Claire POV-

"Jordan, may I come inside?" Said a voice coming from the front door.

At first she though it was Tom but he was supposed to arrive later today though...

Her immediate instinct was to get a weapon just in case it was a prank or Dianite, but the sight of a giant black robe on the other side made her forget about her Mianite instincts. She jumped up and down for a few seconds before opening the door.

"Wag!" Jordan screamed as she went over to hug the beloved wizard she had gotten to know so well for the past few days.

Though she had been crashing at Champwan's for a few days now, the wizards had come to pay her a visit everyday. They would test out a few potions for a while and then would either get back to work or cheer at their success.

Now that Jordan could walk and run with no problem, she didn't have to stay in all day. Champwan was kind enough to do everything for her for the first few days. Now that she was returning to normal he was able to go out and take care of errands.

He had been the ultimate caretaker for her, he even brought back news on the god's every now and then. They had gotten to spend most of the days talking by themselves in which Jordan learned many interesting things about the world.

Champwan was very patient with her recovery time and even tested out some potions of his own creation, most of them successful.

They had also spent some time planning a gift for the next upcoming birthday at the island. Tom's birthday was coming up and Champwan helped her make the best present ever!

That morning felt odd though, it was the first day they hadn't spent together. She was so used to seeing him for breakfast every morning that the house felt empty.

During the middle of the night Champwan announced that he wouldn't be absent for the day. At first she was happy he could go back to doing the things he needed to do until he mentioned where he would go.

He had left super early in the morning to go to the nether all of the sudden. Apparently Dianite had requested him urgently...

Dianite

She hadn't spoken to him in days though he would occasionally teleport next to Jordan to scare the living day lights out of her...and he succeeded every time. After scaring her he would just laugh and leave.

It made sense that he would do that, both of them had no idea how to confront each other.

Jordan thought about going to the nether to speak to him a couple of times but Champwan always encouraged her to stay behind.

She was never stupid enough to disagree.

Regardless, that wasn't the biggest of her concerns though, there was a visitor on the island.

He arrived two days ago during a storm, he wore black and dark green robes and never said anything. What he did do was kill. He would just pop out of nowhere and kill whomever he wanted, no explanations given.

Jordan hadn't seen him personally yet but Tucker and Sonja's frustrations said it all.

Mianite said that he was a trickster god from many worlds, he just traveled to whatever world he wanted and caused mischief. No one knows where he came from originally or what his motives are, the one thing that was certain is that he was driving everyone crazy.

His name was Nvidia.... The one and only.... (Cue Activia commercial song)

Jordan remembered all the Nvidia server problems from the streams but never once did she think he would be a living entity, or that he would be such a pain.

She had never had to encounter him as of yet but she had seen him last night outside the house. He just stood there staring at her with his bright green eyes.

After they all finished up the little surprise for Tom's return, Tucker began leading an expedition to hunt him down and kill him. So far Tucker had died nine times at the hands of Nvidia so things weren't going so well.

Since Tucker didn't want Jordan getting hurt unless it was absolutely unavoidable, she had stayed home alone with occasional visits from the wizards.

Wag had spend a lot of time with her for the past few days, he was the strongest of all the wizards so he was tasked to protect her from Nvidia in case he wanted to come pay a visit.

That gave them much time to talk and get to know each other, they had even made plans for today. He was gonna teach her how to build with magic.

Wag suggested it because he saw her house and though there was room for improvement so today was all about building with wands! Actual magical functioning wands!

Oh how her Harry Potter dreams were coming true.

They weren't fully equipped wands, just wands that were able to to facilitate building but it was still super cool.

After Jordan let go of the hug, Waglington laughed at her excitement

"Ready to go Lady Sparkles?" Wag asked as he stepped aside with a bow to let her pass through.

"I love that you're so formal but Jordan will do, there is no need for formalities amongst friends" she answered

"Right! I apologize, I've never had a friend before. The only people I've been around with are my brothers" he said

"Now you have me though" she joked

"Is your leg doing ok? Are you sure you can walk alright?" He asked

"I don't feel any pain at all today. Looks like your potions are working" Jordan praised

He smiled

"It has been my pleasure to help in any way I can. Now common my lady, let's find a place to begin building" he said

"Jordan"

"Right, Jordan" he corrected

Jordan hugged Wag before closing the door to Champwan's place, making sure to leave the note on the door for him

"Common, lets go!" She said to Wag

As they walked across the land looking for a place to build, Jordan noticed how quiet and calm everything seemed without Tom running around. She missed him so much and couldn't wait for him to come home but she understood his loyalty towards his god.

Not to mention she couldn't stop thinking about the gods, how would they feel about her talking with their mother. Dianite and her already had a bit of things to deal with but adding this to the list seemed like a whole new level on unexplainable events she wasn't sure how to deal with.

Jordan had a feeling that Dianite had been around though, keeping an eye on her.

Wag had asked Jordan before if she and Dianite were dating or something, she understood his concern since Dianite did try to kill him and his brothers, but it seemed like an odd thing to ask.

Of course her and Dianite weren't a thing, she didn't like him like that but she was afraid that one day she could. His own mother had said that she needed to stray from what she thought was supposed to happen.

After talking with Dianite that day she woke up, she knew that being evil was a very easy option to take but she didn't want to stray from herself. But maybe by being around him she could make him a better person and in turn save Ianite.

If Jordan could stray from what she knew maybe it wouldn't be so bad, there were lives she could save by making different calls. There were also things she wouldn't be able to expect, that was her main concern.

Making the wrong decisions could put people's lives at stake aside from her own.

Maybe a visit to the nether later on could help her clear her thoughts. Maybe tonight.

Wag must have sensed her distress because he stopped in front of her and held her in place.

"What's on your mind? Nvidia?" He asked

"No, just thinking..Hey, would you happen to know anything on the god's mother?" She asked

Even if he didn't have the answers she was looking for, he always managed to give helpful advice and calm her but by the look on his face Jordan could tell he knew a thing or two

"She was said to be a kind woman, giving up so much of herself for the good of the realm. I believe she was the goddess of the twilight forest before she became human, her family lineage was said to be very powerful. Some say it was her grandparents that created this planet long ago" he said as he walked next to her

"Do you know any specifics of her death?" Jordan asked

"Well, I know it was her husband that killed her but I heard you took care of him. It was said that the shadows was planning to bring great chaos to the world and she stood in his way, thats when all the gods went their separate ways to rule their own parts of the world" he said

"You look sad. Why?" Jordan said wiping away his tears

" She and her son Ianite were the only ones to fight for the wizards. They offered shelter and care for many years, my mother and I even lived in Ianaera for a few years before Dianite found us" he said

"By then the great lady had already passed many decades ago, but her son, your god, he kept fighting to save us" he added

He knows about Ianite's town! Maybe he could take her one day? Perhaps it was too painful though, it wouldn't be right to ask.

"Im sorry about your mother" was all Jordan could think to say

"It was long ago, besides I owe you my life. You saved my brothers and myself, you're just like Ianite. You protected my world" he said with a smile

"Let's hope I can live up to that, he seems to have done many good things for the world" she said

"Not even Dianite can get rid of the kindness that fills your heart, you'll always chose to do the right thing, I just know it" he said

"But enough talking, lets get building" he said as he handed her his wand "This is gonna be great, let go of all your worries for now and focus"

"Sounds good, lets do it" she said
