like herself would act that way.

Some didn't see it that way, some like Stefan.

Jordan went by four days a week to check up on the progress of reaching Claire, and to make sure the poor guy didn't work himself to death. He would do anything at this point to reach the girl he had so strangely fallen in love with.

The strain under his eyes and paler skin were just a few signs of his never ending worries. Stefan hated Dianite with a passion, Jordan even saw him hacking into some of the Dianite churches nearby, shutting their power as if that could affect the lord of the nether, as if that could change things.

Stefan hated it more when Jordan pointed it out, so for the most part, Jordan had learned to keep his mouth shut when visiting. Tom on the other hand couldn't be silenced as easily, even Tucker threw a few jabs at him from time to time.

With all those thoughts swirling around his head, he served a simple breakfast of milk and cereal and sat down in his empty table, listening to news.

All they ever talked about was Claire and the world she was in, there was barely room for anything else. Every now and then they had normal news but they were never broadcasted as strongly as her.

8:00am. He was gonna be late.

Gulping the last bits of milk and quickly putting on his running shoes, he turned off the TV and bolted for the garage were his cars lined in perfection.

After picking the simplest of them all, he hopped on and drove to his surely impending doom. Jordan hated speaking in public, and that broadcast tomorrow would be televised for the whole world to see.

At least he would have his friends to help him through it, he was even counting on Tom to do most of the talking, it would come easily to him.

The government itself had requested they do it, there was no point in arguing with them, not that he would of course. Though a million reasons crossed his mind on what they could get out of it, one never stood out in front of the others.

All he could do was put on a calm face and answer as best he could, besides, Stefan would get the worse of it later on in the day as he would be interviewed after the four of them.

It was just about 4 billion people, no big deal...

Jordan turned on the radio, silencing his long line of worries and focused on the joy of driving to cloud them even if it was just for a few minutes.

Claire was strong enough to get through worse...now it was his turn to show her how much she had inspired him.
