《Persona 6: Fanmade redone!》Chapter 19: House Of Mirrors

After the strange and unfamiliar southern voice came on the poorly put together intercom, a big lavender sign illuminated saying, "Anzu's Big Top Circus!". The big steel gates opened to very dismal and gloomy sight.
It was like an entire fair ground with broken parts and the entire color scheme was of dark purples, blues, greys, and black. Everything was cold and dark, having its own atmosphere of dread.
The Quaran-Team hesitantly entered the deserted fair grounds to find no one there. It was just them. Yasahiro then tugged on Isas' shirt and pointed to a little long building to the right of them.
"There. We have to go through there." He said.
"Hm? Why there?" Suki asked.
"F-feelings...it will reveal her to us." He explained.
Suki nodded. "You haven't been wrong before...alright. Let's head in!"
Suki led them into the building, labeled,
She pushed the heavy door open enough for everyone to fit before it slammed shut behind them. The lights turned on but dimmed soon after. The halls were just lined with the mirrors you would find in any old funhouse. But something seemed...off.
The southern voice broke in again.
Confused but willing to press on, the Quaran-Team moved forward, stepping in front of their own mirror.
In Kimi's mirror, it showed a version of Kimi, her clothes prim and proper, her hair tied back in a neat bun, her skin a porcelain white with makeup done. The mirror came with its own voices too.
Kimi scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Yeah, right!"
She looked over at Yasahiro, who seemed to be very disheartened. In his mirror...was nothing. There were no voices, no reflection...nothing.
Am I...nothing? Really....nothing?
He began to tear up. Kimi reached over and threw an arm around him.
"Hey, hey, hey. Whatcha crying for?" She asked in a bit of hushed voice.
"I...I don't exist. I don't....I don't...'fit.' "
She scoffed again. "No, that lady in the ugly pantsuit don't fit. Cause that ain't me. You ain't nothing. You're Yasahiro!"

Yasahiro smiled, feeling so much better.
Isas shook at the sight. His reflection was everything he was sure that he was. His reflection was that of a prince with marks and bruises with the rest of him remained "perfect."
"Do not speak in such a manner to me! I am your mother!"
"You have to be perfect if you want to make it in this bussiness."
Isas looked over at Jumin, with his reflection showing him as a disheveled child with bruises as well.
"Dumbass!"
Jumin seemed to be shaking, his mirror began to crack as he started to give into the voices. Isas quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him into his embrace. Jumin jumped a bit.
"Hey, hey, hey. Calm down. These voices, this...that is not you! You know that. I know, you know that, your parents know that, your friends! You are none of those things."
Jumin shook a bit more before calming down, feeling much better than a few seconds ago.
"Thanks Isa..." Jumin whispered.
"Of course..."
Suki took a step in front of the very last mirror at the end of the hallway, right by the doorway. She let out a light gasp as she saw what her reflection had to show.
Her original brunette hair was tied in a messy bun, her eyes sunken in sadness, her green eyes gone grey. She was wearing a black dress and no shoes.
That's me...when mom died...that was me...
"That is me."
"Just let me mourn!"
Suki gripped the sides of her head. This wasn't what the world, what her father, or what anyone else saw her as.
This is who she saw herself as.
This was her and her alone.
The voices became louder, pounding in her head, scrambling her brain. She crouched down, her hands tearing at her hair. She began hyperventilating.
The others looked her way, greatly concerned.
"Suk? What's wrong?" Kimi asked.
"Ichika-San?" Isas questioned.
"S-shut up...please...SHUT UP!"
The mirror began to crack severely as Suki began to shake. Isas advanced closer to her.

"Ichika-San! Calm down! What ever the voices are telling you, you must stay strong! They are not-!"
"I said...SHUT. UP!!" She screamed.
Just as she did, all mirrors shattered, flying all around the room. The others dropped flat on the floor as the shards flew. Once everything had calmed, they stood. Suki quickly composed herself, hoping the others would ignore her outburst, but Kimi was not going to let that fly.
She quickly but carefully walked over the glass shards and grabbed Suki by the shoulder, turning her around.
"Yo, what happened there? You freaking out and-"
"It was nothing! I'm fine!" Suki unexpectedly snapped.
She turned away from them, gritting her teeth. "Let's keep going. We've cleared this area."
The others exchanged a look of concern before following her out. Once they had left, they saw a thin figure waiting for them.
"Why hello there darlings! I'm so glad you came!"
(Just picture it as Anzu with more dark black, purple, and blue features)
It was Anzu's shadow in some kind of ring master's outfit, waving them over.
"Is this how the real Anzu acts?" Kimi asked in a hushed voice.
Isas and Jumin shook there heads.
"No. For one thing, there's no chance in hell she has an accent like that." Jumin replied.
"Secondly, she is more closed off and quite solemn." Isas added.
Anzu groaned. She suddenly leaped high into the air and landed right just a few inches in front of them on her own two feet. The others stood back in utter shock and surprise.
"Now that's what I call an entrance! *Gasp!* My, The Prince has arrived! And it looks like he's brought some of his court along too! Why, I am mighty honored to be in you presence~" Anzu exclaimed, taking of her big top hat and taking a bow.
"What the hell...?" Kimi mumbled.
Anzu looked behind them to see the mess that was now the House Of Mirrors.
"Well what do we have here? Seeems you've had more fun than I anticipated. Broke all my mirrors, seems like." She shook her head.
"Big show....?" Suki questioned.
Anzu cheered happily.
Big show..? Big show... Suki repeated in her head.
Suddenly, something clicked in Anzu's head.
Anzu marched off with the Quaran-Team following hesitantly behind her. She bounced on the balls of her feet as she walked, seemingly joyous as can be.
Most of the attractions were empty game booths and broken rides. Animal changes and trailers were broken open.
The only thing that did not seem to be broken or unfinished was the grand circus tent.
"And this here, is where the big show's gonna take place! Feast your eyes on greatness!"
She threw open the tent flap and revealed her grand plan. The team was left breathless.
The whole area was filled with the most dismal looking shadows. Some were dressed as sad clowns, others lion tamers, and so on.
Suki looked up to see the trapeze but...something was off. There was just rope hanging from the ceiling of the tent.
She sighed.
They all seemed confused.
"Last show?" Yasahiro asked.
Anzu nodded sadly.
Suki was a bit confused, trying desperately to piece things together. The words...they meant something. She just didn't know what.
Anzu snapped back to reality, an ear to ear grin on her face.
Anzu turned them around and pushed them from the tent and forcefully shoved them to the ground, shutting the curtains.
"Ow..." Jumin groaned.
They all stood, turning back to face the tent, very puzzled.
Her shadow...was different. Very confusing, in fact.
"We should best return back and exchange the data we've gathered." Isas suggested.
The others nodded in agreement, turning to make their retreat. But Suki stood there, a bit confused.
She was unable to understand fully what she was planning. She needed to see it for herself.
She needed a closer look for herself.
"Yo Soup! You coming?"
"H-huh? Oh! Yeah! On my way!"

Beyond The Game (Abandoned)
Kaine sighed as his foe advanced once more, never letting up, barely giving him time to breathe. He pressed forward as well, excited and ready, welcoming the bloodshed that was to come. His short blade, meeting the bestial warrior's bone-made longsword. Their weapons clattering sound into each of their ears when they clashed. Kaine pushed, as did his foe, beginning the contest of strength. A dance which Kaine controlled the steps of. As their eyes met, both of them weary, but Kaine's expression was resolved...maddened almost. Whilst his foe's was fear-struck, the creature was terrified down to its core. As were its comrades which surrounded them, watching, waiting for an opening to have at Kaine themselves. Seeing many...but they faltered, as the dead had seen the same openings before. Their battered, broken and still freshly bleeding bodies laying sprawled about their surroundings. It is just one... One of them thought in shaken disbelief. Just...Just one man but he kills so many...smiling even! Glancing from the dead, and back at Kaine as he slew another. No...this is no man... Was its panicked conclusion. This one's a monster! As Kaine turned to face it, weapon ready and grinning widely throughout his approach.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
