《Persona X》Stage 6: Sabbath

The team was in The MatriX taking on a Shadow Extermination Quest.
Tempest: Switch!
Tempest baton passes with Kunai, then she summons Ching Shih and strikes the Pyro Jacks with electricity, thus winning the battle.
ACE was able to gain more Personas in the process. After reaching killing enough shadows, the quest was cleared.
Rogue: Man, I'm beat!
Kunai: I think we can call it a day.
ACE: Can you guys excuse me for a moment, there's something I gotta do.
Kunai: Sure. Go ahead.
ACE leaves the party and heads to the Velvet door where Agatha was waiting for him.
Agatha: You sure kept me waiting.
ACE: I'm here, aren't I? Let's go.
They both entered the Velvet Room.
Igor: Welcome. How may I help you?
Ikki: I'll be needing a new Persona.
Agatha: Coming right up!
Then Agatha mixes Berith and Silkie essence into a new cocktail.
Agatha: Behold... The Jack Frost Cocktail!
Ikki: Thanks.
Ikki consumes the cocktail, giving him both a brain-freeze and a new powerful Persona.
Agatha: Oh my gosh! THE Jack Frost, is so cute!
Ikki has welcomed Jack Frost into his heart.
Ikki: There are other Personas I'd like as well.
Kunai and Tempest were at the Pyreforge.
Kunai: Is it ready?
Kane: You bet! Behold your new, upgraded COMP. "Eleos".
Kunai: Thanks a lot Kane. We should be ready to explore the dungeon now.
Tempest: So, Kunai? About what ACE said...
Kunai: What of it?
Tempest: Should we really trust Gamma?
Kunai: It will be alright. Gamma's information has saved us from making fatal mistakes during Labyrinth explorations multiple times. We'll be just fine.
Tempest: .....
The members of the Gamma faction were at their hideout.
Pendulum: So Viper-chan...
Viper: I gave them the "right" information.
Pendulum: Good. Always the reliable one.
Haywire: Hehe. Tomorrow will be quite the spectacle. Everyone knows the plan, right?
Viper: Yes. We step back before entering the magic barrier, then wait for the shadows to do the dirty work for us.
Pendulum: And if some rats happen to miraculously survive, we just step in and deal with them.
Viper: .....
After days of grinding and making preparations, the raiding parties were at the entrance of The Lovers' Labyrinth.
Azule: Okay, now remember everyone, a powerful Belphegor is waiting for us at the end of the 1st floor. We also have the other Shadows to deal with before actually reaching it. Don't let your guard down.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
Tempest: The time is now.
ACE: Did you make the right preparations?
Tempest: We did as you told us.
Rogue: Yeah, this Labyrinth will be a piece of cake.
ACE: Good. It looks like we'll be just fine.
Azule: All right. Let's head in.

The parties entered the dungeon.
As they venture inside the dungeon, they searched around the area and looked around.
Azule: According to the map, the way to the next floor should be over here.
Then they were ambushed by Shadows. As they started fighting, Kunai saves Rogue from an Orobas.
Rogue: Thanks girl.
Kunai: You should really be more careful when in Labyrinth.
Rogue: I know, I know.
Then they continued travelling until they reached an open area.
Azule: The mini-boss should be just around here.
Then they heard an alarm go off. The room went red as magic walls appeared in the area, blocking the way out.
Azule: It's time! Everyone, get ready.
To everyone's surprise, what appeared in front of them wasn't a Belphegor, but Eligors alongside Angels and Daemons.
Player: Wait, what?
Player: Wasn't it suppose to be a Belphegor?
Azule: This isn't what we were told at the meeting. Gamma! Explain yourselves!
Gamma was outside the barrier.
Viper: Yes?
Player: You said the mini-boss was a Belphegor! What is this?
Viper looks at them with a confused expression.
Viper: Hmm... did I?
Pendulum: By the way, we may have made a little miscalculation, so the enemies here might be a bit stronger than the report says.
The players were shocked to hear that.
Pendulum: We'll be enjoying the show from above. Have fun dying~!
They sit at a platform above them to watch the players struggle.
Player: Wait!
The player couldn't make it past the wall.
Player: What is this?
Haywire: Oh yeah, we may have also forgotten to include a barrier in the report, sorry~
Inves: You sons of bitches.
Azule: Everyone, look out!
Everyone then started fighting. However because hey received the wrong information, most players were struggling and being killed due to poor preparation.
Inves: Don't fight! Retreat!
The players tried to use Goho-Ms, but they failed.
Player: They aren't working!
Kunai: The barrier is preventing us from escaping?
Haywire: Hehe. Like rats who fell into a trap.
Azule was crawling back terrified aswere slowly approaching him.
Azule: This wasn't supposed to happen...
Tempest tries to step in, but ACE grabs him by the shoulder.
Tempest: What is it?
ACE: Look.
Azule wasn't the only one, Kunai was in trouble as well as she was surrounded by too many Shadows.
Tempest: Kunai!
ACE and Tempest choose to help Kunai and leave Azule to his luck.
Azule: SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!
Just as ACE's vision had predicted, Azule is stabbed to death multiple times and banished.
As he was running, ACE looks above to see Viper, who was standing with what appeared to be her faction, and her teammates were smiling the whole time.
ACE and Tempest were then fighting their way through the Shadows.

Tempest:
Tempest summons his Persona, Momotaro.
Momotaro started fighting an Eligor until they were both at stalemate!
ACE: Tempest, now!
ACE and Tempest pulled out Elec Shards, dealing weak Electric damage to the Eligors. The players were confused at this.
ACE:
As the Eligors were paralyzed, ACE uses the opportunity to summon Jack Frost and freeze them.
Kunai: What the...?
ACE: Preparation is everything in dungeon raids. I did my homework on Eligors, since they're weak to Electricity, such is the way to go.
Kunai: Yeah, that's true.
Tempest: Kunai, ACE was right all along. We shouldn't have listened to Gamma.
Kunai: But... What's going on?
ACE: Hey, don't lose focus, this battle isn't over yet. We need to get your head in the game Kunai.
Kunai: I expected to encounter a Belphegor, I didn't bring any Personas with Electricity skills. ACE, do you have one I can use?
ACE: Huh?
Kunai: You can trade Personas with players that are in your party. My main Arcana is Temperance, I'm also compatible with Empress, Judgment, Moon and World.
ACE: Oh. I got just the thing.
ACE passes Seiryu to Kunai, who then realizes something.
Kunai: Wait, Rogue!
ACE: Rogue?
They looked around and find Rogue fighting a Daemon by himself. ACE's crew step in to save him.
Kunai: Rogue, are you okay?
Rogue: Hey, I almost got it!
ACE: Have you seen your HP?
Kunai casts Dia on Rogue.
Kunai: Better be grateful.
Rogue: Thanks a lot.
Kunai then stands up and faces the other players.
Kunai: Everyone! My team and I will take care of the Eligors, the rest of you keep the Angels and Daemons at bay.
Rogue: You got it Boss!
The other players nod as they went to face the minor Shadows.
Kunai:
Kunai summons a blue eastern dragon.
Seiryu roars loudly and strikes the Eligors with Zio.
ACE:
ACE follows shortly after and summons Thor to attack with electricity, meanwhile Tempest continues to attack with Elec Shards. After several electric attacks, the shadows were all paralyzed.
Kunai: They're down. Let's All-Out-Attack them and finish this!
Tempest: Yeah!
But then, ACE hears Fenrir's voice.
ACE finds himself in a cybernetic void with Fenrir in front of him.
ACE: What is this?
ACE: Sabbath?
ACE somehow realizes what he means.
ACE: I understand.
Fenrir: Then go. No holding back!
ACE then returns to reality.
ACE: Let's get this show on the road.
Kunai: ACE, what are you-
A large pentagram appears beneath ACE. Then he snaps fingers, causing his entire party's Personas to appear beside him.
Tempest: What's happening!?
Kunai: I don't know!
ACE had a sinister smile on his face.
ACE: Get 'em boys!
He gives the command and his Personas charge at the Eligors through an All-Out-Attack. With the final blow delivered by Fenrir.
Everyone was in awe.
Tempest: Holy moly.
Kunai: Its like an All-Out-Attack performed by Personas.
Rogue: I wanna do that!
After the battle was over, ACE falls to the ground completely fatigued as he ran out of SP.
ACE: Damn this stupid SP bar.
Kunai: What were you thinking you unbelievable idiot!? Constantly using your Persona can take a toll on your psyche, but using so many at once? Do you wish to die so badly!?
ACE: Sheesh. It worked, didn't it? Quit complaining so much.
Inves: Here.
Inves passes ACE an SP recovery potion. ACE drinks it and his bar is back to full.
ACE: Thanks.
Inves: Don't mention it. That was some crazy stuff you did just now.
Gamma watched the whole thing in awe.
Pendulum: What the hell was that?
Viper: Should we step in now?
Haywire: No. More players than we expected survive, and I don't think messing with that blue-haired player is a good idea.
Pendulum: Then why did we do all this for!?
Then ACE gets another vision.
ACE: ....!
ACE sees himself getting pierced by a powerful arrow shot by Pendulum, who had a big sadistic smile on her face.
Pendulum: Argh! Screw this!
Pendulum tries to shoot ACE with a powerful arrow, but ACE reacts in time and summons a Persona to block the attack, much to Gamma's shock.
Pendulum: W-What...?
Viper: Impossible!
ACE: You three have some explaining to do.
Gamma quickly makes a runs for it.
Player: Wait!
Gamma had vanished.
Kunai: Damn it! They tricked us. We trusted the information we were given and fell into a trap. DAMN IT!!
Kunai smashes the ground in anger.
Rogue: Those dudes will be hearing it from me next time I see them.
Tempest: How many did we lose?
Player: 37 players didn't make it. Including Azule-san and most of the Mystic Knights.
They were shocked to hear that.
Player: But... how could that have happened? We came here with an army of 50 players. How could we lose so many?
Then giant stairs leading to the next floor appeared.
ACE: Well, enough rest. This dungeon isn't gonna clear itself.
Kunai: Wait, Gamma only scouted this floor, we don't know what's up ahead. For now we must head back and recover.
ACE: Must I do everything myself? Good grief.
He once again snaps fingers to summon his entire Persona roster.
ACE: Scout the next area for any potential threats. If you find anything of value, let me know ASAP.
ACE's Personas quickly scatter and scout the entire floor.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. (This work is also being serialised on Webnovel under the name Revile as a trial run)
