POV Alexander.

It's been a week since we enrolled in the new school. Dana has been a pain in the ass since day one. This school is terrible. All I can smell is expensive perfume, food and sweat.

I was texting my sister while walking up the stairs. When I heard a squeal, suddenly I was knocked off my feet because a body landed on mine. I held the person tightly as we fell down the stairs. The girl sat between my legs as I broke her fall.

I opened my mouth to snap at her but she spoke before I could. "I'm very sorry." Her sweet voice whispered. Then I noticed her heavenly scent, strawberries and mint.

'Mate.' My wolf howled in joy. I growled lowly at the person who dared to hurt my future Luna.

"Are you okay?" I helped her up and sparks erupted. I smiled brightly as I snapped back to reality because of my mate's voice.

"Sorry again, I didn't mean to." She said looked me in the eyes before scurrying off. I wanted to go after her but Mateo blocked my way.

"You okay dude?" Theo asked.

"Kinda." I nodded and looked around. "You two." I pointed to two she wolves leaning against the wall. "Who was that girl?"

"That was Dayanara, Alpha Kingston." One of them said while they bowed their heads.

"Did you see what happened?" I asked.

"There is this group of humans, they always bully her." The other replied and a low growl rumbled in my chest. "She could easily take them but she prefers to keep to herself."

"If you see something like that happen again, help her." I said.

"Alpha we can't. Those girls will make our lives a living hell." They shook their heads.

"If I find out you didn't help her, I will make your life a hell." I growled while stepping closer. "Take your pick." I snapped before stalking off. I tried to follow my mate's scent but there were too many other scents.

"Theo get me Dayanara's schedule." I barked as we walked to class.

"Dayanara who?" He asked.

"I don't know! But I don't think there are many Dayanaras! Especially not at this school!" I shouted. "You're the smart one! Figure it out!"

"Alexander!" Gabriel snapped at me.

I growled at his tone and turned to him. "I am still your Alpha, Gabriel."

"I'm sorry." He bowed his head. "But as your Beta, I suggested you calm down before you shift infront of everyone."

"Fine." I said before walking to my classroom. When I entered, her scent hit my like a truck. I looked around and spotted her in the corner of the room. I took in her appearance.

Black glasses framed her face and her hair was put in a French braid. Her hazel eyes were focused on a book as she studied the pages carefully. Black skinny jeans hugging her long legs and she wore a dark red knitted sweater with the sleeves covering her hands.

'Gorgeous.' My wolf, Angelo, purred in delight.

"Are you gonna come in or keep staring at me?" She asked, not taking her eyes of her book. My eyes widened before straightening my posture and striding to her.

"H- Hey." I stuttered. What the hell, I never stutter. I'm an Alpha for Godsake. "I'm Alexander."

"Dayanara." She replied, uninterested.

I opened my mouth to ask her some questions but a voice cut me off. "Go." A human girl stood infront of Dayanara's table.

My mate quickly grabbed her bag and book before taking a seat on the other side of the room, by the window. My wolf whined because she put distance between us.

"Hey there handsome." The girl purred. But it sounded like she was a fourty year old smoker.

"Yeah, no." I shook my head before getting up and sitting down beside Dayanara once again.

"Can I help you?" She asked, finally looking up to me.

"Nope, just sitting here." I shook my head.

"Why?"

"You don't want me to?" I asked confused.

"You're attracting unwanted attention." She motioned her hand around us. People were staring, some glaring but most of the gazes were just curious.

"Let's try that again." The same girl sat infront of me. "Hey, I'm Camila."

"Alexander." I replied, not looking at her.

"Tell me something about yourself." She stood up and pushed Dayanara's book off her table and took a seat on the table. Dayanara rolled her eyes and picked up her book.

"I'm not interested." I said. "Could you please leave?"

"What why?!" She shrieked.

"Dayanara is trying to read and you're a nuisance." I smiled fakely.

"Who is Dayanara?" She spat out her name like it was poison

"That's her." I pointed to Dayanara, who wasn't even interested in the conversation.

"Oh, her." She gave Daya a nasty look before going to her friends.

"So Daya." I said but she gave me a warning look. "I mean, Dayanara. Wh-"

"Everyone shut up and get to page 34." The teacher cut me off. I let out a soft growl in annoyance, careful not to scare Dayanara.

~~~
After school, I told Theo to drive my car home and I followed Dayanara. I made sure she got home safely and then made my way to the woods. I stripped and shifted into my black wolf. I ran to the packhouse and shifted back behind the trees.
I put my clothes back on and hurried inside. "Woah, why are you in such a rush?" My dad asked after I crashed into him.
"Thank you so much!" I wrapped my arms around him.
"You're welcome but what did I do?" He asked confused.
"No time! Gotta go." I answered and rushed upstairs. "THEO MY OFFICE NOW!" I yelled.
"What's the matter?" He asked as he saw me and we walked to my office together.
"Help me find as much information about Dayanara as possible." I stated amd sat down at my desk. I started typing, searching the internet .
"Alright." He nodded and got his laptop.
~~~

"I got nothing." Theo sighed as he leaned back in his chair.

"Me neither." I shook my head. "It's like she doesn't even exist."

"Why are we looking into her background anyway?" He looked at me curiously.

"That's not important." I dismissed.

"Boys! Dinner is ready!" My mother shouted. My head snapped up and my eyes met Theo's. Almost as if we were reading each other's minds, we raced down the stairs.

"No!" He yelled as I reached the stairs before he did. He grabbed the back of my shirt, pulling me back.

"Cheater!" I growled as he ran down the stairs. I jumped up and tackled him, we fell down the stairs.

"I win!" Gabe said smugly as he was alrady seated at the dinner table with a plate. I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed a plate.

"There you go sweetheart." My mom placed some food on it.

"Mom." I sighed at the amount of food on my plate.

"You can always go for seconds so stop whining." She shook her head at me.

"But I'm hungry." I whined.

"My turn." Theo stepped infront of me. I rolled my eyes and took a seat at the table.
