Claire POV-

"You're late" Dianite said

"I told you I might be, but I'm here now so whats going on?" Jordan asked

He had made her sneak out of Champwan's, which ended up being a lot harder than she though since he was a light sleeper as of late. Sadly, that wasn't the only obstacle.

The mobs outside weren't helping.

She also tripped on her way over to the portal because she was too busy looking out for mobs that she didn't notice the little rock in front of her. At least the mobs were the only witness of her clumsiness.

Jordan only hoped the trip was worth it.

"There is much we have to discuss, but not here. Lets go to my chambers, no one must hear what I have to say" he said

"Your...wait isn't that a little.." She never got to finish because he held her waist and teleported her to a dark room she didn't recognize

The room was about the size of her house, it had no sign of color whatsoever aside from black and hints of red. There was also no bed, just hundreds of weapons and books everywhere, luckily there were some couches on the far side of the room where they could sit.

"What do you want to talk about first?" She asked

Dianite made his way over to the couches and Jordan gladly followed, she was exhausted.

"How many things are in the agenda?" He asked

"Well, I think a talk about what happened after you killed me is long overdue, I also wanted to talk to you about something else but I'm still not sure if I should" Jordan said

"The lets begin with your topics"

"Ok. Um.. it was brought to my attention that I have a problem, I want things to stay on certain course that I believe is the right thing but apparently it will only make things worse. That being the reason why I want to talk about this and acknowledge that there is something between us we don't understand" Jordan said

"Well, we both already knew that. And what do you mean by how things are supposed to be and all that?" He asked

"Nothing, just...this, us, I never expected something like that to happen" she couldn't even look him in the eye when she said that

There was no way she could tell him about the streams...

"I want to know how you feel and what relationship we have"

He got up and walked to a nearby window that looked out into the dark nether.

"Im not sure" was all he said

"Dianite, for this to be cleared up we need to be completely honest and open with each other. Ill go first"

"I am afraid of you still and I don't fully agree with your morals, but I'm not bothered by your company. I hate that you are keeping Ianite captured but I cant see myself killing you for it. And...that day you kissed me, I wasn't horrified or anything, just shocked" Jordan continued

As she talked Dianite walked over to her slowly, clearly shocked at her answers. Truth be told, so was she. Jordan hadn't given a thought to what she would say, all she knew is that she couldn't be afraid to change the course of things. Or so his dead mom thought.

Jordan got up and stood inches from him, looking him straight in the eyes, showing no fear.

"I dont fully know why I kissed you or how I don't hate you for constantly trying to kill me. All I know is that you're not as bad as you lead others to believe, you're just broken"

"Broken? Says the girl with the multiple injuries" he snapped back

"You know exactly what I mean. Dianite, I want to help you become the person you were always meant to be, there is good in you, I've seen it" Jordan said, holding his hand

"Funny, I see the darkness within you and you see the light within me" he said

"Then we can help each other deal with the side of us we've ignored all this time. But you still haven't explained to me how you feel, your behavior has been the hardest to understand"

Diante never let go of her hand but he began to walk towards the window, slowly dragging her along without saying a word.

Down below she could see the red glow of the nether and the darkness surrounding it, when she looked up at him she could see its reflection in his eyes.

"I've never really cared for anyone or anything for that matter. To me, everything is expendable, soldiers, humans, id sacrifice them all without a second thought if it benefits me in any way. Even my brothers and parents hold little importance to me" he said

Dianite touched the window in front of them with his free hand and leaned his forehead on the glass.

"But you... I've had plenty of chances to let you die. The day I threw you down into the ocean, I wanted to go back and catch you for some reason, but Miante beat me to it. The days you were captured I looked for you and killed more than usual because of all the rage I felt, but it wasn't until that day in the forest after you escaped that I realized, I felt no desire to kill you" he said

"Seeing others suffer is what I live for, it has brought me happiness since I was young, but when I see you suffer it doesn't feel the same. During the first few days I was sure you were a spawn of good just like Sonja, Tucker and my brothers, but then you went along and created the chaos I'm so drawn to. It just doesn't compute how you can be an angel and a daemon at the same time"

Dianite stepped away from the window and looked her straight in the eyes for the first time in a long time.

" Why you don't fear me is what keeps me up at night though, even after everything I've done. You know, the only time I felt regret in my life was when I didn't kill my father years ago, that is until I almost killed you. For a second I thought it was the universe trying to make me miserable again, you were the one thing I cared about so why not take it away?"

"The universe doesn't decide your fate Dianite, we are in charge of our futures." Jordan said

Jordan didn't know why she did it, but she placed her palm on his cheek and didn't let go. To her surprise he never backed away, he just closed his eyes and titled his face the direction of her hand.

"I grew up around some great people that taught me to do the right thing, and I know you must have had a hard past with your father. I don't want you to feel like you have to completely change yourself, but maybe you could learn to lessen your acts of evil by seeing what mercy and compassion are" Jordan then took her other hand and placed it on his other cheek

Dianite was very tall, maybe around 6 feet, so Jordan stood on her toes to look him at eye level. Thought it was hard to keep her balance she had to make sure he was listening.

"You know, this would be much easier to understand if I hated you and you feared me" he said as he mirrored her gestures

His hands were warm but gentile, she didn't even flinch when they found her cheeks.

It felt natural in a sense.

"Tell me about it! I would know exactly what to do then" she said

He was being open with her, that was a great first step! Though she had heard that Dianite was gifted with lies, she could only see sincerity in his eyes tonight.

Hold on...

What was she doing!?

Dianite was still the person holding Ianite prisoner, he had even admitted to thinking and doing horrible things. Yet here she was, in a huge dark room that had no other noise than their breathing.

Not only that, but she must have lost her mind because they were both leaning closer to each other and she couldn't tell her brain to back away.

Maybe not hating Dianite would have been an acceptable thing to change, helping him would have not been that big of a deal, but this!!!!

Still, they grew closer to each other without a word until their lips met.

Half her brain was scolding her for the horrible thing she was doing, the other was quietly enjoying itself

Jordan expected it to just be a short kiss, just a reaction to them opening up to each other. Having feelings all over the place could cause that, but the kiss kept going on and on until she wasn't sure how long they had been standing there.

Oh, if her parents ever found out they would ground her for the rest of her life!! But no one was there, it was just both of them alone, no one to judge.

Her arms had found their way around his neck and he had his around her back. They didn't say anything for a while until Jordan broke the kiss to catch her breath.

Her first instinct was to apologize but she wasn't sure who started the kiss in the first place.

She did want to apologize, but not to Dianite anymore, she felt guilt because of Ianite. What would their mother think of what she was doing, instead of rescuing his son she was making out with the other.

Thats right, their mom...

By the time that thought reached her mind, they had begun kissing again.

"Dianite.....I....need to tell you about something else" Jordan said in between kisses

Finally, Dianite understood that there were other matters to discuss and broke the kiss.

"What might that be?" He asked with a smile on his face

A smile? And not an evil smile, or an "Im gonna kill you" smile, just a genuine smile that made her smile back. But the thought of his reaction to what she was about to say worried her.

Still, she had to say something, it was his family after all....but he wasn't the only one.

"Actually, its something I would like to say to you and your brothers. It doesn't have to be today, but its something that concerns all of you" she said

"Hmmmmm.....Ill see what me and Miante can come up with to get all three of us together. Is this about our father?" He asked

"No, its just as important, but all of you deserve to know at the same time" she replied

"What a mysterious woman you are" he said

"Speaking of mysteries, what did you want to talk to me about" she asked, holding his hands as if by instinct

"That's right, I'd almost forgotten. Its about Champwan, I'm sure you've noticed his strange behavior as of late" he said

"What happened?" She asked.

"He came to see me a while back, and we found out some very interesting things about recent events" he said "he doesn't want anyone to know, but you are residing with him at the moment so this concerns you just as much"

She let go of his hands and embraced herself in fear, what could have possibly happened to make Champwan so sad?

"Its about his father. I'm sure you're aware of our new visitor, Nvidia." He said

"Well, yes...but I haven't been confronted by him"

He went over to her and held her shoulder for comfort.

"He killed Champwan's father many years ago, and since he is a very powerful being there is hardly anything that can be done. We also had reason to believe that he has returned to take another life perhaps"

"Dont tell me that Nvidia is here for Champwan!"she said as more of a request rather than a question

"Not likely, but it is odd that he has come back. He usually doesn't come often, but Champwan will be very unstable and it seems that you're the only one he will listen to"

"Ok...that explains a few things" she said

"Do you think it will become an issue later on?" She asked

"Not for long, I sent for a servant of mine to take care of it. If Furia fails, then Mianite and I will take care of Nvidia" he said

Furia...why did that sound familiar?

Jordan didn't know why the name sounded familiar, it had been long since she had seen the streams so maybe Furia was gonna be helpful.

Dianite walked over to a nearby table and motioned her to go along with him. When she reached the table there were many papers with information she didn't quite understand, but that wasn't what she was supposed to pay attention to apparently.

There was a huge basket on the table that smelled like death. For a second Jordan was worried as to who's body was in there...

"It 's just cow meat. Common, I want you to meet someone" Dianite said beckoning her to take his hand

She took it without hesitation, they locked eyes for a few seconds and smiled before Dianite teleported them. As they were being teleported Jordan began to question were they would go with all that cow meat.

What if the food was for Ianite? Could she bare to see him behind bars?

Once the scenery began to appear once more she recognized the entrance to his fortress.

"What are we..." she began to say

"Turn around" he said "This is Dargon"

Standing behind her was a huge dragon, the one she had seen sleeping when they first came to see the castle. He had dark scales and very bright eyes, as soon as he saw her he got up on his front legs and stared down at her.

When he sat like that, he was as tall as a building!

He spit fire out of his mouth towards the sky and let out a loud roar.

"Woah, I think he wants to eat me!" Jordan screamed as she ran behind Dianite

"You don't have dragons in your world?" He asked calmly like it was normal for him to do that

"Of course not! Are there more like him?!" Jordan asked scared that time

"No. Mianite's people killed them all long ago, I managed to keep Dargon and train him. Then we went back to the town of people who killed his kind and burned it to the ground" he said like a proud father "We have been partners in chaos since then"

Dargon came close to them and snatched the basket they brought and ate it whole, paying no mind to their conversation.

"i cant believe that happened to him" Jordan said.

Then she heard a loud swallowing noise that stopped their conversation completely.

Dragon came closer to address Dianite personally, in response, Dianite went ahead and petted his head.

"Go ahead and greet him champion of Ianite, unless you're scared?" Dianite said

Jordan was still behind him, scared to move any closer, but she had been challenged and Dianite knew that was a bet she couldn't refuse.

She got closer to the dragon little by little, making sure he wouldn't overreact at her presence. Dargon was calm, he stared at her a couple of times but never tried to eat her so she went ahead and placed her hand next to where Dianite's was.

Dargon had really rough warm skin, it sounded uncomfortable but it was very addicting to pet. When Dianite noticed the smile on her face he laughed.

"What! I told you I've never seen one before, these are only mythical creatures were I come from. I know a thousand Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones fans that would die to be in my place right now" Jordan said

But Dianite kept on laughing.

"I thought I was gonna have to stop Dargon from eating you, but he seems strangely relaxed" he said

So she could have died.....well...

As they stood there spending time with Dargon, Jordan noticed something peculiar.

When he opened his mouth, particles flew out of his mouth but not just any particles, it was some she had seen multiple times since she arrived to Miante.

Portal particles.

...But that didn't seem like something she should ask Dianite about.

"You know, no human in their right mind would ever come close to a dragon, much less pet it. You're full of crazy choices, like me" he said before kissing her unexpectedly

"So what are we gonna do about it? We both know we don't love each other but we are I'm some sort of...relation" she said

"How about we start one?" Said Dianite

Wait...what!?

"No one has to know, we can keep it a secret. Maybe once we figure it out I can rub it in my brothers faces" he said

"You mean like a secret relationship?" Jordan asked

Yep. None of this was supposed to happen....

Somehow she wasn't too bothered by it, even though she had been a girl who always followed all the rules and never did anything risky in her life, but there she was, about to have a secret relationship with what her friends perceived to be source of all evil.

Tucker would kill her, maybe even ground her if he felt like it. He'd probably try to fight Dianite too....

Sonja would probably laugh and take it as a joke, which wouldn't be too bad.

Tom would probably think it was a step towards her being on team Dianite and be very excited.

Champwan would probably offer to give her the counseling she clearly needed.

Regardless of what the others thought, it was the gods she was afraid of.

Mianite would give her five hundred reasons as to why she was making a mistake, or nothing at all since he didn't do or cared much about anything.

But Ianite....

He would probably feel betrayed and say he didn't want her as his champion anymore.

Then again, what harm could a SECRET relationship do?

No one would ever know so they could figure things out privately and see what a relationship would be like.

"Yes, a private relation. If we have a secret relationship it would be a lot like tonight, just the two of us with no one to bother us. Didn't you have a good time?" He said

Dianite got closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist and she placed hers on his chest. For a person who clearly didn't do much exercise since he could teleport anywhere, he had a very fit body...maybe it was a god thing?

After more seconds of mentally debating what to do...

"Ok. But no one can know! I don't want to make more problems than there already are specially with the new Champwan dilemma" Jordan said

"Then I expect to see you here again tonight" Dianite said before kissing her again

Though her mind was screaming at her that it was the lord of the nether she was kissing, she couldn't help but enjoy every second if it.

She had just accepted to be in a secret relation with a god...that has a pet dragon... and rules over a dark dimension....

Could life get any weirder?

Man, her friends would kill her...friends...Tom

Jordan broke off the kiss and placed her hand on Dargon as a goodbye, as a response he just puffed out smoke from his nose as if to say "goodbye".

"I have to go before Champwan notices I'm gone and I have to get some rest before Tom's party but ill see you tomorrow night, though you might have to teleport me here" Jordan said "The trip was a bit difficult"

"Very well, ill spare you having to trip on rocks like a child" he said

"You saw that!!!!!" Jordan screamed

Diane got closer to her and held her in the position he had before.

"Of course I did, it was hilarious" Dianite said before giving her a kiss on her hand

"Don't worry though, Ill burn every rock here in the nether so you don't fall on your face again"

"Very funny. Have a good night" Jordan said giving him a shy kiss on the cheek.

Why she did that...she had no idea...

When she stepped out of the portal she could feel the cold breeze of the night.

To her surprise, there were no mobs around so she made a run for Champwan's.

It had been a very peaceful run up until she was three feet from the door and assumed victory was in her hands.

"What are you doing?"
