The week passed and I couldn't get enough of my little baby. I didn't know I could fall for anyone this easily, but I guess it's possible.

"Will we sleep over?" Soren asks over the phone.

"There's the option, but I didn't think you would want to." I tell him and drink my cup of black coffee.

"I don't mind. At least we don't have to drive back home. It will be easier for you."

"Okay, but won't Atila get annoyed. Maybe he thinks it's lame."

"No, no, he's super excited. He's a very extroverted person. He can make friends with anyone."

"And you?"

"Ehm, we will see. I'm happy that ... I will some new people. Who will we be there?"

"Everyone. My siblings, cousins, parent's siblings, I guess one grandparents can come."

"Oh, that sounds like a lot."

"We always have huge family parties. You'll get used to it."

"I hope so. It was always the three of us." His mom and Atila.

"Right, but now it's more. I will pick you up in half hour?"

"I don't know if I'm done packing."

"That' fine. I'll wait if you're not. See you then."

We drive to my parents house for 1 hour and half. They are quite far from my house but close to 2 of my siblings house.

I guess you can never make it work for everyone.

I didn't tell them that I have a boyfriend yet, I just announced that I'll bring someone with me.

Is my family homophobic? That's a very hard question to answer and I want to explain it to Soren one person after another.

I feel bad that he doesn't have a family. And I feel even worse that I would love to NOT have such big family. It gets so annoying and overwhelming sometimes.

But I don't wan to say it out loud because it might hurt his feelings. I guess people always get what is other's dream but your nightmare.

"Don't be nervous. You look nice." I hold Soren's hand as he gets out of the car.

"Now I'm not sure. I feel a bit nervous." He looks up to me.

"Non sense." I kiss his forehead, "Atila can you grab the bag. It's my dad's birthday gift."

"Sure." He takes it. "I didn't know you give each other gifts too. I thought rich people have everything, or they just send money."

I smile. "No, we don't have everything and it's still a nice gesture."

The door to the house is open, I guess no body wants to go running there and open. Also there's like five cars here already.

"Lars, Hi." My mom runs to me and kisses me on the cheeks, "how have you been?"

"Good."

"Oh, and who are these guests?" she smiles.

"Well, this is my boyfriend, Soren and his brother Atila." I announce to her.

She looks at us speechless. "Your boyfriend? You didn't say you have someone. Why didn't you tell us? Well, nice to meet you. I'm Anya." She shakes Soren's hand and Atila.

"Nice to meet you. Your house is really nice." Atila says, "where is your husband we have a gift for him."

She chuckles and takes Atila around the waist. "Come with me, then."

"She likes him more than me." Soren whispers.

"No, she likes people who give her attention. Atila fits her profile. Be glad, she only talks about weird thigs, let Atila make her company."

He smiles and nods.

I hug my father quickly. "Happy birthday, dad."

"José, did he tell you? He's so misbehaving. He didn't tell us he has a boyfriend." My mother snitches to dad right away.

"Yes, Soren is my boyfriend." I take Soren by the shoulders and put him in front of me.

"So you don't like girls anymore?" dad says.

"I do, but I like SOREN now." He looks away embarrassed and I move his chin.

"Well, at least you are cute." Father shakes his hand. "how old are you?"

"I'm twenty two." Soren gulps.

"And younger? You should stop dating younger people."

I roll my eyes. "It's not about that, dad. It's about who you like. Where's others."

"All around the house. Go find them."

"Atila will make you company."

I move with Soren to the hall. "He's disappointed." He says.

"But not in you, in me, Soren. The looks were meant for me. I think he will like you.

Atila will work it out for us. I will show you some of my family. Sadly, parents are straight and old, so there not a bit ... old school. But they support us, really. Otherwise they would not let me in the house."
