I stood there shocked, I didn't think even Jamie could be that cruel to reject his mate and still deny me mine back. It was clear, Felicity wasn't expecting him to do or say anything like that to her either. Seeing the hurt in her eyes, I wanted to offer her some kind of comfort, but she just ran off.

"How cruel can you be? She is a person with feelings too you know!" I roared at him. I could feel my inner wolf angry at this pathetic excuse of an alpha that stood in front of me.

"I just told her the truth! She isn't fit to be a Luna!" Jamie growled back at me.

I gave him a look of disgust and disappointment before walking off, if I stayed there any longer, I'm sure things would have gotten way more heated, and more exchanges would have been said between us.

I thought about going after Felicity and talking to her but decided against it and decided she probably needed some space right now.

The next day, I made my way to her house to try and speak to her on her own, I waited until her parents had left, I knew her dad still worked for the pack, her mother would be heading out soon. Once they were both out of the house, I snuck in threw her bedroom window. I was shocked to find her room empty. Her bed looked like it hadn't been slept in. I decided to look through the house for her. I tried to pick up her scent but there was nothing. I knew she hadn't gone out. Something on her bed caught my attention, it was a letter, but it had 'Mum & Dad' written on it. I quickly looked at the letter.

"Dear Mum & Dad,

I write this letter to you both with sadness and regret. I have left the pack, I felt unable to be or stay after what happened with alpha Jamie and what he said. The rejection was hard for me to take. I am leaving during the night while you are both asleep, so I don't cause you any more heartbreak or disappointment. Please just know that I will be in contact with you when I feel more settled and ready to talk. I will always love you both so much and hold you close to my heart. Love Felicity xx"

I couldn't believe it. She's left because of him! I had to try and find her somehow. I quickly put the letter back then left. I was careful not to been by anyone. I got back in my car and drove back to my pack and my home. I tried not to speed on my way back, but it was hard when my mind was having a thousand and one thoughts running through my mind.

"Alpha Kieran" One of my pack members called after me.

"Not just now please Louis" I replied as I quickly made my way inside the huge mansion. I went straight to my very large spacious office where I found my second in command, Josh, and also my beta, Alex.

"You okay, you don't look good" Josh asked noting my current state.

"I went to Felicity's house, to talk to her like I had mentioned to you" I began giving them both small glances. They both nodded in understanding and urging me to continue.

"She's gone, she left her parents a note, she left during the night, she didn't feel like she could be around there after what he said and did to her" I told them. I said he in a low growl with a hint of disgust.

"Did she say where she was going?" Alex asked

"No, only that she would be in contact with her parents once she was ready to talk" I answered

"Well, we can keep an eye out, if she walks onto the wrong land, she may not be that lucky if anyone else from another pack thinks or considers her as a rogue or threat" Josh pointed out.

"I want extra patrols in the woods and more areas covered if we can" I instructed them.

They both nodded and went off about their day and work.

I paced around the whole mansion most of the night. Wondering just where she could possibly be or gone too. She was an only child; I could tell that much from the family pictures in her home. It was now 22:00 pm and it was pitch dark outside. My mind was racing with all different thoughts, and I was worried about Felicity.

I couldn't take it anymore, I decided to go out and scatter the woods myself. I had just made it past the entry of the woods, my woods, when 2 of my pack members, Jacob and Lucas came running up to me in their human form. They were sort of out of breath so I take it they must have been running in their wolf forms.

"Alpha Kieran, you must come quickly" Jacob said with a worried look on his face.

"Why? What is it ?" I asked my voice laced with concern

"Please Alpha, just follow us back to the others" Jacob said before both him and Lucas turned and ran. They ran back in the direction that they had just previously come from. I followed behind them closely. They ran deep into the woods; I saw a small crowd gathered around something a little bit further up.

"Alpha, it seems we may have an intruder or a rogue" Bradley, another pack member of mine said in a serious voice.

I looked down at the ground. I swear I felt my heart about to break out of my chest. I shook my head.

"She's not an intruder or a rogue, this is Felicity, she was Jamie Richardson's true mate, but he rejected her right in front of me, he was cruel, she left her parents a note saying she'd left Jamie's pack, I wasn't sure where she'd went, she's not a threat" I told them as I carefully picked Felicity up in my arms. I carried her bridal style back to my mansion and went straight to the infirmary.

"Alpha Kieran" Dr Wilson greeted me

"Hey Doc, this is Felicity, she was found in the woods, it looks like she's fallen and hit her head off a rock, I'm not sure how long she's been out there. She recently left Jamie Richardson's pack after he rejected her" I informed him.

He instructed me to gently lay Felicity on a medical bed. Once I had, he called a few other nurses and doctors over before rushing her off. I tried to follow them as much as I could before Dr Wilson stopped me.

"I'm sorry Alpha but I really need you to stay here until we check her over, once we have some news for you, I will let you know" he told me.

I paced around the infirmary waiting area for what seemed like hours. All I really wanted to do was burst through the doors and into the room, but I knew if I did that, Dr Wilson would only throw me out and even out of the waiting area. If you couldn't already tell, I'm not good with all this waiting around nonsense.

Finally, about three hours later, Dr Wilson emerged from the room and glanced over in my direction.

"Doctor Wilson, how is she? May I go in?" I asked eager to see if Felicity was okay,

"Sit down for me please Alpha so I can speak with you" Dr Wilson replied.

I gave him a confused look but sat back down, Dr Wilson sitting next to me.

"We have her stable, she's still unconscious at the moment, I ran a few different head scans, but they all came back clear, no signs of any head bleeds inside her head which is a good thing, my only concern is how long she was out there in the woods and cold. She also looked a little malnourished and dehydrated" he told me

"So, what have you done or given her to help her?" I asked with a hint of uncertainty in my voice

"We have her on a drip and also some antibiotics which will help her, I will be monitoring her and keeping a close eye on her"

"Will she ever wake up?" I asked

"Let's see how things go over the next few days" he told me before allowing me to enter the room.

I walked in and was shocked at first when I saw Felicity. She looked so weak and fragile, hooked up to a few different machines plus a drip in her arm. I took a seat next to her bed. I guess one of the other nurses or doctors must have put this here for me. I carefully took her small hand in mine.

"Please wake up soon Felicity" I whispered.

I prayed in my head that she would wake up soon. All I can do now is wait.
