《Persona 6 (Fan-Made) [STOPPED]》Chapter 4: Yokohama Chinatown (part2)

"We're here," Kaidou said. It was a two-story apartment where she lived on the first story. Her family situation must be poor, from this scene.
"Now I have to go, thanks, you two," Rei said goodbye and waved at us. Kaidou looked a bit worried.
"What is it?" I asked. He jumped a bit.
"N-Nothing. Too bad I can only show you Yokohama's nightlife." Kaidou avoided the question.
"It's alright." Maybe it's because of that thing that happened. He may be still worried about it.
"Anyway, let's go for some drinks!" He said as he dragged me to a bar. He knew the owner so he could get some drinks, though he got normal cold water and me a can of beer.
"Really?" I asked.
"I can't handle beer, so yeah my treat." He gestured. I never liked beer before, not even now. It just breaks my body. It's only there to calm my heart, to comfort it. To be emersed into that hallucination...
"Hey, bud?" Kaidou then asked me, his expression was a bit worrisome.
"You okay? Oh, I'm sorry I served you a can of beer." He said while taking it away from me. He then placed a glass of cold water or Sky juice in front.
"I didn't know you didn't like beer or is it something else?" He was persistent.
"... Its something else," I said.
"Family problems?"
"Yep. That's why I drank beer in the first place." I moved my finger on top of the tip of the glass.
"I see... I'm sorry, I didn't know." He leaned back words, lying on his chair.
"It's alright, you didn't know. Who would ever tell you about that." I said.
"So we're in the same boat, I guess." He said. I looked at him. A curious expression was visible on my face.
"My dad is a police officer. He works early morning to late at night. My mother... Passed away, so I usually took care of the house."
"I'm sorry."
"It's alright, I didn't know her that well. My dad never paid attention to me. He prioritizes work over his own son, and well... That's why began I stealing." He continued explaining about himself.
"I wanted attention." He said. I've been there before. One of the reasons I took drugs. I didn't want my mom to use me like a doll. I eat and sleep and go to school, but never meet my mother or even say how I'm doing. She never comes home. She's always busy. I just wanted attention...
"Well, that was depressing. How about I show you around a bit more." He gave a wide smile. He paid for both of us and went outside.
"Man, its almost midnight huh." He said, looking at his smartphone. It was 11:45. Maybe I should head back.
"Well, let's go out. I mean we're teenagers, we can stay out how long we want." He smirked. While walking, I bumped into a person, a teenager that is a bit older than me. He looked dark and pale and had long black hair. Bags under his eyes, most probably from working or something.
"Ah, sorry-?" I bowed down and saw something wrapped in a package. It was the shape of a stick, is what I thought. I picked it up and handed back to the man.
"Here- Eh? He's gone?" In a split second, I didn't find the man. I had the package in my hand, looking around.

"Hey, you okay? What's that?" Kaidou asked me.
"I don't know... I just found it on the floor." I said. Curiosity took control of me.
"Wanna check it out?" He asked. I nodded. We went to a dark alleyway, where nobody saw us. I then opened the mysterious package. It was hard but once I got it to open, there was a syringe with what looks like a liquid inside.
"What the hell...?" Kaidou swears. It looks like a drug syringe for drug addicts. I never saw this before in my entire life. It looked like a syringe but it wasn't a normal one.
"Hey... That's a syringe that is used by drug addicts right? I never saw one like this before." He crept closer, examining the object. I just nodded.
"Its a bit different...." I said. Suddenly I hear a voice.
"Hey you two, what are you doing?" One of them said, shining a torchlight towards us. Once I finally see them, they were both police officers.
"Crap, we have to run," Kaidou said, taking his hood up and running. I followed suit but I was slower.
"No, not this again," I said, as we run around the streets of Chinatown, I became slower.
"Hey, come on!" Kaidou grabbed my hand and headed to another alleyway. This time we should have lost the cops but we kept on running.
"There an exit!" Kaidou screamed as he pulls my arm towards the exit.
"Thank you..." I said.
"Huh, what was that?" Kaidou replied.
"Nothing, anyway let's hurry up." As we run towards the exit of the alleyway, I saw walls became green and grass and vines scaling up the wall.
"What the hell!?" Kaidou panicked.
"Don't worry, keep running." We ran towards the exit, where we see all of Yokohama full of grass and green vines. The sky was dark green. The moon had changed its colour to a bright yellow. The windows of the building are overgrown with trees inside of it.
"Where are we? Are we still in Yokohama?" Kaidou said. I checked my watch, it was twelve o'clock. We saw other people walking or so we thought. They had a mask on their face, with a roman number one.
"What are those guys?" Kaidou panicked. They then saw us and headed straight for us.
"We have to run-!" As Kaidou turns to the other direction, he saw others that have the same mask.
"You got to be kidding..." He stepped backwards. Our backs touching.
"What the hell....."
"Looks like there is fresh meat my boys" An eerie voice was heard.
"Who are you?! Let us go!" Kaidou demanded.
"Sorry, but we are starving. Welcome to the 'Lost Eden'." The eerie voice spoke once more. Calling this place the 'Lost Eden'.
"I don't want to die... We have to get out of here!" Kaidou was panicking, this time his legs were giving out.
"Calm down," I said.
"How can you be calm! We're going to die!" He said. True, we are but there is no point in panicking too. I looked at the syringe that was in my hand. I felt like it was calling me.
"Do you wish to escape from reality?" A voice was heard from inside my mind. My legs then gave out and I fell down.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!" I was holding my head. What the hell, it hurts. What is this pain...
"Hey, you okay?" Kaidou asked. He didn't realize that one of the masked men tried to attack him.

"Kaidou!" It felt like time stopped for a moment.
"Do you wish to escape from reality and live your world in a hallucination. Do you want to be comforted your whole life and forget about the cruel reality you've gone through....." The voice said once more.
"... Yes," I said.
"Then give me your heart and call my name! Shall power be bestowed upon you and you shall forget this cruel reality you live in!"
"Yes," I said, I looked at the syringe and placed it on my arm.
"Per... So... Na." I mumbled the words. The syringe needle then pierced my skin, making me scream in agony. The ecstasy that flows through me was like nothing before. Behind me a, a figure then appeared, crystallizing itself to form what seems to be like a goddess.
"I am thou, and thou art i"
"I cometh from the sea of your soul
And heed thy call"
"I am Pasithea, Goddess of Hallucinations"
As the persona finishes crystallizing, I send an elemental attack.
"Pasithea, use Garu!" I ordered destroying the masked figure that was behind Kaidou. Kaidou fell down on his bottom, mesmerized by the persona.
"D-Dude, that was amazing!" He said.
"Now is not the time to celebrate, we have other problems to take care of." I helped Kaidou up, we looked at both sides and the exit way we came in.
"What a surprising turn of events... But now let's stop this charade."
"Hahaha... You're dead." I said. I then saw a fire axe on the floor and took it. I didn't realize that another shadow was charging towards me.
"Ryu, on your left!" Kaidou warned me. I saw the shadow and I hit it with the axe, doing little damage. I then ready another elemental attack.
"Pasithea, Garu!" I then did another wind attack towards one of the masked figure, killing it. Two more was heading my way.
"Pasithea, Garu again!" I launched another attack killing one of them that was approaching me. I missed the other one but I got to kill it with the fire axe.
"Bloody hell, there's too many." I was tired because of using most of the wind attacks. I fell down on my knees, puking a little bit.
"Ryu, hey you okay?" He ran towards me, checking my condition.
"I'm fin- Ahh!" I was screaming in agony because of the amount of energy that is being consumed. My persona then disappeared into small shards of blue crystals.
"Your persona is gone! How are going to do this now?" Kaidou freaked out when another one charged towards us. I couldn't get up.
"You gotta be kidding... Get up, Get up, Get up!" I screamed from the top of my lungs, trying to stand up and fight. Kaidou only watches there in terror.
"I... I can't fight..." I said, as Kaidou took my axe and took a stance.
"Kaidou?"
"I got you, just rest for now." He said, smiling. He then charged towards the shadow, holding the axe tightly.
"You're gonna get yourself killed..." I said as he swings the axe to the masked figure. He misses and the masked man then punches him in the stomach, making him shout a small scream.
"Ahh!- HAAAA!!" He swings again but misses. The masked entity punched him, right in the face, sending him flying.
"Ah!" He screamed in agony.
"Kaidou!" I said. I cursed myself for being so weak, I slammed the ground.
"Just, please.... Give me your power..." I said as I took the syringe one more time, placing it on my arm. Prepared to summon my persona.
"Don't... You'll die..." He looked at me, with tears. I stood up and glared at the shadow.
"It's better for me to die than you... Perso-" I was cut off from the sound of what seems a crossbow bolt, killing the masked entity. I then dropped the syringe. A person came down from above, landing perfectly like a superhuman.
"Oh, well isn't it Enki. Nice to meet you." The eerie voice said to the hooded person.
"You should run." He turned around, and I saw his face had scales and his tongue was like a snake. His eyes looked like a reptile. He took down his hood, to reveal silk white hair. On one of his hand were a crossbow and the other a crossbow bolt. I then headed towards Kaidou and lifted him up. The unconscious boy was badly wounded.
"Thank you." I thanked him and headed for the alleyway where we once came from.
"Wait, here." He said, he then threw me a small container full of pills.
"Use this to get back." He said. I nodded and took the syringe too. I opened the container and took out two pills, one for me and one more for Kaidou.
"Kaidou won't be unconscious for a while, I should just stuff it inside his mouth," I said as I stuffed it in his mouth.
"Its bitter.," Kaidou mumbled, still unconscious. I also took the pill. I stream of energy was flowing into me, different than when I took the syringe. It felt like I was going to collapse again. Before I knew it, we were back in Yokohama, right into the middle of Chinatown. Kaidou also woke up.
"Hm... Huh? Are we back in Yokohama?" Kaidou said.
"Yeah," I said. We then noticed people staring at us, most probably because I still had the fire axe and it was covered with a black liquid.
"We should get out of here," Kaidou said as he stood up, preparing to run. I nodded in agreement. We then ran towards the exit of Yokohama's Chinatown, dropping the axe but holding on to the syringe and pills. As we split, heading towards our own ways, my head became dizzy.
"Man, I'm tired," I said. As I went back home and knocked on the door, I got a good scolding from my aunt and went to bed. What a weird day...
---------------------------------------------------------
"So those kids are the one who 'stole' the package." A woman in a business outfit said.
"Yeah, well not stole." The person who bumped into Ryu was also there.
"Well, it's your fault you dropped it. Sheesh, take this seriously." A girl with short brown hair said. She seemed like a noble person from a big group.
"Well, I'm sorry, Touka." The man apologized to the short brown haired noble girl.
"Well, whatever. It's a careless mistake, Suzuki." Touka said to the skinny pale guy.
"So what do we do now, Miss Kikuno?" She asked the woman in the business attire.
"Well, since you failed to deliver the package, I'll have to report back to Mitsuru... But we did get an outstanding result from the user." Kikuno said, holding her chin.
"Send my apologies to Miss Kirijo... Wait what do you mean by 'outstanding result'?" Suzuki asked, confused.
"We now have two other members that have the potential."
