I was currently sat in a room with Sophie, Rebecca, Gayle and a few other female members of Kieran's pack. We were discussing the decorations, food and music for the big event coming up. I am nervous as I won't know anyone else from any other packs. I would feel more relaxed if my parents, cousin Scotty and best friend Natalie could make it. Kieran was lucky at this moment in time, he was currently training with some members of his pack outside. It made me curious as to what they did here for training, back at the old pack, we didn't do much training.

"I'm going to get some more refreshments since we seem to have run out" Gayle said bringing me out of my train of thoughts

"Need some help ?" I asked, maybe a little too eager

"Your meant to be here planning this with us" Sophie chipped in

"I won't be that long, just a quick little break to help, how much longer can we go without some water and snacks ?" I asked

"Good point but maybe Rebecca could help out her aunt" Sophie answered

"Sophie let the poor girl have a quick break, the plans will still be here when we come back and we can jump back in" Gayle pointed out

I was so grateful that Gayle decided to jump in and come to my rescue. I guess she could see how much I really needed a break. Since Kieran decided to throw this ball / party it's all anyone and everyone has been talking about non stop. I haven't told anyone how I'm really feeling about this whole thing yet.

"Okay fine but don't be to long and come right back" Sophie said pointing her pen at us.

Gayle promised her we wouldn't be too long and we left the room. We walked to the kitchen in silence and I got lost so deep in my thoughts again.

"Penny for your thoughts" Gayle said

"It's nothing" I said trying to brush it off

"It's all this party talk isn't it" Gayle quizzed on

"Kind of, I mean since it was suggested it's all everyone seems to be talking about and I'm just at my limit with it, yes I know it's in my name and I'm so grateful but I also have other feelings too" I began to explain.

We reached the kitchen, Gayle walked us over to the large table and pulled out a chair then motioned to the one next to it for me to sit next to her.

"You can talk to me, it's okay I won't tell anyone anything. I will just listen" Gayle said

I moved from where I was standing and to the vacant seat next to Gayle.

"It's just that no one has asked how I'm feeling about this whole thing. I'm so nervous and scared as I won't know anyone from the other packs. I'll only know a few people from this pack, my parents if they attend, my cousin and best friend if they can make it" I began to explain

"You've just moved to a new pack, your still getting to know people here and making friends, maybe try and interact with more people here. Have you told Kieran how your feeling ?" Gayle asked

"Not like this I haven't, I don't want to upset him or anything" I explained

"Kieran is a very understanding person, you need to talk to him. Maybe he can arrange for you to meet some of the other pack members" Gayle suggested

I nodded talking her wise words into consideration. We soon got to work getting the refreshments ready. Gayle used a trolley and put some pitchers of fresh cold water on it and some plates with some light snacks. There wasn't a lot of room on the trolley for everything so I offered to carry a few small plates. On our way back to the meeting room, which was basically Kieran's very spacious office, I noticed my lace had come undone. I stopped and put the plates down so I could tie my lace back up.

"You okay there ?" Gayle asked

"Yeah you go on ahead, I'll be right behind you" I told her

Gayle nodded and smiled before she continued on her way back. I reached down and tied my lace. Once it was done I rested my head on the wall to the side of me and closed my eyes and enjoyed the peace and quiet. That didn't last too long though as people's voices shouting sounded from outside in the garden. I turned and looked out, I saw the pack members finishing their training. I scanned the garden until my eyes landed on the Alpha himself. He looked hot in a white vest top and navy shorts. A group of small young boys all ran over to Kieran with smiles on their faces. I watched as Kieran interacted with them and the smiles that grew more and more on their faces. I had never seen or witnessed Kieran around kids up until now.

"Wait until that's him with your kids / pups one day" A familiar female voice said bringing me out my thoughts.

I quickly turned and saw Sophie standing there, an unreadable expression on her face.

"Oh Sophie, sorry I just needed a moment" I began to explain

"A moment to check my brother out" She asked with a cheeky grin

"That wasn't my intention" I tried to defend myself

Sophie moved from where she was standing and sat next to me.

"Am I being too pushy with planning the ball and party ?" Sophie asked

"No Sophie your not, it's just....I haven't really met anyone here except from you, Rebecca, Gayle and Kieran obviously. I never met anyone outside my old pack so I won't know anyone from the other packs that Kieran wants to invite. If my parents and best friend can make it, it's only going to be them that I'm going to know. I don't know if everyone here likes me, what if no one from the other packs like me" I said already beginning to run a thousand scenarios threw my head.

"Oh my Felicity, I am so sorry. I have been pushy with you and your feeling like this. Well I like you, I think you are far better for both my brother and this pack. As far as I know, everyone I've spoken too seems to like you a lot, they've seen how happy you've made Kieran recently" Sophie told me

"Do you think maybe you could maybe introduce me to some of the other members of the pack, even just the females ?" I asked Sophie

"Yes of course I will, have you spoken to Kieran about any of this yet ?" Sophie asked

"No not yet. I don't want to upset him about anything" I answered honestly

"He'd be more upset if you didn't speak to him about this" Sophie said before standing back up.

I gave her a confused look wondering what she was doing or where she was going.

"Come on, we have your birthday party to plan" Sophie smiled

I smiled and stood up. I took one last glance out the window but as I looked to Kieran, I found him staring back at me. I blushed feeling like I got caught doing something I shouldn't.

"Come on you" Sophie said grabbing my arm and leading me away. I didn't even realise that she had lifted the plate I was meant to have carried back earlier.

"Okay, we definitely a chocolate fountain at the big party" Sophie squealed in delight

"Sophie, are you forgetting who's party this is ?" Gayle asked

Sophie looked at me with puppy eyes.

"Chocolate fountain it is" I smiled

Sophie and Rebecca both cheered in delight at my answer.

"Oh and we need one of auntie Gayle's famous cakes with the different colour sponge threw the middle" Rebecca cheered

"Rebecca, this isn't your party to decide that" Gayle said in a stern tone

Both girls looked at me.

"Please say yes, Gayle's cakes with the different colour sponge threw the middle are amazing" Sophie pleaded

"I haven't tried them yet but they can go on the list if Gayle doesn't mind making some for the party" I said and looked to Gayle

"I don't mind for you but don't let these two keep guilt tripping you into adding things they want" Gayle said giving the girls a stern look.

That was the meeting finally finished which I was a little happy about. I began to take a walk around the house. I really wanted to go back to the library, it seemed a shame it was there with tones of books but no one seemed to use it or go in there much. As I was walking, I swear I could sense that someone was walking behind me, I stopped and turned around but there was no one there. I shrugged it off and continued walking but I got the weird feeling that someone was there again. I looked but yet again there still wasn't anyone there. A hand wrapped around my mouth and I was grabbed from behind. I began to panic and tried to struggle but this person was clearly strong.

"Shhh it's okay" A familiar male voice whispered in my ear.

The person let me go and I turned to face him.

"Kieran what the hell are you doing ?" I asked trying to catch my breath

"Just proving that I'm better at watching you than you are at me" Kieran replied

"What do you mean ?" I asked trying to sound confused

"You earlier on, when you were meant to be with the others planning your party and I was outside training, I saw you checking me out" Kieran whispered in a seductive voice

"I was looking out the window at the scenery" I tried to lie

"Your not a great liar sweetheart" Kieran said

I stayed quiet not really knowing what to say or how to answer him. I looked down at the ground wondering how I could change this awkward situation.

"Where are you going to just now ?" Kieran asked as he lifted my chin up with his finger.

"Well I've finished the plans for today with the others so I was going to sit in the library for a little while" I answered

"You do love the library don't you, should I be worried about anything ?" Kieran asked teasingly

"No, I just love reading and there's an amazing selection of books in there. No one ever goes in there anyway" I said shrugging

"True, not everyone loves reading or holding a book in their hand. So what kind of books do you like to read in there ?"Kieran asked but he still stayed close to me

"I like crime thrillers or murder mystery ones" I answered truthfully

"Hmmm interesting, have you been tempted to look at any of the baby books or the baby section ?" Kieran asked

I was shocked. I never thought he'd ever ask something like that. Was this him hinting at something ? Did I need to prepare myself to give him a baby / pup as soon as we were mated ? All sorts of things started running threw my mind

"No, why ? Do I need to look at them or read any of them ?" I asked nervously

Kieran laughed, probably at my nervousness.

"No Felicity, you don't need to read them just yet but once we're mated you do know I do and will want kids / pups, right ?" Kieran asked

"Maybe we should talk more about this later, in your room" I suggested

"Our room" Kieran corrected me

"Right. Yes that's what I meant. Sorry it's been a long day. I've already got a shed load of things to think about" I explained

"You don't need to be so nervous around me. I would say I don't bite but I've already bitten you and marked you" Kieran whispered in my ear

Kieran pulled away from my ear then connected his lips with mine. We ended up in a heated make out session. It felt like it had been going on forever but in reality it had only been a few minutes. Kieran pulled away and we both gasped for breath.

"Anything else we need to talk about later tonight ?" Kieran asked

What did he mean by that ? Oh no has Sophie said something to him about our chat we had ?!

"About what ?" I asked

"Our upcoming event" Kieran answered

"There is something I need to talk with you about but it's nothing bad. I've already spoken to Sophie about part of it" I explained

"You spoke to my sister before me ?" Kieran asked and I swear he sounded hurt

"Yes but only about a small part of what was on my mind" I tried to explain

"But I am your mate and Alpha, you should always come to me first about anything" Kieran said in a stern voice

"I was going to but you were busy and I didn't want to land any of my problems on you. But I swear I was going to speak with you tonight about things" I explained.

"I would have made the time for you" Kieran pointed out

"I'm sorry. I guess I just thought I would be a burden or laying my problems on you" I said

"Felicity, you are not a burden to me, your problems are my problems. We share our thoughts and feelings to each other and try to work a way threw any problems we face" Kieran said as he placed both his hands on either side of my head and placed his forehead on mine

"Promise me next time and in the future you will speak to me first about anything" Kieran asked

"I promise" I said

I felt Kieran relax before he placed a kiss on my forehead.

Here it is, chapter 11 ! :) I hope everyone reading this book is still enjoying the story so far ?!

Believe it or not, I started writing this chapter on Tuesday, I wrote more last night, I was hoping to get it published on Tuesday night then update last night and then again tonight but things kept popping up, making it impossible for me :(

I managed to make this chapter a little longer for you all :D I might go and start to write chapter 12.....
