Claire POV-

She was in a dark place.

No matter how far she walked, there was nothing anywhere.

Until she heard a familiar voice she had been dying to hear.

"My lady? What are you doing here? I'm sorry but I don't know why the dream pocket looks like this. I've been trying to fix it" said Ianite

Her wonderful god was standing in front of her confused. It took a while but she remembered what had just happened, things made more sense now.

"I think that may be my fault, I'm dying" she said, finding no way to sugar coat the truth

"What! But you've died many times before and this has never happened" he said

Jordan let reality sink in.

She would die.

This was a chance to say goodbye....

"No, I'm not in the island. It's a long story that I don't think I have time to tell. For once we don't have all night to talk I guess" she said wanting to just sit on the floor and cry

"No, you can't die! This....this isn't happening! Jordan please tell me you're lying!" He said

"I guess things didn't go as they were supposed to, I hope that the wizards are at least safe. Ianite...." she couldn't finish her sentence because Ianite came rushing to her side

He grabbed on to her face, just looking at it intensively. He was hurt, and that was acceptable.

With Jordan dead, who would rescue him? That was supposed to be her job, it was her purpose in the world and she failed.

"I'm sorry I can't come and save you, you must be really mad but I"

"I don't care about that! You can't die! Your world...I promised I would help you get back" he said at a loss for words

"It's ok, it was worth it. My parents would have understood that saving the wizards was the right thing to do. If you ever get to see them, please tell them and the rest of my family that I love them" she said in tears

"No, you're gonna tell them yourself because you'll be ok" he said

"Everyone on the island, Tom, Sonja, Tucker, even Champwan. Tell them that they mean so much to me, they were my new family, including you" she said

Then blood began to appear in her clothes, spreading all over. When she checked for her wounds, there were none. It must have been happening to her in real life.

The room turned darker

"No! Claire! Don't go!" Ianite screamed

That must have been a sign that her time was almost up because she began to feel out of breath again. The dizziness arrived and she knew she'd pass out in seconds. Jordan just didn't know what to say.

"I am so happy that I got to be a part of this world, no matter what, I'll always be here for you my lord" Jordan said before feeling her eyes closing slowly

She could hear Ianite screaming but she could no longer move or see. All she could think about was her last words to him.

It was all that mattered
