I hadn't seen Kavos all day and as I couldn't feel his presence I assumed he had left the house which made me feel strangely empty . Even if I wasn't with him , I could always sense his presence as he worked in his office whilst Aztec entertained me for the day. It was odd. I didn't like it.

Biting my lip, I pushed my pasta around my plate and let out a sigh, what time would he be back ? Was he still angry with me ? My own anger had subsided with him almost as soon as he left , I missed him and I wanted nothing more but to hug him and engulf his comforting scent .

"Come on, you can't seriously still be moping about Blue, it's been hours " Groaned Aztec , walking in the kitchen.

Aztec looked as handsome as ever , his 6ft 5 muscular framed donned in a form fitting black expensive shirt, black jeans and sneakers whilst his green eyes glowed mischievously. His honey blond hair slicked into its usual ponytail and he had his arms wrapped around both of the twins .

You couldn't describe Zara and Celina as beautiful , they were much more exotic and unique for such a bland word. There was something about their feautures that drew you towards them and made them almost impossible to look away , they had a wild look to them that was incredibly fascinating . Dark chocolate skin , bright yellow eyes , dimples and untameable curly hair that farmed their faces .

Both girls went for a leather look that consisted of a tiny leather skirt that was tucked into a graphic T-shirt completed with a leather jacket and studded ankle boots.

"You two look very pretty" I complimented, giving them a shy smile.

"Thank you Blue-" Started Celina , sitting down next to me .

"- Are you not coming out tonight ?"Finished Zara.

Looking down at my fluffy purple pyjama bottoms and oversized hoodie that I had taken from Kavos's wardrobe a few hours ago, I shook my head and buried my head in it to sniff his scent.

"No, I'm not in the mood to party tonight " I replied quietly.

"Are you sure ? It's going to be a good one-"

"- a real night to remember , I think you'll -"

"- enjoy it " .

"I don't think I'd be much company anyway, I'd only spoil the night" I declined, glancing at the clock .

21:00.

Kavos hadn't been home for ten whole hours . This was the longest I hadn't seen him since the day we met and my heart tugged painfully at the thought , did he not want me anymore ? Had this been the last straw for him?

Without realising it , I rubbed the spot on my chest were my heart was and fought the urge to curl up in a ball and cry, nothing felt right without him being near me. The house didn't even feel like home , but how could it when home was were the heart was and Kavos was the keeper of my heart ?

"You guys know I'm pretty humble and not one to brag but on a scale of 10 to 10, how hot am I right now ?" Aztec stopped his musings, shooting me a dirty look before saying "Not that some people bothered to notice as they were too busy complimenting others".

Rolling my eyes , I said " Aztec, you look really nice tonight by the way"

"What ? In this old thing ? Don't be silly , I literally just threw it on " Scoffed Aztec , giving the twins a disbelieving look as if he couldn't fathom the idea of being complimented .

Stifling a laugh , I grabbed my plate and brought it to the sink shaking my head , Atec really was a character and a half . He was unlike anyone I had ever met but I wouldn't trade him for the world , he really was my best friend and big brother all in one .

"There's something seriously wrong with you , but we should probably get a move on if we wanna hit the Wolf realm for pre drinks" Celina said.

"I thought you guys were having the party and it starts in half an hour, what if people turn up ?" I asked, setting the sink to wash up .

"Yeah but we're being fashionably late , anyway come on Blue, we're leaving "

"What?"

"I'm not allowed to leave you here unattended and I sure as hell ain't missing the party which means you're coming" Aztec explained , grabbing my hand which was a sign that he was about to teleport us .

My eyes widened in alarm "Aztec, you can't ! Look how I'm dressed !"

"I know, you look awful . Anyway, lets go! Party timeeee"

And with that , we were gone and suddenly in some expensive looking kitchen surrounded by a select few of good looking people. The girls all were tall with athletic looking bodies and the men ridiculously muscular with rough features - tell tail signs of werewolves.

Everyone turned towards us, eyes sweeping all of us and confusion settling over their faces once they saw me but once they realised who I was, they all bowed respectfully. I wasn't even wearing shoes. Embarrassment settled in my stomach and I was secretly willing the ground to swallow me whole , this could not be happening .

"My Queen" They all echoed , before standing up , their eyes never once leaving me.

"H-hi" I stuttered out before taking a step back , hiding slightly behind the model like forms of the twins , their 5ft11 height shielding me.

"Okay people -"

"Nothing to see ! Go back to drinking and partying !" Called Zara, obviously sensing my discomfort and horror.

Immediately everyone went back to dancing to music and drinking which gave me an opportunity to elbow Aztec in the rib.

"Ow! What the hell was that for ?!" Groaned Aztec, shooting me an annoyed look.

"You're going to be in sooo much trouble when I tell Kavos" I replied back smugly.

"Yeah well you look sooo stupid " Shot back Aztec.

"Well you look soo stupider!"

"Yeah , well, you look stupider times infinity !"

"Yeah, well , you -"

"Okay , okay we get it , Aztec looks dumb but what are you doing here Blue and dressed like that ? Don't get me wrong , you look as adorable as ever but not exactly party attire sweetie " Came the sing song voice of Ebony , Cassandra's sister , walking towards us .

"Oh , hey Ebony. Nice to see you again " I answered meekly , feeling slightly intimidated by her dominating and beautiful presence.

"You" Spat Aztec , giving her a dirty look before walking off to the mini bar.

"Do you mind if we go outside? I feel silly dressed like this and in front of so much people"

"No problem, you girls can go and enjoy yourself , we'll just be out the front " Ebony agreed linking arms with me.

The thick dense forest was as beautiful as ever , the sound of a variety of different exotic animals running in them oddly soothing as the night and trees hid them. It was March now which meant it was starting to warm in the realm , the warm atmosphere soaked into my every pore and reminded me how much I loved the feeling of the different weathers as they touched my skin . I could still remember the days when I would stare out the window and dream of the feeling to be outside , it was simply wonderful .

"I take it your mate doesn't know you're here for pre drinks before the twins big party ?" Asked Ebony , looking at me in wonder as we sat on the porch .

"No, I don't think so " I admitted , chewing my lip as my heart tugged at the reminded that I hadn't seen Kavos in hours .

"So, why are you dressed like that?"

"I didn't plan to come out tonight , I planned to watch films and eat ice cream but Aztec can't leave me unattended so he forced me to come , literally ".

"Films and Ice cream ? Period ?"

"Oh, n-no, he hasn't give me my mark yet so I can't start it until he b-bites me" I admitted , feeling shy and awkward about the subject.

"Oh" Ebony frowned " Are you not ready for such a big step yet? I remember you saying that if you do , you'll have to consummate the bond two weeks later".

Frowning , I thought about Ebony's words and tried to digest them as I hadn't actually sat down and thought about it at all. I knew I loved Kavos undeniably and the thought of being away from him was unbareful , it felt insufferable too.

Sex was a huge step but I knew for a fact that Kavos would make me comfortable and wouldn't do anything I didn't want , he did love me , I was certain of it . I was nervous about the act itself , I knew the basics but I didn't actually know what I was meant to do or how I was meant to act .

However , he wouldn't hurt me , I know he wouldn't.

"I'm ready , I know I am, I love him" I replied , the firmness in my voice surprising us both.

"I'm glad to hear it" Came the gruff tone that belonged to the topic of the conversation.

Kavos.

The atmosphere between us was almost electric as I looked into his guarded purple eyes that stared intensely into mine , his presence engulfed me and made it almost impossible for me to breath. Without thinking , I stood up and found myself running into his arms and when he took me into his embrace I felt a whole again .

Nothing would ever beat the feeling of being in the arms of someone you loved , it felt as if all your worries were gone and nothing else mattered but them . It was something that I would pay any price for , I really did have it bad for Kavos.

"Please don't cry my little lamb" Murmmed Kavos , his brows pulled down into a frown as he gently wiped the tears from my face .

I hadn't even realised I was crying . I just felt so overwhelmed by him and my emotions .

"S-sorry" I choked out , clutching him harder , almost as if I was scared he would disappear .

"Do not apologise for anything Blue, you could never do anything wrong , ever. Come , let's go home" Was his reply before teleporting us home.

"You're wearing my hoodie" Noted Kavos , leading me up the stairs and into his all black bedroom .

"Yeah, I took it from your room" I said with a sheepish shrug.

"Keep it , what's mine is yours. Sit, I have a gift for you " .

Giving him a curious look, I sat on his huge bed and watched as he walked into his walk in wardrobe and came back with a massive metal cage. What on earth could he have gotten me ? It didn't look like something that contained clothes or books, it looked almost scary.

"Open it"

Slowly , I took the metal cage off him and unlocked it when I heard the sofest of purs which made me gasp. I laid eyes upon the tiniest black creature I had ever seen, it couldn't have been bigger than my actual palm which was saying something as my palm was tiny .

It was a real life dragon.

Dragons were incredibly rare and the ones that were alive were in hiding so to have a tiny baby dragon sat in a cage that was on my lap was breathtaking.

"Oh my gosh, Kavos, I don't even know what to say!" I gasped , watching as the little creature opened its sleepy eyes and gave me a curious look.

"She's for you, your very own pet. I do warn you , baby dragons are lots of work so I brought you a book on how to look after them, not that you'll have to do much . I'll get Aztec to do all the hard and gross stuff " Grinned Kavos , giving me a slight peck on the nose.

Giddiness filled every inch of me as I slowly picked up the perfect creature and hugged her to my chest , she was adorable and I let out a giggle as her tiny tongue gave my palm a little lick.

"I'm going to name her Thunder, she's going to be so badass when she grows . What's the tallest she'll grow ?" I squealed , running a finger down her scales .

"21ft but it will take 10 years until she reaches that capacity" .

21 ft?!

That was huge.

"No fucking way !" I exclaimed without thinking.

Kavos gave me a withering look "Such dirty words shouldn't come out of such a pretty mouth Blue, if I hear such language again, I may just have to put you over my knee "

"Sorry!" I giggled , covering my mouth .

Aztec really was rubbing off on me .

We put Thunder back in her cage and once I managed to persuade Kavos to let me stay in his room tonight, I snuggled up in his bed as I secretly watched him strip off down to his boxers under my lashes .

" I can feel you staring " Came his smug voice as he had his back towards me.

"Am not!" I denied , burying my face in his pillow quickly .

He let out a rumbling laugh before he grabbed my ankle , pulling me to the end of bed which made me let out a quite scream in surprise . Looking up about to complain , my words were stuck in my throat as I caught the intense look in his eye.

"So effortlessly sexy and you don't even know it " Were his only words before his lips descended upon mine.

His lips on mine felt like heaven and it was like every single cell in my body was alight with anticipation and excitement , there was no other way to describe the feeling that was running through my body.

His lips moved against mine in a soft and gentle motion , I felt him pore all his emotions through it , I felt his love and desire for me and it made me feel wanted. My body was becoming hot and I felt damp down there , I wasn't sure what I wanted but I knew only he could help with it .

"K-kavos, please !" I gasped , clutching his head as his lips descended upon my neck .

"It's okay baby girl, do you want me to help you ? You want me to make you feel good , right princess ?" He murmured , kissing every inch of my face gently , almost as if he was scared to break me .

"P-please" I choked out , clutching his biceps as his lips went back to dominating mine .

Giving me a smouldering look , his lips left mine and he savagely bit down on the junction between my neck; but instead of feeling the pain that I expected once his canines harshly extended into my neck, I felt nothing but Eutopia .

"Yes, yes , yesssssss!" I moaned , tossing my head back and gripping his neck .

It felt as if I was cloud nine and was having a out of body experience as waves and waves of pleasure cashed through me , my toes curled and my eyes rolled to the back of my head .

Kavos consumed my every thought and feeling , all I could feel and sense was him , only him.

"Good girl , you done so so amazing baby girl , you done me so proud . Take deep breaths , come back to me my little lamb , good girl " Came the soothing tone of Kavos .

Taking deep breaths , I followed his instructions until the pleasure began to go down to a minimum and I could finally think straight .

"Sorry about that " I murmemed shyly , not daring to look in my eyes.

"Don't apologise , you were perfect . Always so perfect " Came the firm but soft reply of Kavos as he pulled me to his chest to cuddle me .

I had finally received my mating mark.
