Claire POV-

"Jordan we have to make a run for it" Champwan whispered in her ear

Jordan couldn't even move, she was standing if front of actual wizards... the wizards she had seen on twitch.

How could they be the last of their kind? What on earth could have happened? By the looks of it, whatever happened left a scar because they looked at them with no compassion.

"I don think that's a good idea...we won't make it too far and maybe we can help them" Jordan whispered back

"Are you insa..." whispered Champwan before he was cut off

"Both of you! Stop. Now we can either force you back to your cell room or you can walk there yourselves" said the wizard dressed in blue robes

Jordan wanted to take the peaceful path, she didn't know the full extent as to why they were captured and staying could help her figure that out.

Whatever Jordan had planned, Champwan had other plans because before she could move back to the castle behind them he threw the knife she made for him at one of the wizards.

Then without looking back, he grabbed her arm and began running away. Jordan wasn't as fast as he was, it was difficult for her to keep up so Champwan was pretty much dragging her forward.

"The're right behind us! Please just stop, we can talk to them!" Jordan screamed as she tried not to trip.

Champwan didn't even look back at her, he just kept running, faster that time.

"They won't listen to us! You don't understand!" He said

Why not? Jordan wondered. They were friendly in the show, what could have happened?

"Gimme the other weapon, now!" He screamed shortly after

It took a second for Jordan to remember what he was talking about...the slighshot! She searched her back pocket and ran faster so she could run by his side. Then she threw it at him as fast as she could...just in time it would seem

The wizards were flying!

Champwan shot down the one that was right behind them on the first try but it did slow down their pace and the other wizards were on their way. They wouldn't make it much further...

Jordan broke free of his grip, stopped, and screamed at the four incoming wizards.

"What the hell happened to you guys!? What's going on!" She screamed

The wizards descended a few feet from her still armed with what looked like different kinds of magic. Though they still showed hostility it was difficult to tell if they would take her down right then and there, they had very perplexed looks on their faces, hesitation.

"Seriously, you both managed to stab me on the same spot twice in one day...." said the wizard with the cool fire armor

"Jordan what the hell are you doing!" Whispered Champwan

"Stop, I want to hear what happened, they shouldn't be like this" she answered

One of the wizards stepped forward, Champwan stepped in front of Jordan protectively, clearly he was still a bit jumpy

"Why are you almost extinct? I want to know what happened!" Jordan said

In her eyes, they didn't seem like bad guys. It just seemed like they were wronged, they were afraid and trying to survive. Hopefully her asesment wasn't wrong...

"Your kind almost killed us all! Don't you remember? Wizards were hunted down for years, me and my brothers are the last ones left because our parents saved us, gave us their knowledge and built this castle to keep us safe" said......

She knew who that was, he was one of her favorite characters of Mianite season 2.

That was none other than Waglington! Sure enough, his outlfit and British accent gave it away

She should have been excited but all she could feel was pity...they were hunted down.

"Then tell me why!" She said addressing Waglington that time. He seemed to be the only one that dared to talk

"How do you not know that? We are wizards, humanity hated us! All because of their belief that we were an abomination to them" Waglington said

"Why would you guys be considered that! Why are wizards so bad?" She asked frustration

Champwan grabbed on to her shoulder and raised his hand at the wizards signaling them to stop. He then stood between her and the wizards with sadness

"Jordan... Wizards were hated because they are the offspring of a god and a human. They have diminished god-like powers but are still mortal, people didnt like that. They thought that they were dangerous and opposed a threat to the gods so humans hunte them down, even during the war..." he said

"Does that mean...they are children of one of the theee gods?" Jordan said horrified

"No. They are the offspring of the shadows it seems, different mothers though from what I can tell, human mothers." Champwan answered again

The shadows brought back many painful memories for her.. but that was something she never expected.

"So...being with a god gives wizard children?" Jordan asked, still confused

"Not always, in some cases the children are just human" said Waglington

That explained a lot. Martha the mystic had abilities in season two but her brother didn't, and they were the offspring of a god and a human.

"Don't you see then! You should come back with us!" Jordan said

"What!" All five of them said at the same time

"Humans are just as endangered as you, Tom said that there were only true ones in our island and at most twenty survivors outside of it. And they are all around our age, they weren't old enough to know that prejudice I bet! I don't think they would harm you! I cerantly would never" Jordan said dropping her weapons

Then the wizard with the fire armor pointed at the whole in his abdomen without saying a word

"I'm truly sorry about that! I though you guys worked for Dianite or something" Jordan apologized

"Dianite......that monster. His followers were the ones that hunted our kind the most! His older brother did nothing about it because he didn't care. The only one that protected us was their younger sibling" said the wizard in the blue robes

"Ianite...and I can see why. You guys are both human and god, you guys are balance" she said

Champwan took a moment to think about what she said, apparently it made enough sense to him to let go of his weapons as well. He looked at Jordan in the eyes and showed a smile

"I trust you completely, if you trust them I will too" said Champwan as he retreated next to her

The wizard stood there astounded for a moment as well. Them they joined hands and next thing she knew her and Champwan were in a cristal cell, the wizards staring at them form the other side.

"We don't know if we can trust you yet, but for now we want answers" said Waglington

"Ok, i have nothing to hide" said Jordan

She stepped forward as close as she could to the glass, Waglington joined her on the other side. Now they could speak face to face at the very least

"You, guy with the robe. We have questions for you" Waglington said pointing at Champwan

"What?" Champwan's asked now standing next to Jordan

"You fell from the sky after we sensed a disturbance in the realm. Then we heard that you became a great warrior and even earned the title of champion. Those impressive for someone that fell 100 feet and should have died" said the one wizard that hadn't spoken yet

He didn't have robes or heavy armor like the others. He had simple armor and googles covering his face. If she wasn't so offended she may have though they all looked badass.

"That's why we brought you here and your girlfriend. We wanted to see for ourselves who was the person who had gained some of the highest ranks in the world in a few months, the person who fell from the sky, the angel from above as Waglington calls it" said the blue robed wizard

Jordan pushed Chapwan behind her, somehow more offended than before.

"Thank you for the complements, I didn't know I was known with such titles. I'm flattered to be the angel that bellyflopped 100 feet from the sky Mr. Waglington" Jordan said sarcastically with a hint of anger

The four wizards stood paralyzed, their facial expressions were a mixture of embarrassment and amazement. On the other hand, Champwan was just laughing at them

Jordan couldn't help but look back and laugh with him. He always seemed like such a serious person but his laugh was beautiful and contagious. Guess getting captured had a nice reward, seeing a friend laugh.

"You are... ok. Wow. Um so..." said Waglington

"Hi, my name is Claire but people here call me Jordan, don't ask why. I'd shake your hand but there is glass in front of my face. And this guy is Champwan, he's not my boyfriend though, he's the Councelor of the gods. I'm Lord Ianite's champion" she said

"That's impossible! Ianite never had a champion! Besides he's been missing for years!" Said the fire armor wizard

"He has a very special bond with her, I've seen it. Besides, can't you feel his magic surging from her bracelet, that should be proof enough don't you think?" Said Chapwan

The wizards closed their eyes and held their hands up in the direction of the bracelet probably looking for confirmation. They all open their eyes in shock at the same time.

"Anyways. I think you guys would really help bring balance to our island, both species can help eachother out. After all, both are short in numbers and this is a chance for the younger generation that's left to make amends and fix the wrongs of their ancestors" Jordan added

"How could we possibly help eachother?" Asked Waglington

"Well...to be honest, we are living in medieval conditions, we could use better homes and building structures to help improve our living style. What would you guys want a payment?" Asked Jordan

Truth be told she got the idea from her world. If the wizards had built that castle then they were probably as good at building as in the show.

"We could use some diamonds. We need them for some very complicated spells but it's hard for us to go minig for them. I'm sure you can imagine how dangerous it is to go mining and use powerful spells to fend agains mobs there. We would destroy a lot more than the mobs" said the quiet wizard

"We could work with that, as far as I'm cornered none of us have shortages on ores. What do you think? Could you put old quarrels aside, give humanity another chance?" She asked

"Hmm, your not even from the island. Why do you care so much for peace?" Asked the fire armor wizard

"This is my home for now, and it's my jobs to bring balance and peace. Not only that but I really like you guys, it kills me knowing that a genocide was directed at you guys. I'm so sorry" Jordan said a she began to cry

Sh didn't know why exactly, she just couldn't bare with the idea of so much hate and evil towards people like the wizards, she could tell they were the greatest beings of that world.

Champwan dried her tears and held her in a hug.

"I've seen what genocide caused in my world, it kills me know it happened here too" she explained

The wizards were moved but they still looked weary and she couldn't blame them.

"We will talk it over. Just give us a minute to discuss it" said Waglington

"You know, no Ianitee ever hunted our species down. I'm glad there is still one left to fix the world. We owe much to Ianite for protecting our people for as long as he could, i see a lot of him in you Lady Jordan" said the wizard she stabbed

"That means so much to me, thank you" was all Jordan could say

While the wizards made their decisions in a foreign part of the castle, Jordan and Champwan sat on the floor quietly for a while till Champwan decided to talk

"Who knows how long we were knocked out, maybe everyone is out there looking for you" he said

"And you as well" Jordan added

"Nah, they won't know I'm missing. Nobody knew I was with you that night and I never leave my house so they may not even notice" he said sadly

Though she hated the though of his loneliness he had a point.

"I knew Ianite very well many years ago, he was a good friend of mine. Now I know why he cares o deeply for you that he trusted you as his champion. No one else deserves that title othe than you, I mean, you managed to help us out more than once with force and with words" he said laughing a bit

"I love your laugh, though I asume im the only one that's heard it in a long time huh?"

"You would be correct, even Tucker laughs in public and he's a stick in the mud sometimes. I never noticed how weird that was" he said with a smile

"He can be salty, but he's a very sweet guy I wouldn't change a thing about him. I love him the way he is, no matter his flaws I guess" she said

"You know, you looking at the good in people is a very rare trait. No wonder Tom likes you so much, your the only one that sees him for him" he said running his hand through the cape Tom gave her

"I don't know if this is incensitive, I've never had the heard to ask Tom in case it was a touch subject...Why is he..you know...green?" She asked, hiding her face in her cape embarrassed for even asking

"He wasn't always like that, he was a regular human. Though I could tell you, i think that's one of the things you should ask him yourself. It's his business and I don't want to say something I case he doesn't feel comfortable with me telling you" he answered pulling the cape back

"I understand completely, you don't have to say anything. It's not that it bothers me or anything, I love him just the same. I'm just worried that he may be in pain or something" Jordan said

"Trust me, he isn't. His skin condition doesnt affect him at all." He assure her

Jordan felt a bit of relief rise, she had been wondering about that for months since she saw him. She was just glad he was ok

"He really loves you ya know, much like others in the island" he whispered

"Well, we're all a family now. That all lost theirs, including you and the wizards, hell even the gods lost their family. It's just, all this loss, the pain in this world... I used to complain about not seeing my family enough sometimes. Now I just feel stupid, compared to what you all went through, I just want you guys to have a family like the one I was lucky enough to have" Jordan said, crying for the second time in one day

That may have been a personal record.

Champwan just hugged her tight without judgement

"You have brought us together, we are all a family now. There may have been a lot of bad but who knows how things would have turned out otherwise. We may not have even met you, I'd say our loses are worth it. The new family is better." He said

Jordan couldn't help but think of her family again. She loved and missed them so much, she had never been apart from home. EVER. They must have though she was dead or maybe they though she was missing and were looking for her... at lest she had her new family to ease her mind of those thoughts for now

"Guys! Sorry to interrupt what looked like a make out session but we made our decision" said Waglington blushing in embarrasment

Thoug that wasn't the case, Champwan and Jordan pulled apart fast and stood up to adress the Wizard

"So?" Jordan asked in anticipation

"We're in. But first I should introduce us. My name is James Wanglington, that's Phil Brutealmighty, that's Tom Killer, and that's Matthew iFirez" he said

Jordan and Champwan bowed at the wizards in respect, then a door appeared on the glass wall.

"Now let's get you home"
