It was Saturday. Ikki wakes up as he received a text from an unknown number.

??? (Text): Yo!

??? (Text): You awake?

Ikki (Text): Huh? Who's this?

??? (Text): You forgot about me already? I'm sooo hurt~

Ikki: (Text): Wait, Kane is that you?

Kane (Text): The one and only.

Ikki (Text): What do you want so early in the morning?

Kane (Text): Ai-chan told me I could call you anytime if I need your help with anything, that was the deal in exchange for giving you a discount at my weapon shop.

Ikki (Text): What? I wasn't told such thing.

Ikki (Text): What is it that you need help with?

Kane (Text): I got a job for you.

Kane (Text): Swing by Pyreforge in the MatriX, I'll explain there.

ACE meets up with Kane at her weapon shop.

Kane: You're here... Good, I hate waiting.

ACE: So what's the job?

Kane: Straight to the point, huh? I like that in a man... As for the job, there's a quest called the "Evil Voracious Dragon" in the Southern Mountains.

ACE: What about it?

Kane: It's a quest that involves defeating a powerful dragon guarding a treasure. If defeated, you can get an item called "Metal Dragon Scale," an item that can be used to create weapons that could snap the ones you currently possess into a thousand pieces.

ACE: Really? Sounds cool.

Kane: But the boss himself is terrifyingly strong on his own, and the path to where he's located it's filled with strong Shadows, so if I were to go by myself I'll get killed quickly. So I need you to party up with me for a while to help me go clear the quest.

ACE: Sure, but why are you asking me for help in this? I thought you were a thrill-seeker.

Kane: Intelligence brokers were able to gather a lot of data on the boss... It's name is , and not only he's tough, can reflect Physical and Gun skills, absorb Fire and Nuclear skills, and resist Electric skills. They were also able to conclude that the dragon has no weaknesses at all.

ACE: So it's fine as long as we use Ice, Wind, Psy, Curse and/or Bless skills, right?

Kane: That's right! You seem to be compatible with lots of different Arcanas. I can tell you're no ordinary player. What'ya say? Ready to party-up?

ACE:I can manage on my own. I don't need you slowing me down.

Kane: What? Don't underestimate me! I'm a master spear-user, not to mention I have some very strong Personas.

ACE: Fine, you can come. Just don't get in my way.

Kane: Did you forget who invited you to this quest!?

ACE: You will give us that discount if I help you out, right.

Kane: I swear on my pride as a COMP Smith.

ACE: Fine. We have a deal.

"I am thou, thou art I... Thou has established a new bond...

"It shall become thy strength, thy wisdom, and thy courage to clear the game..."

"Rejoice! For thou has been blessed with the power of the Strength Persona...

The two of them arrived at the artic zone.

They continue walking as Kane started to shiver. Then ACE tossed her a Hot Drink.

ACE: You forgot to buy some, didn't you.

Kane: Yeah. I'm always so excited about going on a new quest a tend to take them right away without much preparation. I end up succeeding most of the time though.

ACE: Uh-huh.

Then they hit a dead-end.

ACE: It's a dead-end.

Kane: We managed to cover a lot of ground, though. Let's head back for now.

They decided to call it a day. ACE feels his bond with Kane growing deeper.

After hours of traveling, the two finally arrived at the cave where the dragon was hiding.

Kane: Be cautious ACE. We can't be sure what's up ahead.

Suddenly, the cave starts trembling as they hear a metallic screech. Then Fafnir appears in front of them.

ACE: Is that the boss?

Kane: There's no mistaking it. Get ready.

Kane: Watch.

Kane took a few steps forward as she summoned her Persona.

Kane:

Valkirie shoots a powerful bolt of electricity, but Fafnir swiftly moves out of the way and dodges. Then ACE charges and sneaks behind him.

ACE:

Matator strikes Fafnir with a Psychic attack, but it did little damage. Then Fafnir strikes him with it's tail, sending ACE flying and crashing onto a wall.

Kane: ACE!

ACE: Damn it...

He then switches to High Pixie to heal himself. Then Fafnir charged straight at Kane.

ACE:

Fenrir gets in the way and stops Fafnir with both hands.

ACE: Now!

Kane: Right!

Valkirie then shoots Fafnir again with another Electric skill, although it pushed him back it didn't do much damage.

Kane: Damn it! It's defenses are too thick!

ACE: Then try this,

ACE switches from Fenrir to Yaksini, and raises Kane's chance of critical hit with Rebellion.

Kane: Thanks!

Kane re-summons Valkirie and strikers a stronger bolt of lightning. However, it was still not enough.

Kane: It looks like I got no choice.

ACE: Huh?

Kane: I'll attack it head on!

ACE: I'm sorry?

Kane: I command thee!

Valkirie reappears.

Kane:

Valkirie starts attacking repeatedly with Electric skills.

ACE: Not bad...

However, ACE looks back at Kane, and she started panting heavier the more she attacked.

Kane:

When Kane tried to attack one more time, she falls to the ground, then her Persona vanishes.

ACE: Kane!

ACE runs up to Kane and picks her up. Then Fafnir goes for the kill.

ACE:

Fenrir creates multiple Nuclear explosions around Fafnir. ACE takes the chance to teleport them back to Cyber City.

Back at the workshop, Kane was regaining her stamina.

Kane: Man, I really got carried away.

ACE: It seems the boss is still too high-level for us to fight at the moment.

Kane: You're totally right. We'll re-take this quest some other time.

ACE: Definitely. I have my pride as a Genius Gamer. If I leave this quest uncleared I won't be able to live with myself.

Kane: Thanks for your help. I will continue working on the special menu for you guys.

I feel my bond with Kane growing deeper.

Kane: Well, we didn't accomplish anything today. So we better level up and defeat Fafnir before someone else steals our thunder.

ACE: You're right. Let's do our best.

Ikki decides to log out and call it a day. He feels like this experience has increased his.

Agatha: What Persona will you be requesting this time?

Ikki: An Oni.

Agatha: Coming right up.

Agatha mixes Sudama and Koppa Tengu, giving birth to a new Persona.

Ikki: T-Thanks?

Agatha: This one looks feisty. It seems like he will be useful for quite some time.

Ikki has welcomed Oni into his heart.
