POV Dayanara.
~Two weeks later~
"Sorry, Luna. They can't come in." One of the guards said. According to them, my old pack wasn't allowed to come in.
"Yes, they can." I said but the guard blocked my way. I growled and stepped infront of my pack. "Get the Alpha." I ordered.
"What's going on?" Alexander walked down the stairs.
"The guards won't let me and my pack in." I stated while glaring at the guards. "These are the few members left of my pack and I offered them a place to stay in our pack."
"You can't do that." The same annoying guard spoke up.
"As your future Luna, you bet your ass I can." I craned my neck to glare at him. "Alexander, they helped me when my uncle kicked me out." His body tensed. "Whether I like it or not, I'm still their Alpha."
"Alright fine." He agreed and I stuck my tongue out at the guard.
"Get them settled into an empty house in the village or in the packhouse. They can choose what they want." He then turned to me. "We have an acceptance ceremony to plan."
Before anyone could make a move, the door to the living room burst open. "Dude what the hell?!" Alexander frowned at Gabriel as he pushed the guards aside.
Gabriel growled at me as I stood infront of my pack. I roared back loudly and he bowed his head. "Tesoro, step out of the way." Alexander motioned his hand.
I sighed but did as he said and Gabe's head snapped up. "Mine!" He growled lowly while locking eyes with Annabell. She was a year younger than me.
Annabell looked panicked and shrieked before rushing to me and hiding behind my back. I looked back at the Beta male and my heart broke. Never before had I seen such hurt and sadness in his usual bright eyes.
"Annabell, what's wrong?" I turned to her. Gabriel on the other hand ran out and shifted.
"Alpha, you know what happened with the old Beta male." She whimpered.
"I'm a Luna now, he is your Alpha." I pointed to Alexander. "Come on, let's go to my room."
She nodded and I walked up the stairs. We entered my room and sat down on the couch.
"Annabell, listen. Gabriel is nothing like Jax. He is sweet, funny and caring." I assured her. "You're his mate, he won't ever hurt you."
"I'm scared." Shs whispered as tears rolled down her face.
"It's okay to be scared but your mate is the one you'll feel safe with." I smiled softly.
"Okay, I'll meet him. But it'll be in this room with you in it." She compromised and I agreed. I stood up. "Aren't you going to call him?"

"No need." I smiled and opened the door. Alexander and Gabriel fell in. "Get up you idiots."
Both of them scrambled to their feet and stood tall. Gabriel rushed to his mate and crouched down. "Are you okay?" He whispered, lifting his hand to wipe her tears but she flinched.
"What did you do to her!?" He yelled at me and I flinched at the loudness.
"I didn't do anything." I felt mad that he accused me.
"Yes you did! She is crying!" He growled.
"It's you! You moron! She is afraid!" I shouted and his eyes widened. "You should not come at her growling and yelling!"
"I'm sorry." Annabell whispered, she looked at me and I gave her a nod. "I just have bad experiences with Betas." She mumbled.
"That's okay, we'll just take it slow." He assured, grabbing her hand.
"I'll prepare a room for you." Alexander spoke up.
"She'll sleep with me!" Gabriel growled possessive while pulled her closer.
"Gabe, don't you think-" He cut me of by growling. Annabell shrieked and ran from his hold to hide behind her Alphas.
"Listen to me dipshit!" I growled as I pulled the collar of Gabriel's shirt and his eyes widened at the sight of his angry Luna. "You are gonna tone it down a notch! Get your wolf in line and control that possessiveness. She is scared as hell and I don't need you to drive her insane!"
"Why is she afraid of me?" His voice cracked.
"A Beta did something bad to her." I mumbled. "So calm down and think before you act."
"I'll do it." Annabell spoke up. "I'll sleep with you. But you can't do anything to me without permission."
"Deal! Deal!" Gabriel jumped up and down.
"Go and get to know each other." I pushed them out. "Remember Gabe! I'm watching you!"
"Can we plan the ceremony now?" Alexander sighed.
"What is left to plan then?" I asked as I followed him to the office.
"Not much." He shrugged. "The stage is set up and so is the backyard. The food is done and I got your dress."
He handed me a black bag with a hanger and I smiled. "Some French designer made it." He smiled. "I haven't seen it yet, though."
"I should probably go change." I said, there were only two hours left before the ceremony was starting and the sun was beginning to set.
I looked at him through my lashes, my eyes begging him to kiss me. We haven't kissed since we made up and before not that much either.
"What?" He asked when he noticed my stare. "Do you need something?"
"No, I'm just admiring what's mine." I blurted out, a blush covered my cheeks.

"Just go change." He chuckled while shaking his head.
"Alright." I nodded and leaned up, kissing his cheek. His body stiffened and I left quickly, thinking that I made a huge mistake.
I pulled out the dress and put it on with a lot of struggles. I grimaced when I looked in the mirror. It was white and tight at the top with lace over the shoulder, that part was pretty but the bottom... It had big ruffles, sparkles and was very big.
"I can't do this." I shook my head.
'Yes you can.' Leah argued.
"Look at me, I look horrible. I'm not fit to be a Luna, I prepared for a human life." I mumbled back.
'Dayanara, I know what you are thinking and don't even dare.' Leah snapped at me but I ignored her and put all my walls up.
I walked to the balcony and looked down. "I've done it before." I muttered before hopping over the rails. I landed on the floor with a thud and immediately started running.
I got to the nearest subway station and got on a random train. I plopped down on the bench and put my head in my hands. I can't believe I ran away, I thought as I cried softly. People on the train were giving me pitiful looks and I resisted the urge to glare at them.
"Daya!" A voice exclaimed and a hand stopped the doors from closing. With a lot of force the doors opened and familiar blue eyes locked with mine.
"What's going on?" He asked, sitting beside me as the train started to move. "Everyone is going crazy looking for their lost L-" He stopped himself and glanced around. "Bride." He mumbled quickly.
"I can't do it, Mateo." I cried into his chest.
"What do you mean?" He asked, hurt in his voice.
"I prepared a human life." I sobbed. "A wedding not an acceptance ceremony. A husband not a mate. A ring not a mark and to be a mother not a Luna."
"Dayanara, calm down." Mateo pulled back so he could look in my eyes. "It's all going to be okay but you have to go back with him."
"Who?" I asked as the train came to a stop.
"The Alpha outside the train, who is crazy for you by the way." He winked.
"No he's not." I shook my head. "He doesn't even want to kiss me." A blush crept onto my cheeks as I told Mateo my struggle.
"Believe me he does." Mateo commented. "He's afraid he'll lose contol."
"Mateo!" A loud voice roared as the doors opened.
"He might lose it if we don't get off." He informed me. "Coming!"
"I can't."
"Daya, it's going to be okay."
"I can't because I'm not wearing shoes." I pulled up the dress to reveal my bare feet. He chuckled and sat down again. He took off his shoes and slid them on my feet, making a tight knot because they were too big.
"Thanks." I stood up and chuckled as he waddled out on socks.
"Why are you not wearing shoes?" Alexander questioned.
"Daya is wearing them because she ran out on bare feet." He shrugged sheepishly before walking off.
"What happened?" He asked softly while taking my hands in his.
"I can't be a Luna and I hate this dress but I know you spent a fortune on it." I replied just above a whisper. "I already planned my human life out like, home, childeren and hopefully a handsome husband."
Alexander's low growl interrupted me and I rolled my eyes. "I didn't think that I would shift again. Let alone find my mate!"
"Are you having second thoughts about us?" He asked, hurt and sadness clear in his electric blue eyes.
"Not about us, about myself." I shook my head. "I'm not fit to be a Luna."
"You are more fit to be an Alpha female, My Alpha female, than anyone else in this world." He cupped my cheeks in his hands. "You are the strongest, smartest, most beautiful woman I know." I nodded and gave in. "Let's get you a better dress."
"Mateo can come with me, right?" I asked and he nodded.
"Let's go." Mateo smiled as he popped up behind me. I nodded and followed him. I looked back to see my mate still standing at the same place, lost in thought.
"I'll be right there." I mumbled as I turned around. Not hearing his response, I made my way back to Alexander.
He didn't notice me until I was right infront of him. His confused eyes looked at me questioningly as he tilted his head to the side. "Since you never do it, I'll do it." I whispered.
"Do what?" He asked.
I took in a big breath, it's too late to chicken out now. I grabbed my mate by the back of his neck and pulled him down, letting my lips meet his.
After a second of shock, his arms wrapped around my waist as I rested my other hand on his chest. He kissed back hungrily as I moved my hand up to tangle it in his hair. He let out a low groan as he pulled back for air.
I took his bottom lip between my teeth and my eyes looked up at him. Only to find him staring at me already. I let go and kissed the corner of his mouth before letting him go. I smiled cheekily at him before running off to find Theo.
