She is unhappily matched to Blake for the next generation, but she finds hope when Nima, an unaltered 21-year-old girl, is introduced into the program. Aria is drawn to her and soon the two share feelings the program does not allow. Aria tries to help Nima survive the treatments she's undergoing, but no one of Nima's age has ever survived. Worst of all, if Aria's mother, Dr. Seki, finds out about their love, the consequences will cost both Aria and Nima their lives.

Unbecoming Humans was a lot of pent up creative energy that burst out of me through a fever dream one night. It was a small scene of a dream with two young women passing secrets and cruising on one another from their forcibly separate rooms. The story blossomed into so much more.

My coworker (now my boss) got me into reading lesbian fiction, which I was somehow unaware of until a few years ago. We were reading through everything we could find. When we started running out, she found Wattpad and I dove in headfirst.

My favorite experiences on Wattpad are meeting and interacting with people all over the world. I met two of my best friends through Wattpad. It was weird and wonderful, just the way I like it.
