Turning her head around she saw a short boy with ashy blonde hair came running towards her, his hair soaking wet from the rain and splashing everyone as he ran swiftly towards Chinatsu.

Stopping on her spot, she waited patiently for the boy to reach her. Soon the boy was just mere meters away from her but the boy realized that he had gone too fast and couldn't stop anymore so he ended crashing on her bare leg.

Chinatsu being Chinatsu didn't lose balance on her foot, so instead of her falling it was the boy who fell back onto his butt from impact. After that to say that Chinatsu was disturbed could be an understatement, the boy who was on the ground his eyes' were practically sparkling at the sight of her. Not that Chinatsu weren't used to those looks it's just that this boy didn't even notice he could just look underneath her black skirt and red side armor.

The thought seemed to come to him sooner than she thought, his eyes were almost staring at the spot until a powerful gust of wind blew him away creating some distance between them.

The only thing was Chinatsu wasn't the one who sent the wind towards him. "You shouldn't appear to be so desperate Asta." Blinking a few times before the answer was in front of her. On the road was another male, a tall one with messy black hair.

'He seems to have a large storage of mana.' Chinatsu noted immediately sensing his magic.

The boy named Asta seemed to have recovered rather quickly after the attack and got up on his two feet again, his body facing the newly arrived male. "DAMMIT YUNO! WHO WOULDN'T BE DESPERATE AT THIS POINT! SHE'S A MAGIC KNIGHT!"

The one named Yuno sighed to himself as he walked past Asta "That's why you have no luck with woman."

His comment lead to Asta reacting rather offendedly to it "THAT'S NOT SOMETHING YOU SHOULD BE SAYING TO ME, YOU HANDSOME JERK!"

However, Yuno ignored Asta and walked towards Chinatsu. "You must be Miss Chinatsu Knightwalker, I apologize for his behavior towards you." Yuno said with a straight face.

Chinatsu raised an imaginary eyebrow when she sensed no mana whatsoever from the boy Asta. "It isn't a problem, but if you'll excuse me I have to be going. I'd love to stay but I have to go." Chinatsu said with a slightly forced smile, her eyes were starting to get droopy when she faced the other way, her heart beat was slowing down as if she was ready to sleep.

"WAIT! MISS MASHU!" Asta shouted behind her stopping her in her stride once again. She didn't know why but she couldn't hold her demeanor any longer. Any second now she could burst and yell out loud at him for bothering her, but she managed to hide her frustration under her perfect mask.

Chinatsu whipped her head around and stared down at the two boys with her gleaming red eyes, lightning struck behind her as the rain seemed to have pooled down on her silky black hair.

The two boys stepped forth and said at the same time "How do you become a Magic Knight?!"

Chinatsu blinked a few times being imagining herself face palming and rubbing her temples together. She opened her mouth and said the first thing that came to mind "Hard work and relentless talent, that is the only path towards it." she said before walking away leaving the two speechless.

When she got far enough, Chinatsu turned to look back behind her to see if they were gone, indeed Asta was gone but the other male Yuno was still there. Chinatsu looked away when she felt her heartbeat quicken. She'd never felt this way before, her heart did loops in her stomach and her hands were uncomfortably sweating, even though the rain was still pouring.

Chinatsu decided to hide this unusual sensation and continued walking down the path leading to the capital. She wasn't going to see him any time soon so she shouldn't worry about the small details.

Just after Chinatsu left Yuno also felt something towards her, admiration? Respect or something deeper. Whatever the feeling was Yuno decided to stay on his spot watching the young Vice Captain walk away from him soon fading into the distance.

He knew that he had to surpass her, surpass Chinatsu in order to become the Wizard King.
