Dianite POV-

"Sir, apologies but have an important message. You have a visitor your lordship." Said the servant bowing apologetically.

"Whom is it? I don't get many visitors aroud here, who will be killed today I wonder? Is it one of those mundanes of Miante?"

"No my lord" said the servant shaking " It's your father" he said before collapsing.

This was unexpected...what could he want? Perhaps Jordan was with him, perfect torture for Ianite at the very least.

"Hear that brother, it must be Jordan coming to kill you. What an inpatient woman, she must be eager to end your life. I'll go greet my guest if you don't mind brother, maybe we'll come pay you a visit" said Dinate laughing as he exited the room.

Once teleporting upstairs he found his father sitting comfortably on his throne. Though slightly bothered, Dinate showed no discomfort and made his way closer to him. As he looked around to see if he had brought others with him, Dinate noticed that Jordan was nowhere to be seen.

"Hello Dianite, I see your palace is expanding. What for I wonder?"

"As always, it's an absolute nightmare being in your presence again father."

"Is that any way to speak to your old man? Besides I come with news. I recently found out that my champion had intended to betray me, so I have come to inform you that I will destroy her. Though you might like to see a mortal die, but maybe not this one, you seem...attached to her. Was she to become your new pet?"

He knows...she failed. Now she will die.

"I see no difference in any of the mortals, nor do I care for one of Iante's toys. Is that all you wanted? To tell me you would execute an Ianitee? Father, I just can't find myself to care, so your purpose of coming here is rather useless"

"Now boy, don't lie to your father! But on a related note, how is your curse going? I see your monsterous appareance still remains. Your mother would have been ashamed to see you are still like this"

"No thanks to you. Can you stop playing games and tell me why you are really here?"

"Still as grumpy as always. If you insist, I am here to invite Ianite to witness as well, where are you keeping him?"

"Not your concern father"

"You've tortured your brother to the brink of death, under normal circumstances I would be incredibly proud"

"I don't want your praise nor acceptance. The whereabouts of my prisoners need not concern you. If this is all you wish to inform then I suggest you leave. Thoughout of curiosity, were will you be killing her?"

"See, you do care. How about this... we can make a deal. I trade you and Miante the girl for Ianite in return. That way we both get what we desire. If you don't show at sunset, I will kill her for her betrayal."

"Why is Ianite of interest to you? Besides, why are you willing to spare someone who betrayed you?"

"He and I have some...father and son bonding time to take care of. I am willing to spare her because I know how much you wish her by your side, don't say I'm an unmerciful god. Besides, I know she will suffer by your side and she will have no choice given the death of her god, she will be all yours."

This was something Dinate never anticipated. It complicated things...

"Take your time to decide son, you have till sunset. My conditions are that you and Miante must come along with Ianite, the exchange will be very simple from there. We will be at the island of the dark death, I'm sure it will bring good memories for you and your brothers after all"

After a simple jokingly hand gesture, the shadows teleported away. None of what had just happened made sense and the decisions were too complex to make on his own.

It infuriated Dinate that the plan didn't work. At the very least, it didn't seem like she had told the shadows who really planned the whole thing. She had put all the blame and betrayal on herself. Dianite wondered what she had done to slip out of character, were she had messed up.

Regardless, this had just turned more complicated than expected.

"Mianite, we must speak at once!" Dinate screamed towards the sky and made his way to the overworld

As he waited for his brother, he though on what state Jordan would be at, most likely beat up near death.

Looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all...
